I have the Golf Buddy Voice and absolutely love it. Super small, clips onto your belt or hat and can speak up pretty loudly if you want it to. Also Sub-$100.

It gives you front middle back, hazards, bunkers, a yardage shot tracker, score tracker, etc, on the device. There's also the Bushnell companion app that syncs to your phone via Bluetooth and gives you visual layouts, score card, and some other stuff I don't use. Incredibly accurate to the inch.
You have totally loaded him up with great gifts! We're dying to see that 3-wood cover. ;)
I have a GolfBuddy watch that I REALLY enjoy using. Great features, display, and battery life without breaking the bank. Also available at Cosco for a cheaper price if you have a membership.
This is the rangefinder I use with no regrets. Works fabulously tested next to my buddy's $400 laser. The rangefinder doesn't get used as much as it used to since I got my watch. Using both is almost overkill. Rangefinder wins on accuracy "to the stick" but you can't always "see" it. For me, the watch wins out of convenience (but for some situations I shoot the laser for exactness).
Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving
I use an older version of the Bushnell phantom. Cheaper / less time consuming than a good range finder. Gives me a quick front middle back number. Helped me greatly. My only complaint is the battery seems to drain even when you turn it off so you have to be really on top of keeping it charged. I’m sure the newer versions have improved this.

Your link has it at $199.
I was looking earlier and saw it for $129 https://www.amazon.com/Game-Golf-Digital-Tracking-System/dp/B00JDZWQZK/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=TQSKWHJC7K5QHRKM2887
This is already for sale at $250 ($50 off) on Amazon.
If you don't feel like waiting, look into Arccos, otherwise you can wait around for reviews to come out for Game Golf Live. Like I said, mine is supposed to ship Nov. 16 so I am hoping to have it around Thanksgiving. I will gladly post a review of it if the weather in the Northeast cooperates around that time.
I use my GolfBuddy GPS for that. Won it in a golf outing for closest to the pin and works like a charm.
Unless your dad is a very atypical 70 year old, this is exactly what he needs. No fiddling required and all the info you really need.
Arccos for $229.99
Game Golf for $139.99
Amazon has also a golf buddy GPS as daily deal for under 60. link
I use this http://www.amazon.com/Golf-Buddy-GolfBuddy-Voice-GPS/dp/B00S2SC9V0 which is a GPS but also allows you to set a start and end point while you're out on the course, to see how far your shot was
