They’re meant for attaching things that can be easily removed. Used on shoes instead of laces for ex. I used something similar to this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0010HADEA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_K37mCb17EB04Q It’s hidden behind the battery, but allows me to detach it in case it became punctured
Iron-on patches aren't really the best for airsoft. Generally, the permanent nature of the patch, along with the need for open space to attach it, generally makes them less preferable to a velcro backed patch.
However, iron-on patches generally have a lot more variety (at least in my experience) and you can get a lot of different stuff that you generally don't see with a velcro backing.
The solution to that is this: Industrial Strength Velcro.
Basically, you measure your patch, trim the hook side of the velcro to fit inside the edge embroidery, and then stick the velcro directly to the patch.
Why magnets instead of these?
Get yourself some double-sided velcro wrap (example). You can sandwich it in the existing straps and then wrap it around the rack. It would basically replace the existing straps.
You could even make a small loop and secure the bag to the raised bar at the bottom of the picture.
You could even sew this same material to the bag if you want to make it permanent.
Yeah it’s secure, you can see in the pictures it has two elastic straps to hold it in. When in the closed position that phone isn’t going anywhere unless your going around doing this. But, if for some reason you are doing all that, slap a piece of this on your phone case and you’ll have the security you need 😎

About $6 on Amazon for a 12' roll. That would make 24 6" straps. For a price per strap of $0.26 each. That's hard to beat.
Yeah. With ubiquiti switch configure Synology in “balance-tcp” mode for bonding.
I bought those Velcro strips and cut them: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0010HADEA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NXXV0VKFYVZ7545YG7AP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yeah, Synology can communicate with UPS via special USB port and can gracefully shutdown itself when UPS battery is low.
Heavy duty Velcro worked fine but the standard stuff might not cut it. Actually the glue backing of the velcro came loose from my TV after about 6 months and I just JB welded it back onto the TV. It was very similar to this

so the velcro was a bit expensive. I paid $28 for 15ft, because im an asshole & didnt plan ahead. you can get the same velcro from amazon for $17.

That will take the paint off before anything else. I don't know if you'll get charged for damage, but it will strip the finish off of wood if you apply enough.
For medium strength, you can consider less than industrial level, or use a staple gun.
And like saltzgiv said, you can try http://www.amazon.com/Command-Medium-Picture-Hanging-Strips-12-Picture/dp/B00I2XSWSY command tape. It won't hold as well as industrial level hook and loop, but it will hold up lighter things pretty well.
I would say a fully covered LCD TV would hold from industrial, but a flag should hold by command strips on each corner. You just might need to use a tack into each strip and use rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces first.
I tried a whole bunch of suction cups (even threaded ones that take bolts) and then gave up and got some adhesive Velcro. You can get kinds that aren't that strong if you're looking for a mount that you're going to remove daily.
This velcro tape with the cobb mount works great. I've had this on my original V3 mount for a year and a half without failure.
This is what I used... looks like its unavailable right now, but "super sticky" in the description is very true. You should be able to find something comparable.
I did the same with an old office chair. I used these velcroish tabs to mount to mount sticks/throttle in three positions depending on the game and flight configuration.
Honest rating? Not to drag on ya here, but I do this type of thing for work, so I'm gonna be critical. That said, 5.5-6/10. Slightly above average, but nothing really pops out to me as "wow" that would get you above a 7.
The first thing that pops out to me is the clutter under the laptop. Look into some creative storage for those things you crammed under your laptop stand. Maybe some sort of hanging storage cubby? I'd definitely look into mounting that router up under your desk. I'm pretty sure those have a couple slots on the back side to slide onto screws, or you can use some 2" . As far as cables go, I'd look into buying correct length cables (please color match them), that way they're easier to manage. Snag some screw-mounted zip ties to clean up the hanging ones, and a thin roll of velcro to bundle cables together. A single bundle of cables looks much cleaner than a bunch of strands.
If you are going to start doing LED's I'd get rid of those towers and just use strips, like the back edge of the desk. Less is more with LEDs IMO. If you're attached to those tower LED's in the first picture, I agree with the others that have said, that the front facing LED's are too much, and would be better facing the wall. Aesthetically, that small, single picture isn't enough on the wall to balance out the setup, I'd look for a larger horizontal print (24"x36") or larger or even a 3-panel piece of art. Also, I like the gold accent the lamp brings, but is it supposed to be leaning over to the side like that? As a light source it needs to be about 8-12" higher to be not glaring in your face when you're sitting there. Overall, good starting point, I like the theme, and I actually like the purple backlight - it compliments the gold well. I'm excited to see the evolution of your work/play space!

