I haven't been training as much as you but I've been using a Pink Rhino Laser Catridge and the G-Sight Laser Training Pro app (iTunes or Google Play Store). and have been getting some better results myself using the shot timer in the app. I went with this solution as it was the cheapest.

2nd vote for the Romeo 5 if you can find it at $100 or below on eBay with a coupon. Oyahsales, or whatever the eBay company with the good price is called, seems to have caught on and raised their price by a few bucks to offset the frequent coupons.

If not, just keep an eye on gundeals.

I've also got a couple TRS-25s, but since you'll need a pic rail riser and that seems to mean shitty UTG risers, I don't really feel they're worth it.

I'd recommend them. Just pick a spot on the wall like an outlet and you can get some good practice in, especially getting familiar with the gun and bring on target quickly from a draw. Plus it's just fun if you're sitting there watching TV or something. This is the one I have and have had no issues.

No experience with this particular optic, but there is a thread on arfcom for a similar model from Field sport, which sells on Amazon for ~$20. I'm thinking that one is going to be my go-to range toy/.22/loaner scope.

The TRS-25 is about as cheap as I'd go for something I'm going to stick on a 'real' caliber. If you're just going to use it on a .22 rifle, there's plenty of stuff on Amazon (NCStar, FireField, etc.) that'll likely work fine.

This is the OEM model that only comes with the high mount. It does not come with the low mount or the slick box. You can get that one on Amazon for a couple bucks more.

Burris has a $40 mail-in rebate going on. So I bought a TRS-25 off Amazon for about $60 shipped. It's already on my 10/22 and it seems pretty nice. And for $20 it seems like a steal. Price has gone up on Amazon by about $10 since then, but $30 is still a good price IMO.

Found myself cooped-up one night last week with a laptop and a bottle of bourbon. This was all the motivation I needed to finally order the .22 conversion kit I've been ~~wanting~~ needing. It will be a 2-3 month wait for a kit that costs more than most off-the-shelf .22 pistols. I'll be getting mags to try it with both a single and a double-stack gun. If you’re planning on attaching and removing your sights multiple times or you have several jobs you’re planning on doing, you might want to pick up your own sight pusher. About a week ago I bought and used a sight pusher to install some Trijicon Suppressor Height Sights for my 17L.

If you’re curious, this is what I had used to install them. Just a matter of if you feel like you’re gonna have to remove them for a future event or etc.

The no-rise version of the TRS-25 is ~~currently $39 on Amazon~~ no longer the price I was seeing...

You'll often see the TRS-25s on sale for $35-$40 ish (I grabbed one last week @ $35 for my new 9mm upper). Add in a .83" riser for ~$10 and you're still ahead of buying the taller version.

I have the ATG Vism NcStar kit thing and it works really well. I've used it on 3 Glocks and 3 P80 kits. Easy to use. It even came with a nice case. Hard to beat for $50.
