If your PC has Bluetooth it will run right out of the box. Otherwise you'll need a usb Bluetooth dongle or a Xbox wireless adapter for Windows 10 or a micro usb cable to use it on PC.
I got a Razor Kishi to play Stadia on my phone and it's been pretty great. I can fit it in a large pocket while it's still attached to my Pixel 4XL.

G430 is consistently about the same price on Amazon.
Is that a better headset (according to the naming)?
Edit: best buy comparison here: G233 is stereo and G430 is surround.
I got this Razer Kishi Mobile Game Controller / Gamepad for Android USB-C: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, xCloud, Stadia, GeForce NOW, Luna - Passthrough Charging - Low Latency Phone Controller Grip - Samsung, Pixel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086X8DHN2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_N2Z31EFZQAJE4H0CSG1E
There’s a lot of stress on those small parts. I found a halo strap as a replacement that’s more robust as well as more affordable and comfortable. It eliminates the face squeeze. The headset attaches to the halo via firm but adjustable hinges, which allows one to rock, press, and hold the Oculus headset firmly into one’s face, improving the chance of staying in the sweet spot even with vigorous play.
Best I can tell there are several “labels” that seem to be the same design (and maybe even manufacturer) - pretty typical for generic Chinese products like this. Here are two examples of many:
Also there are dozens of reviews on YouTube, just search “quest 2 halo strap”. The only minor complaint I have heard (beyond a bit fiddle to fit) is it’s a bit closer to your face when tightened so if you have a huge IPD you may see the edges of the LCD. My IPD is average and I didn’t notice it...
Isn't this basically the razer kishi? Except for maybe the part of the controller that extends below the phone.
I personally love Logitech's line of mechanical keyboards. I bought the G613 for home use and was such a fan I picked up the K845 for the office. Nice brown caps, full 108 keyboard, and zero RGB for super reasonable. I think $75 for the wireless and I got a renewed version of the wired for under $50.
!!!!!
Same for the Rift S page on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PTMKYS7

I checked the Amazon page DAILY for the Rift S and it pops up everytime. It's probably down as it's being updated , hopefully we get a launch tomorrow !
It's actually different. See here.
The product page originally said HDMI. I preordered in April and it said HDMI and NOTHING about a DisplayPort. The Amazon UK description STILL says HDMI.
Mine broke a 2nd time a few days ago. Rather then put in a ticket, waiting and get a third cheaply made replacement I bought this halo strap from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LGSFQYR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
It is more comfortable, cheaper and made with better material then the junk Occulus makes.
I use this type of controller with my phone. More comfortable than holding a PS4 controller with a mount.
Google's own Pixel phones are great options. The 4A and soon to launch 5A are their "budget" offerings. Otherwise you can go flagship with the Pixel 5 or October's Pixel 6.
Stadia caps at 60 fps so no need to specifically target 120 hz screens. You will ideally want one that is at least 1080p though.
Some solutions that don't involve a new phone:
For your current phone, you could purchase a USB-C to Ethernet dongle (or hub if you want to charge simultaneously) and see if that helps, if you think your Wi-Fi might be the issue.
If input lag is your "laggy" issue (you press a button then it takes a sec before character reacts) it could just be your bluetooth controller. Bluetooth isn't great for gaming, you can wire the controller in via USB, or purchase an official Stadia controller which uses Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth. Or get a Razer Kishi!
> Razer Kishi
> D-pad on Kishi stopped working
Nice game controller!
Have you tried it on another Android phone?
You might try this one...
It's for mobile cloud gaming, but I'm pretty sure you can pair it to the Xbox too. I own one (for when I'm mobile gaming). It's roughly the size of an old school NES controller.
I hope it helps!
Get a halo-style replacement. Mine arrived yesterday and it has significantly increased my comfort and ability to keep the Oculus in the right place.
Most people seem to really like the halo strap so I'd say they're worth it. You can buy them in the $20 range off aliexpress though the delivery time is a month or two.
I bought mine off amazon. It was more expensive but I had it here in two days. Also, if I didn't like it I could return it easily.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LGSFQYR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
There is also an upgraded version that's a little more expensive. I saw in a video where the part added to the rear is soft (adds no stability) and not really worth it so I went with the normal one and am very happy with it.
Keyboard: DIERYA DK63 Wireless 60% Keycaps: YMDK Keyset
Keyboard was only $50 when I bought it.
Bought this shipped from Amazon for $36.50. Original estimate was Dec. 11 but I guess the shipping container from China came in early, now arriving Dec 1. If you're willing to wait, it'll be in stock sold cheaper from Amazon. The amazon return policy is too good for something as finicky as a headstrap.

It doesn’t NEED one but I would 100 percent use it for anything u connect to PC. https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Xbox-Wireless-Adapter-Windows-Packaging/dp/B0785SFKYF/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=xbox+adapter+for+pc&qid=1603831096&sprefix=xbox+ad&sr=8-3
Bluetooth in the pc isn’t the best bc it was designed for Microsoft proprietary Bluetooth. Just buy that dongle and then it will act like a sync button that your Xbox uses. U can connect your headset and controller to your pc wirelessly. Instead of sync to your console, you’ll sync to that dongle plugged in to your pc
This isn't new, this is exactly the same as my Mayflash fightstick, exact body and everything...works with Playstation, Xbox and PC. It's got cheap parts or considered to be some of the cheapest parts for fightsticks in general, but the useful bit is the 'turbo' feature that it allows for some buttons.
This is nothing but a rebrand or third party acquiring already available parts from a parts supplier. It's very similar to units like a XIM4 that use a controller as a middle man to provide inputs across a controller. You plug the unit or fightstick into the console first then then plug the controller into the fightstick and it piggy backs of the controller inputs.
Just preordered mine on Amazon. Estimated delivery: May 22, 2019.

The product page originally said HDMI. I preordered in April and it said HDMI and NOTHING about a DisplayPort. The Amazon UK description STILL says HDMI.
That isn't my problem though because I have the ports. It is a failure on Oculus/Facebook.

I updated my reply with proof. Here's a link to Amazon UK so you can verify. I think the 1 stars on Amazon are justified considering this screw up.
it is this keyboard:
https://www.amazon.com/Mechanical-Keyboard-Bluetooth-Wireless-Multi-Device/dp/B07FZVCH4H?th=1
I like it and it's been working well for me. The only cons is the placement of the shift and the /? buttons.
And the dongle by itself is still available on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Xbox-Wireless-Adapter-Windows-Packaging/dp/B0785SFKYF/
So I wonder what is going on with OP. If he has no controller, buy them both together. If he has a controller, then buy the adapter.
Microsoft is directly pushing xbox controllers for use on PC now that they have game pass for pcs and xstream.
Yeah, I can totally see that. I've got a pierson pallet system and vacuum chuck plate so I could do the entire keyset op1 in one go, but like...I don't really think that'd save that much time. Would dropping the 10 key and going to a more minimalist layout simplify the process? I know there's a huge market for custom mechanical - something like this layout could save a lot of the work by cutting out overtravel limitations.
