I would be over the moon about it if I were your GF. You sound like a sweet guy. Consider getting a Sunbeam heating pad. Preferably made of fabric and not plastic/with a cover. As a regular heating pad user, they make a difference. This is the one that I use for any back/abdominal pain. If you get it on amazon you can attach a cute little note to it as a surprise and send it directly to her.
If you're concerned for waste, I really enjoy clickheat I use these for hiking. You boil them and then they be reused again. They last around 30ish minutes once they are clicked.

I can recommend this one.

It's the only type of "migraine hat" (as I call them) that I've tried. It has really helped me. On occasion it will even stop a migraine in its tracks before it takes hold. I put my migraine hat on my head, an ice pack on the back of the neck, a heating pad on the stomach and I am off to the races.
The cap is designed so that you can pull it down over your eyes, which I find very helpful as I get a lot of pain there. But I do often wear it after the ice has warmed up because the cap is snug enough to give provide a slight pressure that also gives me some relief.
The only thing to say is that the ice warms up rather quickly, probably because the packs are flush against your skin continuously. Your post has reminded me that I've been meaning to order a second one for this reason, so I just did.
Good luck!
Use a wheat pack heat pad, just heat in microwave.
You can also get resettable heat packs with a metal disc in them you click then boil them to reset. Here is a sample of the resettable ones.
I bought regular heating pad from Amazon as well and it works wonders too! I wonder if infrared makes a bigger difference? This is the one I bought regular shmegular heating pad
For sure. I found it on Amazon, I think based on a recommendation from here. I dont pull it all the way down over my eyes but you could if you wanted to Headache and Migraine Relief Cap - A Headache Ice Mask or Hat Used for Migraines and Tension Headache Relief. Yes! I couldn’t find the exact ice pack I use but this is very close. It’s nice because it comes with two ice packs so you can switch them out. I used it while driving cross country since I get migraines while I drive. It was a life saver.
For my neck, I found this at Target. It really helps with the tension I get in my neck and shoulders. The one I have smells like lavender when heated up, which is a pro and a con depending on the migraine.
I hope that helps!
You're very welcome.
And those patches will work just fine. I'm not sure where exactly you're located, but something like this can be used forever, essentially.
Just FYI, there are reusable ones that are much better for sustainability and work just as well :)

Take rizatriptan and excederin migraine
drink a monster (rehab kind if I can get it)
grab my headache hat I got on Amazon
listen to this in headphones
drink plenty of water
I can’t do internal ibuprofen either. Have you tried just getting a heat wrap/heating pad? Are use mine so often. Got it off of Amazon worth every penny. I also use hot or cold rock sauce (same company as rock tape). Which is also sold on Amazon. The heat or cold usually last about an hour or so depending on the area. Little bit cheaper than getting the the disposable wraps.

this ice pack is really for ice and heat for tmj/facial muscles!
If my stomach is bothering me then I'll sit on the couch or lay on my back with the pad on my belly or chest, just whatever helps the pain. But yeah my back was giving me all sorts of trouble, probably from tensing it and rolling around, not sleeping doesn't help. You should absolutely buy the heating pad for your back, there's just not really any good reason not to have one. This is the one I just picked up on Amazon for under 15 bucks and I like it so far, I haven't used the sponge to try a wet heat yet. But your back is definitely going to thank you for this, also if you haven't tried a foam roller I would recommend one of those as well to help you stretch, my back cracks like a machine gun when I get on that bastard lol.
I use these. They are awesome. It may look silly but I don’t have a migraine!

Ooh that long cold pack sounds heavenly. I finally gave in and bought a Headache Hat, but I've amassed a big collection of smaller ones so I never have to wait for one to freeze. That long one sounds like it would be a nice addition.
Hello!!! I’ve got the same spots for pain and also feel they are all connected. I started physical therapy last week and apparently my posture is horrendous which i knew but ignored lol. I’m pretty much in a “c” shape at all times.
I have two heating pads that i use at the same time to hit multiple areas.
I also just got this hammock chair and have been living in it.
I am in the medical marijuana program for my state and have found it to be helpful for pain relief
Also have gel ice packs

This is it! The cold feels great, but even once it goes room temp, the pressure alone is really soothing. If I pull it down to just above my eyes, two of the sections sit right on my temples and it feels amazing. I wish I could sleep in it but I’m paranoid about the weight of my head busting one of the sections open! I used to put frozen peas on my head too and this is SO MUCH better.
Store it in Tupperware, though - it’ll smell like your fridge if you don’t!
I use it every night to warm up my feet when I go to bed (it has an automatic shut-off after 2 hours). If my back is hurting, I'll have it there for ~20 minutes at a time. I don't use it on my stomach.
It's pretty small, maybe 2 feet long by 1 foot wide. I think what I have is a ten-year old version of this from Sunbeam.
I use one similar (down below) to this and like it.. just be sure to watch the packs closer in the microwave so they don’t burst. I like them super hot so I put them in for 30 seconds or so each but mainly until they START to inflate, then I take them out and sleep with it on

Ok I’m sucky at including links but I use this and love it, my mom recently had foot surgery too and I had her use it and it worked great for that as well
Here’s the one I currently use! It has both an auto 2 hour shut off and the option to leave it on indefinitely. I find that some days the top setting is way to hot and some days it’s not hot enough....but I can’t speak to if that’s just me or it it’s actually a fluctuating temperature. But overall it does it’s job! (and it’s fuzzy on the one side which is nice)
I bought two of these, they’re pretty good and I just alternate them so I always have a cold one to use. You can also pull this one down further to cover your eyes when light is irritating. This has worked way better than any medicine I’ve tried over the past 2 years: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DG2Z1NH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_Gdr1FbAY869SJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Really depends on the surgeon, but they'll typically just follow your lead and what you want. I had to get all 4 out, with 2 partially impacted on the bottom, and was originally petrified of being put under (anxiety), and the surgeon told me I could just do local anesthetic and be awake for the whole thing, but he said it would be very uncomfortable and would require ~30 shots of Novocaine. I ended up opting to be put under (IV sedation), and it was the best decision ever. Don't remember falling asleep, and next thing I knew I was waking up and heading home.
As for food, I'd recommend: ice cream (regular vanilla or something without pieces in it), mashed potatoes, jello, yogurt (no fruit pieces), pudding, etc. Typically by Day 5-6 you'll be able to have more solid foods. I was eating a Chipotle burrito bowl by Day 6 lol.
Also, highly recommend getting an ice/heat pack wrap for your head. It makes all the difference. I got THIS one from Amazon and it was awesome. Make sure you're doing ice for the first 2 days, 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off. Then on Day 3 onward, switch to heat. Also, you don't really need the painkillers after Day 1 (they make you constipated AF). Just stick to an Advil/Tylenol rotation every 4-6 hours and you'll be fine.
In terms of timing, to give you an idea, all 4 of my wisdom teeth (remember, I had 2 partially impacted ones that made it take longer) were removed within 40 minutes. But again, you don't realize the time passing when you're asleep, so to me it was like 5 minutes.
I don’t know how to link but I have the headache hat from amazon and it’s the only thing I use anymore. Lasts probably two hours? Maybe more? I have no sense of time with migraines. But ya nothing compares after having tried this
