I just bought adjustable straps for my rings (https://www.amazon.com/Double-Circle-Replacement-Straps-Gymnastic/dp/B07CWV2STB/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=rings+straps+adjustable&qid=1573338214&sr=8-1). So much better than the cam buckle types. No messy straps and perfect length between different exercises!
I wish I had gotten numbered straps like these:

Saves time by making adjustments a breeze. I'm hoping Santa brings me a set . . .
I boulder around three times a week and use this chalk from amazon: GSC Gym Chalk - 1lb https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000BYSM0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AFdwAbGPJ10KK
And I never think to myself, "My chalk is really limiting me." Maybe I would be climbing V12s instead of V7/8s if I would just use specific climbing chalk, but I kinda doubt it. (I use other people's chalk often enough and never find it any more helpful...)
And a pound of chalk lasts a looooong time.
I use these while I'm sitting in drive-thru lines. It helps me with stress when the lines are going slow. Or sometimes as I'm driving too. I just bang out a hundred on each hand.
If your pull-up bar can handle hanging rings, then all you are missing is somewhere for dips and the rings themselves. You could buy a dip station like that (the rings on it are pointless, imho), or use something else (e.g chairs, tables) but they might only be temporary in case you started do weighted dips.
Otherwise, a power tower does it all, if you have the space. You can do pullups and dips on it. As well as hang rings to do ring support, dips later, rows, ring push-ups.
Get a set of wooden rings at least. Amazon has loads. I have two sets of these, for instance.
Frictions Lab is a waste of money. I found 1lb of gym chalk on Amazon for $12 and it's been working just fine for me: https://www.amazon.com/GSC-PGE4360X-Gym-Chalk-1lb/dp/B0000BYSM0
Honestly, I just purchased a pound of magnesium carbonate on amazon. I haven't heard of a difference in chalk worth the pricepoint yet - though I'm always open to evidence proving otherwise.

Thanks! I think just eating better was key, Also just getting better at doing the exercises properly really helped me. not fancy rings
Depending on how high you want to hang them, I really like getting separate gymnastics rings of your choice, and the carabiner style straps that I’ll link.
Double Circle Quick Adjust Numbered Straps for Gymnastic Rings - Carabiner Hook System and Exercise Videos Guide for Full Body Workout, Crossfit, and Home Gym (Straps Only) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CWV2STB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_73.3Fb89K444Z
These are fantastic and very sturdy
I'm not an expert, but I was in a similar situation to you (diamond push-ups too easy), so I recently bought some rings. I spent $35 on these Titan wood rings on amazon, and I'm really happy with them. Using them for the recommended routine (dips, push ups), I have already seen and felt a noticeable difference in my chest and arms.
I've read about chalk so many times but... I was dense and... didn't do anything about it. My buddy made it so easy to try and ... it worked for me.
I've read about liquid chalk too in here, I tried the old fashioned one and that's what I got on Amazon. This is what I got, 1lbs will be plenty for my entire lifting career (LOL), I plan on giving some away to people who ask.
Instead of buying a dip attachment, buy a pair of gymnastic rings on Amazon for 30-40 dollars. Rings would allow you to do pull ups as well as some other exercises. It is likely cheaper. A dip attachment for your rack will certainly be needed as you'll likely be dipping 2-3 plates. If you're not into weighted dips, consider it as an option.
Here's an example:
https://www.amazon.com/Diameter-Gymnastics-Rings-Buckle-Straps/dp/B00SAEPY72/ref=sr_1_4?
It's gymnastic chalk: https://www.amazon.ca/GSC-PGE4360X-Gym-Chalk-Pound/dp/B0000BYSM0
Looks like this, in a weight lifting context: https://www.roguecanada.ca/gear-accessories/gym-essentials/chalk
Basically imagine regular "black board chalk" like at school, but in powder form. They add stuff to it to make it better for sports (or maybe it's different chalk to, I actually don't know what chalk really is, haha.) You can also get liquid stuff which is probably like an alcohol based product, which dries off super fast then it leaves a very perfect layer of chalk on your hands.

