OP here.
I added some water-storing crystals to this Northshore Supreme. AMAZING.
I posted a lil while back a tutorial I found on Tumblr on how to make diapers more absorbent and bulky. I got a couple comments about how it might irritate skin, so I didn't try it.
I saw another poster here on Reddit have a bag of the crystals with his stash and I inquired about it. He said that he had good luck with adding crystals.
So I cut a tiny hole (like less than one centimeter) on the inside back, just above the padding. I used a funnel to pour the crystals into the spot between the liner and plastic. I didn't really know how much to put in, maybe half cup? Then folded it taco-style and tried to distribute throughout, but due to the expansion that part doesn't really matter.
Anyway, it was AMAZING. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
I wore it for ~14-15 hours, didn't experience any issues with skin irritation or other problems.
HOWEVER, I did experience the best feeling I've probably had. It was SO bulky, SO squishy, SO heavy.
I ordered 5 more packages of the crystals to mod my diapers now.

Pro Tip: Go to Farm and Fleet and buy Permethrin. Add 2 oz in a garden sprayer and fill the rest of the way with water. Set to a fairly high dial setting and spray your grass, trees, bushes, mulch, etc. Within 2 hours you will have no mosquitos, and it lasts for a week or two. (You'll also get rid of ticks as a bonus.) This is safe for dogs, but toxic for cats. (Sorry Reddit.) Don't let kids play in the yard until it's dry.
It’s a Root Farm LED grow light! I got it on a clearance sale at my job luckily but Amazon and EBay have them! It’s a great light with barely any heat output.

Not with an LED grow lamp. They run nice and cool and do not take up too much energy. I run mine for about 15 hours a day. I'm using this one I purchased on Amazon: Root Farm 10101-10135-1... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SG33M2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I've used the Precipitube for many years; I've tried other humidification systems but haven't found anything else that works better (aside from humidifying your room or house) - I only use a little bleach if the crystals are visibly turning black, and I don't put the tube back into my case without wiping it and making sure it's dry.
The crystals hold moisture well enough that I've never had issues with the tube dripping, and I use mine in a relatively expensive case (an Accord); I have a friend who uses a Precipitube in a Gewa Idea (which has the same interior as the Air) without any problems. I have other friends who use them in their Riboni, Musafia, Negri, and other premium cases, and standard cases like Bobelocks and Bams - nobody has ever had any issues.
If the crystals seem too far gone to fix with bleach, I replace them - these seem to be the same as what they use, and $9 gets you enough for a lifetime, even if you share with friends.
Me too, I used Ortho Nutsedge killer and it browned all grass. Makes me wonder if my lawn is mostly nutsedge then.
This stuff will take care of it. Make sure you use it with their "dial n spray" thing. It tells you how to do everything and is very quick to apply. Apply it once and it will take about 2 weeks for 80-90% of it to die off. Then apply it a second time and it will be gone. It will still come back the following year, but just do the same thing again and it will solve the problem. Make sure you use it with the "dial n spray" thing. It tells you how to do everything and is very quick to apply. I do this every year on my lawn, usually in August/Sept.
You mean this? https://www.amazon.ca/Scotts-Company-Osmocote-274850-Smart-Release/dp/B00GTDGMHC
Then no that's not safe for snails, please don't use it.
Soil for snails should be additive and fertilizer free. This product is advertised as plant food, which means it definitely has additives and likely fertilizers too.
Tbh the Ortho hose end sprayer stuff will knock it out without much problem.
Honestly, the only way to actually stop this stuff is with a herbicide. Getting rid of it by pulling isn't going to work as this stuff is very stubborn.
Something like this will do it: https://smile.amazon.com/Ortho-Chickweed-Clover-Concentrate-16-Ounce/dp/B00F4JS3SS/ref=psdc_3480709011_t2_B00QJTHLHG
I know this sub is pretty against recommending herbicides, but for scenarios like this I think it can be justified. If you actually do want to get rid of this out of your yard, a spray is basically the only way to do it.
You have two options if you want to get rid of it:
My last house had this stuff and it was stubborn. I wish I had sprayed it before it spread as much as did.
If you actually want to get rid of it you'll pretty much need to user a herbicide. This is pretty stubborn stuff to get rid of.

