>This is the story of an Arizona Tribal police officer who stumbles onto one of the of the biggest cases in the history of the Southwest. He is a member of an elite group within the Native American communities known as The Shadow Wolves. What comes with his discovery is the uncovering of massive corruption in places where he once had placed his total trust.
>Shadow Wolves is a book of fiction based on reality. Both author’s have worked with, confronted, and seen the power of the Deep State and the manner in which many federal government agencies willfully violate the Constitution and the laws of the land in service to special interests.
>The 2016 election has for the first time made many American citizens aware that the Deep State is very real; that the mainstream media is a fake news media offering a false narrative designed by the secret intelligence world in service to special interests.
>The fight for America’s soul is taking place far from Washington, D.C. This is a story of one small group of patriots fighting the good fight.
What a world we live in.
Yes, the deep state....
I learned a lot about the deep state by reading Steven Segal's Way of the Shadow Wolves.
Truly enlightening...
The Atlantis Gene is the first of a 3 part series that gets more absurd and out there with every passing chapter. It's basically what would happen if Shyamalan wrote a book and attempted to include a plot twist every 3-4 chapters.

I have finally published my debut novel... Corporate Assassin. I had to use a pseudo name due to personal reasons. Thanks everyone for the valuable feedback on the cover design and other general guidance. I'd especially like to thank /u/Taurnil91 for the editing.

They used to sell three different ones on their site, but those are now gone. I think all of them were written in Russian, but this is the first one that has been translated to English.
Shibumi: A Novel by Trevanian
"A classic spy novel from the bestselling author, Trevanian, about a westerner raised in Japan who becomes one of the world's most accomplished assassins."
"Nicholai Hel is the world’s most wanted man. Born in Shanghai during the chaos of World War I, he is the son of an aristocratic Russian mother and a mysterious German father and is the protégé of a Japanese Go master. Hel survived the destruction of Hiroshima to emerge as the world’s most artful lover and its most accomplished—and well-paid—assassin. Hel is a genius, a mystic, and a master of language and culture, and his secret is his determination to attain a rare kind of personal excellence, a state of effortless perfection known only as shibumi."
"Now living in an isolated mountain fortress with his exquisite mistress, Hel is unwillingly drawn back into the life he’d tried to leave behind when a beautiful young stranger arrives at his door, seeking help and refuge. It soon becomes clear that Hel is being tracked by his most sinister enemy—a supermonolith of international espionage known only as the Mother Company. The battle lines are drawn: ruthless power and corruption on one side, and on the other . . . shibumi."
Interested to know this too. The first one is on Amazon but the 2nd and 3rd aren’t.
Sweden does have a murky past, one that some Swedish non-fiction authors have probably shone the brightest light on, and there are definitely a few communitarian aspects to that culture that can come as a surprise to Anglo-Americans, but blithely labeling it as fascist is something only particularly tendentious and pedantic ideologues would do.
Hey I know this is an old post but I found out you can buy the kindle version of the first book on Amazon. Listed as the same author and everything. Second and third aren't on there though..
Kinda reminds me of the storytelling in Escape from Tarkov. If you play the game then you should read the book based in that universe, Predator: Escape from Tarkov.

It actually is really good and helps explain the lore of the scavs and traders in a realistic way, even quests too!
It'll be interesting to read more on the No-Pats closer to launch.
Considering that James Patterson and President Clinton wrote a book about the president being MIA (but for a completely different reason), I wouldn’t put it past Trump to attempt it.
One time, I lost my job an ended up at a job course.
In retaliation, I wrote an urban fantasy featuring unemployed sleuths, paranormal creatures and overzealous career consultants. A little niche maybe, but hey, what can you do. Inspiration can strike from anywhere :)
I decided to selfpublish the novella and have made it free on Kindle until October 14th.
Check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KFP7W9H

A haunted job course, an unemployed detective and a dash of magic? It's the perfect blend in this urban fantasy mystery!
Losing your job is a sour experience, but for Tiffany Clarke it is much more dangerous than she imagines. During a job course, a mysterious disappearance unveils a string of murders. Is it the work of a cynical killer, or something much more sinister?
Taking matters into her own hands, Tiffany teams up with Gavin Maine. A young detective with his own agenda, who eventually warns her to stay out of trouble.
But trouble soon finds Tiffany, and she is caught in a deadly crossfire between paranormal forces, dark magic and a monster on the prowl.

These books look cool! Thanks for sharing.
>I actually read about this some time back in two GREAT and well-researched novels called Power of the Dog and The Cartel.
>Actually I learned more about the drug war in those 2 novels than I've learned anywhere else.

Anyone ever read The Atlantis Gene series? It's fictional but has a lot of these theories in it about Antarctica and the global elite and ancient beings. Fun read. https://www.amazon.ca/Atlantis-Gene-Thriller-Origin-Mystery-ebook/dp/B00C2WDD5I
Anything is possible. But the "barrier" to success is no less in self-publishing than traditional publishing. People don't view SP works any differently.
In fact, it's probably harder to succeed in SP as you don't have all the resources of traditional publishing. Hence why a lot of SP novels tank because they are poorly written and produced. Very few people have the skills (or money to acquire things like editing services) to really have a shot at SP.
Also, like anything, it will take a while (years) to build a reader base, that's assuming you are really good.
But the #3 book overall in the Amazon store is self-published I believe.
With 12,000 reviews it's likely sold over a million copies. Safe to say the author has likely made millions.
In summary: Possible? Yes. Easy? No.
I'm currently reading The Power if the Dog by Don Winslow. It's a fantastic crime/thriller about the start of the War on Drugs. The sequel just got released and looked interesting enough that I had to buy the first book before I read it.
It is fantastic. It's the first part of a trilogy. It's written by a swede, Steig Larsson, who initially planned more books than just those three but died prematurely. It's actually a really sad story because the books became a gigantic success. He was not married to his long-time girlfriend, and his rights and profits fell into his estranged father and brother, whom he had extreme dislike for. I remember reading something about them even being mixed up in some Nazi-like stuff that he represented in his novels.
The book was also made into a great movie directed by David Fincher, director of Fight Club. I'd also recommend the movie. But the swedish adaptations were also made and I haven't seen those movies. The female lead from that movie hit it big in America and she was in Prometheus.
This is a good trilogy. It is a thriller and some sci-fi throw in.
I've purchased about 20 Kindle books and only one has it disabled (Foundation).
Also fwiw, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo doesn't have it anymore
Much of Trevanian's novel Shibumi is set in the Basque country of Spain. One of my favorite spy thrillers.
The great thing about Trevanian is you never know exactly if he's putting you on.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was pretty good and worth a read.
