Hey- landscaper here too. Have you considered using the string that has the titanium reinforcement? Stuff is fantastic. http://www.amazon.com/Husqvarna-639005102-Titanium-Trimmer-095-Inch/dp/B000N1XPMG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
I have one as well - I typically put a flexvolt on it
Note - I didn't like the feeder so "upgraded" to a Husqvarna
I love it. In fact it got me thinking if I could built something similar for my own. Than I thought well maybe they all ready have a one designed for it and of course they do.
When I did a search for my my mower. I also stumbled on one for the husky. You probably don't need it but I figured I would link it anyways.
Brushhog. Husqvarna has one with the dual handle settup on amazon. Got it last year and it's helped to clear allot of the overgrown understory in my woods. Comes with a grass blade and the string head. Get the aftermarket saw blade one I took out 4-5" trees with it. Edit: Whoops looks like they aren't carrying it anymore Husqvarna 223R 17-Inch 25cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Straight Shaft Brushcutter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004QHGCTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Ur4NAbYSPMCSC
If you want to spend a little more you can get this blower, http://www.amazon.com/Husqvarna-2-Cycle-Powered-Midsize-Compliant/dp/B002FU5SKU
I've recommended it in the past but any Stihl, husqy or Echo in that price range will be very similar.
This is what I have http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00280MVAC?ref_=cm_cr-mr-title
It was rated in the top 5 push mowers in 2014. I have about 1/3 of an acre and it does the job well. Starts in one or two pulls every time, cuts well and does not go though a lot of gas.
I did not get a self propelled mower because the cost more, I figured it was more parts that could break, and I like the exercise anyway.
