I got this one or one very similar several years ago. Amazon has a big variety- including more durable bags in canvas or leather.
Hey that's good! And I always carry a plushie with me too! Y'know something I got that really helps when carrying around a stuffed animal or anything else is a leg bag. I have one and it's adjustable. :D

bring them downvotes over here
Yes. Conder. its reasonably priced, molled on there, two retention systems, 24 bucks, lotsa room, smaller version available. But since we're all inevitably going to get into 23 firefights come out with nothing more than a leg wound and have to crawl through 18 miles of dirt and mud if it dosent cost 200 bucks the companies can't sprinkle that magic gear worky good now dust over it so you will surely die when it just suddenly falls apart the moment you touch it.

Or go to the hardware store and get a cheap carabiner, just check the latch and make sure it doesn't have a gap that will regularly catch your belt loop and tear it.
Kinda handy to reach down by your side and be able to consistently hit the unlock button on your fob without digging in your pocket and working out which way it's oriented to hit the right button.
I think ITW is the company that created them but I could be wrong. Either way there’s a ton of cheaper knock-offs now to choose from if that was more your thing. Here’s some of the ITW ones on Amazon.
I have a shoulder bag loaded with all my essentials. I think it's this one. Maxpedition is a little pricey but great quality. I'm sure there are cheaper options. It hangs by the front door and I carry it ANY time I walk my dog.
In it I have:
I carried a bag similar to this bag on the last two trips that I took to Disney. Plenty of space for 2 adults living in a covid world. Enough room and pockets to carry 2 ponchos, a small spray sun screen, hand sanitizer, hand whipes, an insulated water bottle, some basic snacks, clean masks, glasses/sunglasses case, a bottle of Tylenol, etc. Big enough, but not too big to fit on the rides.
Plus, if you buy something too large to fit in the bag, it has a clip on the strap to hook a bag to.
Yes it’s Chinese yes it’s from Amazon. But it’s no different from one that cost me $14. A regular carabiner or grimloc works too but I like using what I listed
If youre talking a sling bag, my Maxpedition Sitka is always in the back of my car as a medical emergency bag. Also made for conceal and carry.
Edit: I will be honest, I find a single shoulder sling bag not the most comfortable for extended carrying times.
Here is the link for the belt itself on amazon:
Fairwin Tactical Belt, Military Style Webbing Riggers Web Belt Heavy-Duty Quick-Release Metal Buckle (Black, M - Waist 36"-42") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0734HBDYP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_m9YPDb7C7SGRA
I glued the CO2 cartridges on there and also a bit of craft foam around the cartridges for the black strip on them
They are pretty handy pouches. I've got a couple at home so I don't have to clean out my work one for house projects. I don't have their belt but I use something like this.
I highly suggest getting a couple extra belt clips. The clips themselves can be mounted with screws, so you can clip them to a workbench or wall. Very nice for storage or keeping them near by without having to be on you.
Usually a Hello Kitty backpack with pink sparkles.
EDIT: in all actuality, I can probably get most of this, save the big flashlights, in that Maxpedition Versapack. It's roomier than it looks.
Travel Bugs - I prefer the plain dog tags. My mother got me some large coins, which are nice, but I can't let them go.
Hiking/outdoor equipment - trek pole, muck boots, waders, rain suit, quality bug repellent, kayak, 4x4 Jeep.....
Bag for carrying your stuff - I have one similar to this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MTG35E/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_2_w
There are cheaper versions. Also stuff to go in it; hemostats, pens, flashlight, extendable mirror, pens, multi-tool, battery packs, zip ties, writing paper, pens, ziplock bags, Rite-in-Rain logbooks, tiny screwdriver, gloves, and lastly, pens.

