One thing you could consider is a golf net. You can do a lot of specific form work with just a camera and a net set up on a bit of concrete/grass/asphalt somewhere, and it takes way less space.
The tectectec on Amazon has worked very well for me for multiple years. It’s $150. I got it on sale at some point for $125. It is within a yard or my friends $400 Bushnell.

I got this one on amazon on sale for $125. My friends have $400 bushnells and mine is within a yard of theirs every time.
Here's a budget rangefinder. Wosports 800 yard with slope. Normal 'sale' price is about $95. Currently at $87. You can turn the slope function off. Reviews are mixed but mine and my buddy's have worked fine.

I bought this one expecting it to be junk, but it’s as accurate as my friends who spent almost $300.
They can get out of control with prices but I found a killer one that I’ve put up against my buddies Bushnell and it’s within a yard. I just pulled it up and it’s on sale now too...I paid $150 or something and now it’s $80 WITH slope.

I hear what everyone is saying, I’ll counter a little and say get whatever is gonna get you out there the quickest. Unless you’re worried about others opinions, the bag and extra clubs alone probably worth it. You’re not gonna find a new bag for much cheaper than 100-120$. If you’re lucky you might find a used one/used set that comes with one, but that alone eats into a chunk of your funds. You’re basically left with 100$ to fill the rest of your kit out vs what you’d get with the set.
This gets you out there and let’s you keep an eye on the used market to slowly replace clubs in the bag. Then you sell those off on Facebook for like 75$-125$ and you’ve given yourself the luxury of having a set to play immediately and allowed yourself time to make good used purchases. Just my opinion

Get the PuttOut putt trainer.
I love mine and have gotten three as gifts for different golfers.
It's just a well-designed putt returner that gives realistic feedback. It's small and compact, so you can just plot it down wherever and get some practice in. I usually take it with me when I travel.
$33 on amazon. IIRC they used to be more like $25-$28, so maybe shop around?

This one worked great for me all summer, I got one for my father last Father’s Day and it worked great so then I bought myself one.
ATM, not on sale. I have been keeping an eye on them. I'd say it's a great deal if they go under $85 soon. More budget than quality. A friend swears by his.

I was checking out some sets on Amazon and some of them go for $200-400.
Example. It has great reviews but I'm aware getting a good set shouldn't be inexpensive, and this feels like these clubs might fall apart on me. I hate to pick your brain here, but what do you think of those? For a beginner, how much should I be looking to spend for a complete set? I want a set that'll last until I'm ready to upgrade.
Just spend 100 bucks and buy this. Got my father one for Father’s Day and it’s worked great so far.
Also, the US Handicap app is good too (not free, but it’s like 30 bucks a year and you can enter in hole by hole and they give you your handicap.)
