So, as someone whose done some decently difficult puzzles, it may not be as bad as people think. I'm not saying it's not hard, or not time consuming but a lot of it depends on certain design aspects.
For example, the edges are usually easy for obvious reasons. Looking at the video it looks like the pieces are cut somewhat uniquely, this means that while sorting from color can be a little more difficult, though not impossible since the color probably won't change too much if you always sit in the same spot, you can also sort by size, shape, number of sides with cutouts versus tabs, etc.
Granted you're probably going to be doing a bunch of brute-forcing from there but if you really take the time to organize your pieces it usually isn't as bad as people think. That's coming from someone who finished this one which a lot of people seem to feel is difficult.

The Amazon Glow has a privacy shutter. Here is what Amazon says: "Designed with privacy in mind – Instantly disable cameras and microphones on the device by simply closing the privacy shutter." It's on the side of the device.
So, if you wanted, you could close the privacy shutter without unplugging the device. The privacy shutter will block out any malicious activity by anyone.
A Glow can only connect to the Glow App. Your ex has the Glow App, your kid has the Glow device. There's no Alexa connection at all, as I understand it.
One reason your ex might want it plugged in all the time is because the Glow is typically sold with a subscription to Amazon Kids+. He probably would like those kids' activities to be available to your kid. Some require an internet connection for the kid to use.
Another reason might be so he can try to call his kid when he has the time to do so. Otherwise, he has to call you first.
Having said that, it's your house. If you want to unplug it, then unplug it. You are the king of your house.

Did anyone feel like Kim's B&W sequence was full of references to color/lack thereof?
- One lady at her picnic was talking about the gold food coloring she used, but we couldn't see it
- Kim was solving a pure white jigsaw puzzle
- We got a shot of someone in her office playing solitaire, but you can't tell red from black.

Other “useful gift” ideas: maybe a one piece themed blanket, phone case, AirPods case, mug/bowl
Depending on your budget you could also maybe look into replicas of the characters weapons like one of Zoro’s swords. If a real/full size sword is a no go, sometimes they sell letter openers that are basically mini replicas of a sword (they are super cute lol)
Honestly I would also just go on Etsy and search “one piece” and see what comes up, they have so many unique/creative items on there I’m sure you’ll either find something you want to buy or at least get some more inspiration/ideas.

I watched it on amazon for about a year, but 'who has the time' and then it sold out as lockdowns started coming round
I searched for weeks and there were a few available in Germany but I didn't know how imports would work, and then I saw one "for collection only" from England on ebay and I genuinely considered trying sneaking past the border lockdowns, but turns out it was only £20 to DHL it next day to Scotland.
No one else bid so I got it for £250 which was £50 less than amazon at the time, and pretty much half of what it's going for now

Best gift I’ve ever received was from my girlfriend. She gave me a 736-piece Solid Black Ravensburger Krypt Puzzle for my birthday. Needless to say, I love puzzles and difficult ones make me extremely happy.
I was gifted this demon puzzle which also had letters on the back, but I hated it so much. My dad also hated it and threw it out. I think it’s the only puzzle I’ve been happy to part with. 😂
And yes!! Totally didn’t think your title was anything but cheekiness and I love it. Although, it really does feel like I’m cheating sometimes when I see other puzzlers who don’t use the letters, don’t refer to the image on the box, mix pieces together on giant 10K+ puzzles, etc. I can’t play on “hard mode” when it comes to puzzles! Hahah