Hmm stuff to carry. I think the main thing I would recommend would be a rain cover. I'm not sure how often you are outside with your backpack, but this is great to carry in case of rain. Went through three years of college with one, and for where I live it was plenty useful. Super lightweight and doesn't take up any space.
Also keep in mind that the GR1 doesn't come with a waist strap or a chest strap. Those are separate purchases. With a pack that small you probably won't need a waist strap unless you join their Rucking events.
If you're one who dislikes the backpack straps flapping all over the place, you can invest in web dominators. There are other types so if you are interested, be sure to look at the others as well. This probably won't make too much of a difference for a bag like the GR1 since you only have two straps to deal with. Personally, I have not invested into such a thing, but it always seemed like an appealing concept.
Still pretty new to all this stuff myself. I mostly just have knowledge from researching online rather than owning the products. Hope some of this helps!
Maxpedition Fatboy line of bags is probably good for you. I have used one for 4+ years now as a airplane carry on/summer road trip bag/hiking. It's extremely well made for the price.
Also, they have several variations of the bag for different purposes, be sure to pick the one that will be best for you. The one I linked you is just the one I have. Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001MTG35E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_v3wrzbWZ5T5J0
Nice review..I've owned lots of Kifaru gear over the years. As far as the webbing: don't cut it, or think twice (for resale value).
I highly recommend the ITW Web Dominators for keeping a tidy pack (or any with Molle webbing that is).
Looks like this would do the job for something small like a G26. Although I can't carry here in California, I might get one anyway to hold all my other stuff. More accessible than a backpack, and I don't like having to bring my tank bag if there's something valuable in it.
The first customer review for this little bag looks perfect, just have to buy a "regular" first aid kit to place into it, along with an IBD, small tourniquet, wound seal, etc.
Found it. It's Osprey Escapist 32. It's a great bag. It even has a pouch for extra shoes and a rain cover. Also make sure you pick these up! These are web dominators and helps keep your extra straps held down together (so they don't flap in the wind).
I use a ranger double rifle case (My 'MK12' has a 16" barrel for now, but there is an extra 2") I got from amazon. It fits my 20" M16 clone as well but with no extra room to spare with the flash hider installed. It fits 2 rifles, 2 pistols, and 12 mags easy. It has molle web (is that what its called?) on the outside to attach additional stuff as well. Its pretty durable also, with 2 rifles (roughly 20lbs, they are heavy ones), 2 handguns (4 lbs?) and 12 mags (roughly 12 lbs) 36 lbs total, the straps and zippers have held up very well after about a years use. I think I paid $50 on Amazon for it.
I know you said 36 or smaller for a gun bag but I've got one of these
If you're interested PM me your zip and we can work out a deal, since it's a big package the shipping might be prohibitive if we're far away.
This is absolutely brilliant...what we need is a rigger's belt so we can play with comfy pants (or no pants at all! Looking at you kyronami). Just put the belt on, rotate it so the clip is in the back, and VOILA!
I just ordered the following items: Blackhawk Rigger's Belt - $29.87 - http://www.amazon.com/BLACKHAWK-CQB-Riggers-Belt-Medium/dp/B0012REUIS?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00
Straight Gate Carabiner - $7.89 - http://www.amazon.com/Fusion-Contigua-Straight-Non-Locking-Carabiner/dp/B008KEDM3U?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00
Admittedly the quality of the belt and carabiner are probably overkill, but at least this way all my friends, family, and I will have better experiences with some legit cord management. $900 headset, the least I can do is make my getup look official.
They also sell cheaper rigger's belts down to about $8 each on Amazon that I'm sure could do the job as well.

I have noticed the seems are stretching a bit. I also have over filled it. To the point where I have to pinch to zip the zipper. It's been solid so far and its been a couple months.
Condor Rip-Away EMT Pouch (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003TPNG5E/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_O7xxwbR845X5A
That's the one for $18, I bought it back in 2012, had it mounted on several bags in different configurations. No real wear to speak of yet.
I sprayed the exterior with scotchgard a while back. And if some does get in, the plastic bags minimize damage and makes it easy to toss what gets damaged. But, knock on wood, I've never had water or condensation ruin anything in it.
I have a Maxpedition Sitka that I use for mine. Nice and compact, but I can still cram a lot in there with all the pockets. I put the Surface in the back pocket, which opens like a sleeve. Slides in and out pretty quick, and it's padded
I use one of these. Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack
It carries all my crap and looks vaguely military/EMT/whatever/but not like a purse. Built like a tank. Left mine on top my car and it flew off at 25mph onto asphalt with no damage to it or the contents.
There are a lot of models bigger and smaller than this one. I like this because it'll carry a 40oz uninsulated KleanKanteen or a 28oz insulated. Pretty heavy if you do though.