Don't know if you're still having issues or your remote control Anaconda worked but a simple solution is something called the Scarecrow. It's a simple device that hooks up to your garden hose and sprays out a jet of water when it detects motion. You place a couple pie pans nearby it and when the water strikes the pie pan The Flash and the noise will keep any animal away. The garden scarecrow. Battery operated so can be by your pool and the worst thing is maybe your deck gets a little bit wet oh, as if that's really a problem. Best of luck

No - triclopyr is best for clover. 24D will work as well. I’d look for ortho CCO OrthoWeedBGonChickweed,Clover&OxalisKillerforLawnsConcentrate,16oz.
Can you water with the Ortho Dial & Spray (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0071D0EZK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) with nutrients? So for example I use Canna terra...could I just add the terra to the dial and spray and water my plants like that?
That doesn’t sound right - it’s a concentrate. One bottle should last you years. If you can’t find the right ratio, use copper fungicide instead. You can buy an attachment for the hose where it will automatically mix the water to concentrate correctly. I wouldn’t suggest using a bucket or mixing outside of this.
And agrifos/garden phos, if it’s still the same formula just breaks down into phosphate (good for roots). So, it should be safe for blueberry’s.
… but, like I said, right now isn’t the best time to be applying this. It’d be better if everything wasn’t dormant. Still, it’s worth a shot. That’s a sizable tree. If the tree is actually small and the photo just made it look big - it’s better to get another tree.
Scotts Elite doesn't suffer the same issues as their other ones. It was 50% on Amazon, but price has crept back up a bit
Its great light but not for that price. I have it and love it. It only cost me $75.00 Root Farm All-Purpose LED Grow Light, 45W - Broad Spectrum Grow Lamp, For Indoor Hydroponic Plants, Energy Efficient https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SG33M2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_QR9KVS7YF2113S87PJD5
Well they are in the Aerogarden Harvest Elite. But also I got the Aerogarden Grow Light — it works as a stand at adjustable height (not that tall) or it has hooks for hanging at whatever height. It’s very basis and no light switch— you have to unplug it manually every day. It’s also very very good at burning some plants even from farther away than what they recommend. But, overall if you hang it at least 6-7” away from hardly leaf plants and 10-15” away from tender ones - you get very good growth.
They are actually on sale now. I think they ripped off another company that sells identical one in silver (I only got the Aerogarden one because I like black lol)
Here are the links to both of them: $75 now ($30 off) — https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SG33M2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_dl_GMHRN6VQ06MRZDC0PEZ9

Use Garlon spray at 2x - 3x strength to handle the poison ivy. Respray in 2 weeks if not dead.
I use Ortho Poison Ivy Tough Brush Killer in the 32 Oz. concentrate bottle from Home Depot. Do NOT use the gallon jug with the sprayer on it. It's 9 times weaker.
This is what I use. https://www.amazon.com/Ortho-Poison-Tough-Brush-Killer/dp/B00AZSPLTM
You can find it at local yard supply stores, Home Depot and Walmart. Remember to only get the 32 Oz. bottle.
Ever try mixing this into the subsstrate to retain moisture. Miracle-grow water storing Crystals https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042YYVYG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_VKWAH4RSKWP5EZ66ZFMD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The most popular is probably from Miracle-Gro.
https://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Gro-Water-Storing-Crystals-12-Ounce/dp/B0042YYVYG
You should definitely have them in your country in some local gardening store. They're usually called something like "water storing gel" or "water storing crystals".
Well, my wife got anxious and found an Ortho Nutsedge killer and applied it. Found out a few days after I had my tonsils removed (laid up for a bit recovering) and this is what’s happening. She got this
Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray, 32oz https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B008RH98PQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FBBJFKX3RQ46RCP9KP7R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So I ordered the other stuff and idk what to do from this point. Kinda a hot mess of a few days
This was a very comprehensive reply and I appreciate it! I’m glad to hear that the soaking was probably not the issue!
What you might be seeing on that right leave is cat hair 😸 lol because I noticed it as soon as I posted the picture and gave the leaves a good wipe down.
I have Miracle-Gro Ready-To-Use Orchid Plant Food Mist for fertilizer and honestly I’ve read so many horror stories on fertilizer and MiracleGro that I’ve been holding off on it, but I was totally going to do it my last watering but i got distracted when I realized they were soaking for too long and forgot to. I wish I could go back a week and do it over again and save the poor leaf but
I’ll probably repot either today or tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I’m pretty nervous as this is my first orchid repot. This is the first group of orchids I’ve kept alive after blooms dropped and I don’t wanna mess it up. He’s the smallest mini phal I’ve ever found so I’d like to keep him and make him healthy and see him bloom again and I know I need to repot him to do that but im scared I’ll funk it up and kill him, haha.
I’ve gotten a ton of nutsedge in my Bermuda. I use ortho nutsedge ready to spray. It works pretty good if you’re patient with it. Also I find it a lot easier to pick it out with root if the ground is wet and the grass is slightly taller. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008RH98PQ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_N5Y5PMJPQTW0VZFX0138?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have seen people use them but I don’t trust them personally because of possible additives and dyes. This is what I normally use. One bag with last you forever Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals, 12-Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042YYVYG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_BYC5WCM6NX72R11F0X14?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I used this product and it killed it. Don't think there is anything special about this weed other than it being everywhere so any weed killer should work. Just be cautious if you have new seed down
