Golf gloves are the way to go, with excellent breathability and the perfect amount of padding.
The ones I use have small slits between each finger and the fingers themselves are ventilated with very small holes.
Back in July, I got a notice from Amazon about a $10 gift certificate that I needed to use. I looked around at golf gloves and figured I give this one a chance.
I've had it for about 16 rounds and it still isn't showing any wear. On top of that, it doesn't seem to be affected by the humidity or sweaty hands (which is what it touts, probably really good for rainy days too). Not only do I really like it, when mine is finally done, I will definitely buy again, only $7.99.
Every leather glove I've owned, from Footjoy to Titleist and other brands 100% eventually fail at the end of the thumb and/or outside palm area. This synthetic is great, oh and when you forget and hold the cup with your gloved hand while you press a water button on a cooler with the other, getting the glove wet doesn't seem to make any difference.
~$8.00 to $80 (if you're very particular). I had an $8.00 gift certificate at Amazon so I spent it on this glove.
It's all I buy now. A decent leather glove will last me probably 15 rounds give or take. This cheap, works great in wet or humid conditions lasts me 30+.
Also cool to have a black glove. Don't know why, I just like it.
I've tried a lot of different gloves. I've found I really like the black gloves. They also tend to be less expensive because they're not real leather. Both Callaway and FootJoy have versions. They don't show the grime as much as the white, which get gross looking surprisingly quick (I wipe down my grips regularly).
FootJoy Men's WeatherSof 2-Pack.
Bought it last May, still haven’t worn out the first one. I’ve played almost 100 rounds of golf since then. It’s just starting to show some holes. Would definitely buy again, but I still have the 2nd one from that pack brand new sitting in my bag.
Every time this question gets asked, I answer:
They’re super comfortable. They’re one size fits all, which seems too good to be true until you try it on, but it’s not. My teenage daughters and I both wear them comfortably. They last forever. I’ve been wearing one since September and there is no sign of wear and tear. It’s still like new. I have no affiliation with the company except that I’m a paying customer.
For me, it’s the Zero Friction gloves. They’re comfy. It’s hard to believe but they’re one size fits all (my teenage daughters and I can wear the same exact glove). They last forever. They offer the standard colors as well as some fun ones.
Hey Ive been biting and picking at my entire fingers and the palm of my hands for a few years now and I’ve actually been using golf gloves all day every day and it’s really helped me stop the picking and helped with the healing process. The gloves are quite snug and aren’t too bulky making them ideal for every day tasks, and an added bonus is that they work flawlessly with electronics like phone screens. These are the very best for dermatophagia in my opinion. Here’s a link to them. I hope this helps:

I've been using THIS ONE for a while now. It's the only one that ive found that will last more than 5 rounds for me.

I love the one-size fits all synthetics. It "fits like a glove" and it doesn't get all "crunchy" in my bag like leather gloves. They don't last forever like higher quality gloves, but for 2 for $20, they do just fine.
Well, didn’t expect this entire post to be about a black, Callaway, glove but since that’s all anyone seems interested in, here’s the link to those with serial killer taste like myself. Lol
Best I have used are from ball golf. Footjoy Wintersof gloves. Tons of size options. Grippy and warm. Also they last. I have used mine for at least two winters.

Footjoy sciflex and stasoft I've used mostly.
Currently using this Puma Form Stripe. because its blue/white and matches my golf bag.
I share the same affliction for super sweaty hands and these gloves have ended all of my grip problems. I have tried every brand out there including those made specifically for playing in the rain and nothing compares to the Hirzls.
I may very well be wrong, but I would guess baseball glove conditioner like this would work also.
