I dont think this is the sub you’re looking for...
However I’ve had issues with bugs before, get a good barrier like Ortho Home Defense Max Indoor Insect Barrier: With Extended Reach Comfort Wand, Pest Control, No Stains, Starts to Kill Ants, Roaches, Spiders, Fleas and Ticks Fast, 1 gal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WHJW3FR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_OG7FFbQEE0V4R and your problems will probably go away
Try diatomaceous eart. It'll be like they're walking on glass and shred them to hell.
The use of rodent friendly wires in cars and everywhere else isn't new. I lived in a house that lost power one winter due to a squirrel eating the insulation of the power line (it would not make that mistake again).
I would recommend getting ultrasonic rodent repellent devices (like these). And plug one or two in the garage, as well as anywhere else in your home you have seen signs of them.
Something else to consider, which will be cheaper for you, is to use diatomous earth. It basically is little razors for insects and causes them to dry out and die when they cross over it. It is safe for pets and humans

It's a bot that gives you price history on your link from Amazon. I think it only does direct links, it won't pick up on embedded links like this one here.
EDIT: NOPE IT LOOKS AT HYPERLINKS TOO.
Yeah, baking soda wouldn’t do anything for bed bugs. You might be thinking of diatomaceous earth, which would work on bed bugs and most insects.
A lot of people I know swear by the stuff. But take care when cleaning it up. I wouldn’t vacuum it with anything you want to use vacuum ANYTHING else. I’d mask up like I was sanding or doing any other task that creates a very fine dust... It is supposed to be terrible if it gets in your lungs, and if you vacuum it, your vacuum will probably eject the dust for months even after thorough cleaning and new filters... I can’t first hand vouch for its effectiveness against bed bugs, as it was verified with the exterminator that there were no bed bugs to begin with ... but I can tell you it’s a pain to clean up, especially if someone decides to run it through your vacuum after dusting the whole house with it...
Here's the 2 products I used last year to get rid of them: Raid Foaming Spray
First i vacuumed EVERYTHING. In my case they were on my headboard and I actually had to take the bedframe apart since these bastards were hiding in the tiniest crevices. Then I sprayed everything with the Raid Foaming Spray. After I let that dry I sprinkled the cimexa powder in every corner and around the bed. I suggest wearing mask. Also a Powder Duster makes it easier to apply. My understanding is that the chemicals in these 2 products are used by professional exterminators. I've seen some people suggest Diatomaceous Earth. The problem is that it takes many hours to kill the bug once the bug comes into contact with it. The Cimexa kills them much faster.
Had the same exact issue. Sprayed the living shit out of the baseboards, both inside and outside with this spray you can get on Amazon. I only ever see a living spider once every few months now.
I've read that: "Diatomaceous Earth" is an all-natural solution for solving a home's or yard's scorpion problem
I cannot recommend D-Con enough! Specifically, there is a "do not see the mouse you kill" trap which perfectly funnels the small bastards into a small hole and snaps on their necks. (Other traps may trigger without getting mice because they come from the sides; this prevents that.) Out of 10 traps I placed, this trap killed 7/8 mice. Just use a dab of peanut butter (like the size of a pea) and put along walls/baseboards. Link
Similarly, my dad had a box of D-Con poison in his garage, unopened and in a sealed bag. Out of all the things readily available (bird seed, cat food, etc.), they tore through two layers to eat the poison.
Let me know if you have questions! I recently eradicated the fuckers from my town home.
My mother bought a bunch of ultrasonic pest repellers, from Bell + Howell, so dumb. I was curious so I used my UMIK and it didn’t record anything (now, it’s only rated up to 20kHz, so can’t verify validity above that, but still).
Try temprid! Or this raid spray it has the same in ingredients raid foaming sprayas crossfire but it has to be this one not any of the other raid products
I killed 10 mice this winter in a span of about a week that took care of our problem (albeit, probably temporarily). I caught them all using the D-Con Ultra covered snap trap, I put it on a path I knew they were running (back of my kitchen counters!) and hearing those things snap was a dream. I used peanut butter bait.
This is what I used to get rid of them:
Raid Bed Bug Foaming Spray, For Indoor Use, Non-Staining, 16.5 Oz, Pack of 1 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07GXHV9VL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_41A1Z3P4K420GA6HMDAD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’d spray their nests, areas they might be coming from/ hiding, and a perimeter all the way around the side and top edge of the mattress and invite them to dinner! Also joints in wooden furniture and any furniture people were getting bit.
I’d say I went through 2-3 cans and the last one was for hitting any stragglers. Gave the last of it to my son’s mom for their apartment.
Years ago I moved into a place that had roaches. A flying one even woke me up one night cause it was so big I could hear it moving around. I got this that same night off Amazon and it worked great. Works for spiders too. I will say that when I first sprayed a bunch of spiders came out of hiding but after the second spray around my place it was rare to see them

