This is not even a deal, it is this price in amazon since over a month or so. https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX300-750GB-Internal-Solid/dp/B01DUNLMUU/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1479160437&sr=1-3&keywords=mx300
We're seeing Silicon Power appear quite often for SSD sales and as normal, it's great value for its price/capacity but I wouldn't use them to store any critical information on. if you just want to chuck in a 512GB game drive then it's decent otherwise look to more reputable manufacturers (and their warranties) for SSDs.
Crucial are currently selling their BX500 (480GB) for £54.98
Err. Crucial MX300 is at a lower price for $336.99 and fulfilled by Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-MX300-525GB-Internal-Solid/dp/B01IAGSDUE/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1492868600&sr=1-1&th=1
2TB SSD Plus for $160 too. I'm tempted by it, but it's only a mediocre drive with a lot of bad Amazon reviews...then again, 2TB for $160 is the best deal I think I've ever seen.
The WD Black SN770 has DRAM cache unlike those two and is the same price as the 980; it's faster by quite a lot. Also has PCIe Gen4 instead of Gen3, but that will be mostly irrelevant for daily use.

Thank you! Can you please share your opinon on this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QV692XY/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_dl_TN98RTY5RZ9NEJQNTXZN_1?pldnSite=1 vs. the Samsung one?
I meant the first link to install windows
And this one for games/data
Buy a new SSD (save up if you have to), I don't know where you are and prices do differ by region obviously but even a basic SSD will be orders of magnitudes better than a spinning rust disc.
Crucial 480Mb SSD: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-CT480BX500SSD1-Internal-Solid-State/dp/B07G3KGYZQ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=L5L68EH47572&keywords=500gb+ssd&qid=1656421865&sprefix=500gb+ssd%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-3 is only £39
M.2 type ssd
SSD
Which one you looking to buy to buy ?
First one you mount where you have shield frost m.2 just above GPU slot and under cpu.
The second one you use SATA cable and power cable to connect it.
Buy a 1Tb NVMe Western Digital WD_BLACK SN770 which is cheaper than the Samsung in the 1Tb version and it's faster.
You could also do the WD black with way better performance for like $5 more.
This SSD is about $11 more for 5k R/W speed. I don't see this as a particularly great deal for the price unless you're specifically looking for gen3 compatibility.

This one is $5 more expensive but has almost double the read/write speed, but I'm not super techy. Would the WD one be a better purchase or would the 970 EVO still beat out WD?
Just buy a new one: Deal: Crucial BX500 480 GB CT480BX500SSD1-Up to 540 MB/s (Internal SSD, 3D NAND, SATA, 2.5 Inch), Black https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07G3KGYZQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_dl_NQMPM7DGR21EG3H06QQ1
Some people here like to tell others you can't play games on PC without $1000 before actually reading what games they intend to play. Now, of course you'll get better graphics on a more powerful machine, so it would be great if you have more to spend.
However, it does not look like the games you listed are super-demanding in terms of just getting playable frame rates on a low budget. Something like this Dell workstation listed on eBay for $245 would satisfy all the recommended specs of the games on your list since it comes with an 4-core/8-thread Haswell CPU, 16 gb ram and a Quadro K2200 graphics card with 4gb DDR5 Ram (using the same GPU chip as the GTX 750ti). Add a sub $50 SSD and you will have a decent user experience and playable frame rates on the games you are playing for sub $300.
Now if you want more performance, you can sell the Quadro k2200 and look for a dedicated graphics card like a used GTX 1650 Super in the $250 range on a local deal or on eBay (local deals tend to be less expensive). For new cards, the flawed RX 6500xt or GTX 1650 can be options if you can find the close to the lower $200 range.
You can also upgrade to higher-specced Xeon processors on the Dell workstation, like a Xeon e5-2640v3 or e5-2667 v3 if more CPU capabilities are desired on the cheap.
Yes it it NVME slot.
You can install 3 size of Nvme that is 2280, 2260, 2242.
Here is samsung ssd for 2280 size.

Not sure where you are located but something like this. Put a fresh install of Windows on it, use the existing hard drive as your data storage. Also, pick up a small (16gb) USB thumbstick to put the windows media installation on.
Looks good! but there's a Western Digital has a drive that's a little better speed I just used for a customer that includes Battlefield 2042 for like $10 extra from American Amazon (its $141 upside down dollars) or you could go with https://www.amazon.com.au/Samsung-Plus-500GB-3-bit-MZ-V7S500BW/dp/B07MFBLN7K/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=970%2Bssd&qid=1634657201&sr=8-3&th=1 which is better for gaming around that price range
970 evo plus 500gb available for 7.3k. Is it worth it for my predator helios(1060) or should i go for the WD SN550 ? 970 evo plus does have tlc and dram so is it worth the extra 2k?
If you're hesitant about QLC, the 2TB SanDisk is still available on Amazon for $230:

I think that drive is TLC, but someone else might want to confirm. The QVO has a better controller and cache, though. In either case, both would be gated by the SATA interface anyhow though, so if your preference is write endurance, maybe this is the better option.
Ok so looks like you are wanting a backup solution for your laptop.
I wouldn't necessarily go the route of an external hard drive. It would be much simpler for you to use something like Backblaze or iDrive. These are services where you pay monthly or annually to have them automatically backup your entire computer to their cloud storage platform. The cost is low and the data is more secure than if you were to save the data to an external drive (drives can fail unexpectedly).
That being said, if you are dead set on having your own physical storage, I would go with an external 2TB SSD. You can buy the enclosure and the drive separately to save money and get a better product overall. I would also recommend making sure the drive/enclosure are both SATA III compatible and the enclosure is USB 3.1 gen2 for the highest possible read/write speeds as well as future proofing. See below for links to specific products.
I got this SSD, forgot to mention. Does it look like a viable SSD?
Also why should I get a B550 instead of X570??