Recommended routine in the side bar and a pair of rings are all you need. I bought these rings on Amazon and like them a lot
I have no experience with Rapid Rings, but I have these rings. I roll up the rings like in the last pic above the video, except I do it tighter. Then I place both straps in a small bag and put that big within the rings. You can just use the bag it comes in as well. Takes 1 to 2 minutes to roll the straps up and I think this actually takes up less space than the Rapid rings.
Can a daily set until failure with a grip trainer Be enough to help me build strenght and a little size on my forearms/wrists? I am trying to make it less uncomfortable doing push-ups.
something like one of these?
thank you
relapsing is an opportunity to reflect and think of what you can do to maintain your discipline next time. its not failure. its a chance at growth.
ask yourself :
what went wrong? what was on your mind?
do you think porn blockers will help you ? cause those exist.
do you need more hobbies or things to do to burn time and energy?
do you possibly need an accountability partner ?
etc etc etc

I have the same problem, my legs can handle so much more weight than my arms can hang onto. Bringing an extra towel to dry my hands on days we're doing heavier lifts (bc my hands get sweaty af) and using a spring grip to work on grip strength outside the studio has really helped. Don't forget to stretch your hands and forearms either!
I bought these from Amazon. One for home, one for my office.

I have the Vulkens. They’re useable, but not without flaws. The major issue is that the stitching that forms the orange lines between each number has a low quality finish. There are no concerns from a safety point of view - it’s not going to fail - but there are some sharp edges and they scratch my arms when doing push exercises.
The rings themselves are again ‘fine’, but relatively cheap wood. I look after my kit, and these show some wear just from use and being in my bag. Not really a problem… as I say, they’re ‘fine’.
The other accessories were a waste for me - I never use them.
I do like the carabiner system. If you’re changing the height frequently, it is slightly quicker. I do a lot of super sets, so it suits me. It has to be used on a straight bar though - if you ever think you might want to hang your rings from something uneven like a tree, you need the cam buckle strap to get them level.
When I bought mine, the Double Circle rings were not available in the UK. If I were purchasing now, I’d be curious whether any of the community have an opinion on them:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gymnastic-Competition-Straps-Double-Circle/dp/B076X32LFY
I do have a set of cam buckle straps too, and I ultimately got a bit fed up with them not because they were cumbersome to use, but because the numbers were wearing off. That problem may not apply to the brand you’ve linked.
I also have both 28mm and 32mm rings. 32mm are slightly easier for push, 28mm slightly easier for pull. I think you’ll mostly get used to what you have. I have a very mild preference for the 28mm, as I can hold a false grip better with them.
I don’t do all the different blocks, but when I was learning to do epidurals, one anesthesiologist gave me an article about how many times you had to perform a procedure before you became proficient and it was literally over 1000 times.
Also, with the hand ventilating, it can be difficult because you have to have similar strength in your non dominant hand as you have in your dominant hand. You can get a hand strengthener and build up the strength in both hands. Something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/KDG-Strengthener-Adjustable-Resistance-Exerciser,Grip/dp/B087X35JJ8/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1Z0GA8PN2ZJ1&keywords=hand+strengthener&qid=1657959713&sprefix=Hand+stre%2Caps%2C99&sr=8-6
I've been using the 130 lbs. adjustable resistance gripper from amazon every day for the past month. I'm up to max resistance doing 300+ reps a day (at least 3 sets of 25 on each hand, another set if my arms don't feel exhausted yet, twice a day) pretty comfortably. Where should I go next? Should I change my routine or move up in weight? I'd prefer something adjustable and handheld so I don't have to spend hundreds on grip strengtheners and can train during work-from-home downtime.
I used Pacearth rings, very reliable and only $40. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/PACEARTH-Gymnastics-Adjustable-Non-Slip-Training/dp/B07CGCD7JH/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?c=ts&keywords=Gymnastics+Rings&qid=1648408740&s=sports-and-fitness&sr=1-2-spons&ts_id=3412221&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlw...
Didn't mean to strain your finger scrolling.
This will help keep your hands strong and increase your grip.
Do grip strengtheners like these help with developing a tighter grip for deadlifts? I struggle to keep the bar held without the use of straps, and I additionally struggle with the lateral pull down machine at my gym with weights that I know I am able to pull but my fingers slip/can't hold.
If these are useful, any recommended exercises with them? Or just a lot of reps at varying "weights"?
These are the best ones on Amazon. Do they fit the criteria? I have no knowledge yet on rings!

Linchpin member here, easy solution is an over the door pull up bar and a pair of rings off Amazon for $42. I have these rings and they’ve held up great for 2 years