Try this. It has worked for us. Good luck with it.
First of all, this is my favorite post of the month. Looking to rent a cat to get rid of mice is adorable and thoughtful solution. However, temporary
the best way I’ve used to get rid of mice is Decon! refillable trap
I have one in my basement, attic and kitchen floor and garage. The mice eat it and disappear\die somewhere else mostly. If you have mice now, they don’t just go away after the cat catches them. They come back year after year. Keeping these filled will keep the mice out of sight
Maybe they bought one of those scammy rat repelents and they actually expect it to work?
Harris Bed Bug Killer, Diatomaceous Earth (4lb with Duster Included Inside The Bag) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WD7RL6L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_JN4X8TV620YEXS7E2TJW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 works wonders
Put this stuff at the corners of your garage door and you won't have any more mice in the garage. Works great.

Ultrasonic Mouse Repellants. They work wonders.
At home growing up, we used to get mice entering through our garage all the time in the winter and fall. (You learn quickly never EVER use mouse poison, they will just die in your walls). We put one by our garage bay doors, and one at the entrance to the house from the garage. Since then, we haven't had mouse spotting's inside in years.
Apartment I am currently at, we had a few small pest problems. We had mice in the basement, a common shared hallway/storage area, and house centipedes everywhere in the house. (I never knew these ungodly creepy creatures even existed until one 30 legged creature flew across the bedroom floor under the bed, never to be seen again, and gave me a few nights of restless sleep). Between our neighbor and I we deployed 8 Ultrasonic Repellants in the house. Mice stopped pretty fast. Within a few months, no more centipedes as well.
It's non lethal, and deters them from entering an area. Great on mice, but repels insects and such too. Takes a bit to work, not instant, but the noise is bothersome for them so anything that enters the house does not like it and leaves pretty fast. This is the model I have, "Neatmaster Ultrasonic Pest Repeller Electronic Plug in " https://www.amazon.com/Neatmaster-Ultrasonic-Repeller-Electronic-Repellent/dp/B07ZH4LZYF/
Before you do this though, I would talk to the building owner or your facilities for sure and work on a plan together. These things work wonders though. These to keep them out of the area, and sealing up the area and boxes as tight as you can will do.
CB-80 flushing aerosol is a quick kill fog, if you can fill the void it'll work. Also this is like tempo dust, would likely be available anywhere. wont be as quick but should work due to abrasive properties. https://www.amazon.com/HARRIS-Diatomaceous-Crawling-Insect-Included/dp/B082LRSCV8/ref=sr\_1\_2\_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=diatomaceous+earth&qid=1633395910&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyWTFVSVZSM1JSV1lFJmVuY3...
*sorry for the Amazon link, but it shows both
Diatomaceous Earth is very helpful in these situations. The duster will spray a line into the cracks.
Diatomaceous Earth is just gritty shells to insects, but it's powder to humans, and I couldn't find it with this one, but it should be edible (I do not recommend, but people use it as a nutraceutical). The shells grind at the joints and exoskeletons of insects not allowing them to store water so they dry out. The insects will just avoid the layer of they can so you don't need a line, a literal dusting from the duster works.
Now, to solve your insect issue. Spray it in your cracks, spray under your bed between the box spring and under your cushions for bed bugs, line the exterior of your house, and feel free to use at will. Insects tend to come from damp areas of the yard/house, try to not allow them to stay damp. As an example, we had earwig issues, and it turns out there were colonies underneath a rock wall next to the home, and a campfire rock circle 25ft away.
Standing water was our issue: water meant bugs, flying bugs led to moths, moths led to spiders, spiders led to "daddy long leg" spiders that kill spiders. Fixing the water issue stopped the reproduction, and after a few months led to less bugs.
That sounds awful! I'm also super afraid of spiders and we get them in our basement every year. I plugged a few of those electronic pest repellant units into my wall and they emit a frequency that keeps out spiders pretty well (although some sneak through here and there but remarkably less than normal). They make a bunch of different brands and models but here's an example. Even if you use some poison or spray, plugging one or two of these in can help provide an extra layer of protection. Hope this helps!

This shit works I’ve used it. I tried rubbing alcohol with no results, and after extensive research I decided to try this powder. 3 months later they were gone.
