Honestly, probably not. It was a GameCube game. My brother and I both beat it, I bought it on a complete whim because the title and back of the case made it sound sweet. The reviews for the game are really good, I remember it being pretty challenging and the sanity effects were really great for the time. If you have the resources to play it, I'd say go for it. If you have to buy a system and copy of the game it might not be worth it in all honesty. I'm sure the controls are clunky making the game frustrating. I remember plenty of parts that were hard because of the camera and controls but it didn't ruin or sour the experience for my brother or I.
It probably completely depends on your tolerance for older 3D games, it's 14 years old or so now.
Eternal Darkness Gameplay Walkthrough 1
Here's a gameplay video. I don't want to spoil anything if you decide to play it. The video is 10 mins long.
MAYBE there is a GameCube emulator that would work, I have no idea though. I think you'd have to buy a GameCube and find a copy of the game to ever play it. Highly doubt it will be remastered or brought to the Nintendo eShop.
Prices for the game are anywhere from $25~ to $100~ depending on condition.
I didn't play a lot of GameCube games so for me, Eternal Darkness is one of the best games for the system. I haven't played it since it came out though, so lots of rose-tinted memories.
EDIT: you might be better off watching a play through of the game versus spending money to get it.
Who said they are rare? There are like 70 copies up on Amazon right now.
Clear plastic PTU (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B62HCSXS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) because it shows off the awesomeness of my Maliwan MoskeetoDesigns skin (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1279704446/maliwan-steam-deck-skin)
None. I can't just drop the case in though I have to "lock" it in by angling it forward first then pushing it back. The dock latches on the rim of the case.
Using this one right now: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B62HCSXS but I will probably return it because the seller told me they'll be updating the case with a cutout for the dock. This is just a solution for the meantime.
I have the 512 case. But again none of the SD slip on cases allow enough room to fit in the OG SD carry case. The carry case I use with the slip on case is:

With my SENQAO protective case and joystick nubs, it fits perfectly in this carry case for me.
Deck fits just fine too.
Hey I got these and they fit perfectly, because they fit attached the case is very bulky but they fit enough accessories, I can fit a small charger + original joycons and a small brick that I can clip the joycons on.

I just got this one and it’s pretty nice so far
So the original place i saw it was a drop down question, but that link doesn't work anymore. The second location i saw it was the description of the gamecube release on Amazon, where it says not released on n64 in NA, but instead we got the gamecube version. Japan did get the 64DD which is what just about everything was originally developed for

I can help you there. If you make an Amazon account and make sure the language is UK in settings, you can get it for £40 ($50), which is below average selling price. Hope this helps.
The one for Gamecube? Yeah, single disk with both games.
You can see it here, in the 3rd picture
There was also a version that game bundled with Windwaker. Single case with Windwaker and the master quest disk inside.
You could buy 20 of those for one *used* copy of Paper Mario Thousand Year Door on Amazon.
If you think this is expensive, I've seen copies of Super Smash Bros. Melee go for upwards of $200.
EDIT: $150 used. I highly doubt you can find a mint copy and if you could, it'd be more.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
Here is link number 1 - Previous text "Yes"

Looks like it goes for $59 on amazon if you haven't found a copy yet.
Sweet - thanks for the interest. Resident Evil is the GameCube one, yeah? This one?
I'm a little interested in Melee as well, though it's a smaller want.
The original Four Swords game was a simple multiplayer component, but 4SA was a standalone game for Gamecube with better visuals and more puzzles.
They both have stories, though.