This is a go to:
VELCRO Brand - Industrial Strength | Indoor & Outdoor Use | Superior Holding Power on Smooth Surfaces | Size 4ft x 2in | Tape, Black - Pack of 1, (Model: 90593) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IC2T/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_W75THX3Q81XE8CQ7G9J5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I initially used Velcro until I replaced the handguard with AI.
My battery is mounted different but I've used this stuff - double sided velcro that sticks to itself.
I don't unzip it I just slide it up and down over the frame/battery.
It's the red line I drew in this pic... Imgur
It always wiggled and jiggled a bit before. It's been the same piece of velcro for about 3 yrs now.
Here you go buddy:

I bet this would work I have used it for all types of stuff. Comes in a few different sizes too.

Stick the pokey hard Velcro side to underneath your pedals and it’ll grip nicely to the carpet. I have a mat I use these on that is a carpet like material. Couple strips will do it.
What kind of velcro and double-sided tape did you use? The double-sided tape in the image looks like it's meant for paper or cardboard. Pay attention to listings for what surfaces they're designed for & weight limits as not all adhesives are the same. Clean both surfaces and let dry before applying any adhesive/strips. Dirt and dust can interfere with the bonding agents.
Command strips will probably work on a power strip that small but to be sure get some industrial strength velcro. The velcro strips I linked are the ones I use for a much bigger power strip and rated for 10lbs/strip.
Adhesive that comes pre-applied on pretty much every brand of LED strips is awful. I've used 3M thin strips with much better results.

Ah, yeah I'd be sticking mine to plastic rather than felt. Something like this might work for you? I use this for a variety of things and its strong.

I use "one wrap" Velcro and it works well. One wrap is the kind of velcro where one side sticks to the other so you can just make a loop and attach it to itself.
Your local craft stores will let you buy it in various sizes for just a few bucks otherwise you can buy a roll on Amazon. Depending on how long your battery is you might want to use a wider velcro or multiple loops. I personally find 1.5" and two loops work well for me.
I found that a couple of these really helpful. They are basically the same as cable ties but it's a 12 foot roll for like $6 that you can cut down to whatever lengths you want.
I usually only need 3"-5" lengths so one roll can be 30-50 ties. It's made my display/power/network cable boxes a lot more manageable.
Honestly, I have gone through 3 headbands on my pro wireless. Which is ridic because my 2017 wireless 7 never had this issue. I find that the color headbands we aren't seeing much anymore have been the absolute worst.
My arasaka headband ? Stretched out entirely in less than 3 months. No clue. An earlier model from their colors edition has lasted longer but its pretty much gone.
So FYI anyone reading this... any non-standard black bands are the absolute worst. Look cool but stretch out in less than a year.
So I have been thinking something along the lines of what you are thinking TBH. I'd go with industrial velcro that has dense teeth but not very tall. It would look better and stay put. Also easier to remove to clean, disinfect, whatever, its pandemic times. Plain double sided tape will peel after a while and kinda get gooey. Good industrial velcro has hell on wheels industrial glue on it... and if you need to replace the pads just get similar velcro. Just my 2 cents.
I used these velcro pre-sized strip types at work when setting up new server room things and ... well ... the weight rating is accurate. The glue goes before the velcro so we tossed on a few dabs of superglue to make it 'extra'. https://www.amazon.co.uk/VELCRO-Brand-Industrial-Strength-Strips/dp/B003CEXPSA/
congrats. Grab some velcro straps for cable management. Allows you to easily reposition things and keep things really tidy.
Amazon Velcro brand Industrial Strength. A little creative work with scissors and/or hobby knife will make it work. Should last for a couple years, and replaceable if/when it falls off.
Too bad it doesn't just come in hook side...
I'd maybe start with a couple of blobs of plumbers putty just to kind of hold it in place, then if needed a couple of self tapping sheet metal screws. Or if enough room buy some Velcro hook & loop and attach according -
Happy to. I just made a Thingiverse account so I have to wait 24 hours to post. Feel free to remind me if I forget. I used a GoRuck GR1 field pouch, but I think any small molle bag would work. I also used this velcro to attach, but I think any velcro straps should be okay (like the straps you get to secure cables and cords). Even if you buy a $10 molle bag and some $6 velcro, it is still cheaper than the $30 bag I saw on Amazon. I put a multitool, bottle opener, and some light first aid supplies in my bag so far.
