A lot of the scooters are manufactured by Segway.
I think the clunkiness of the first Segways on the market, and perception that they are used by middle aged businessmen and tourists wearing helmets, can’t be ignored when comparing the difference in implementation.
Yeah, you’re basically doing Miami wrong. I call it crawling up a hot babes butthole it’s full of shit. She’s hot you are just going about things the wrong way.
Miami residents are IMO generally Very happy. 5 years ago you could buy a $125,000 fixer upper or a $250,000 house. Now they are double and triple in value So yeah people are happy.
If you are in an area like South Beach and frequently see people stealing from conviene stores.
A. Stop going to those stores
B. Upgrade your life
crying about No Electric scooters. Then buy your own. I did

If they won’t honor the price on a replacement unit, this is a good alternative for $499 while it’s still on sale:
This is the one Costco used to sell for $680.
It’s $499 on Amazon.

I would go with Amazon over Segway direct. Faster shipping and easier returns.
The G30LP and KQi2 Pro are both very good scooters but the G30LP has self healing tires so I would go with that one if prices are similar.
Spend a bit more and get a NIU KQi2 which is on sale right now for $659.99
> Would be nice to keep it around 500 CAD if possible.
If you have Prime grab one of these while they are on sale. $559.99 with the $40 coupon.
Another user recommended this and I agree, https://www.amazon.com/NIU-KQi2-Electric-Scooter-Adults/dp/B09MTCZXNS?ref_=ast_sto_dp additionally, if it’s not good enough for your needs, Amazon returns are much easier than any other company
at the moment, I'm eyeing this. With all the varying prices for what seems like the same thing, I'm not too sure what to grab.
It's listed as $599 on Amazon. But usually if you have prime they have discount coupons, as of now, there's a coupon of $70 you can use. It runs at 17mph max. It's very steady. One downside may be that it's a little too heavy (40lbs) so it may not be very convenient to carry around.
This one, but you may have to wait for a better sale.
The NIU KQi2 Pro was for $480 with a coupon about a week ago https://old.reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/us0p3z/niu_kqi2_4792_cheap_starter_scooter/
Amazon also sometimes has a coupon that gets the price close to $500. Currently the white version is $530 with the amazon coupon code here https://www.amazon.com/NIU-Kick-Scooter-KQi3-Rose/dp/B09MTC8ZW1/
The cheapest scooter I would go with is the NIU KQi2 Pro. Currently only $460 on (also apply the $50 coupon code for this price)
https://www.amazon.com/NIU-KQi2-Electric-Scooter-Adults/dp/B09MTCZXNS/
If you are looking for a budget scooter at this price range get the NIU KQi2 Pro instead. Currently its even cheaper at $650 https://www.amazon.ca/NIU-KQi2-Electric-Scooter-Adults/dp/B09MTCZXNS/
Recent review https://youtu.be/tSH42qAaXCY but check out others as well. Looks a lot better then this hiboy clone.
Take a look at the NIU KQi2 Pro its $600 (with $100 off coupon) that is probably the best option at your budget. Review https://youtu.be/tSH42qAaXCY

You need to understand how pricing works. Someone can buy this brand new for $430. You'll be lucky to get $200 secondhand, even if it's never been used.

Used for one month. All parts included. Would love for someone else to have instead of it sitting in the box!
Looking for $110 or best offer. Located in NYC but can ship if you can also cover the shipping costs.
Monorim V4 Front Scooter Suspension Upgrade | Compatible w/ Segway Ninebot MAX - $140 on Amazon
Monorim V4 Front Scooter Suspension Upgrade | Compatible w/ Segway Ninebot MAX | Scooter Parts for Safer, Smoother, More Comfortable Ride https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088QGX7CP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_NXKHYF2AXZW2CM2MN74Z
here I'll give you the specific instructions for the s2 (s2r should be almost exactly the same, I'm not sure, but save this text): Alright. When you take off the original front fork, youre gonna want to take off the metal sticker (you can always put it back on). It reveals a hole to where you can unscrew the horizontal screw that stops the steering at a certain angle. This will allow you to completely take off the front fork + wheel etc. the monorim shaft that goes through there does not have a screw hole for it, so you will be able to rotate the wheel until the suspension part hits the frame. (It's okay, it's technically less safe but it really doesn't affect anything). As you might've heard before, the bearings and spacers are different for the s2. You will not need the bearings that come with the kit. Unlike the xiaomi models, the s2 has built in bearings that won't fall out and are in the tube. The spacers are weird. I can't tell you what is up top, but i know what's in the bottom. (For this, you gotta play around with the spacers on the top and bottom for a vital screw to line up on the top. I don't remember what is up top for me, I can't really see it. You will get it eventually, trust me). A single aluminum ring is on the bottom. This probably doesn't make sense to you now, but it will later (or now, it depends on if you have the kit or not). If you have any more questions, i will happily answer them.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BL4VPDR?ref=emc_p_m_5_i This is sorta what I was thinking alough the Mi Pro 2 looks interesting however it appears you can't buy it in the US.
This was the listing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y5HNK4K
This is the install video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dICeg1upIcg
The installation isn't too difficult but it definitely helps if you're mechanically inclined. It took me about an hour-hour and a half. Two things that differ from the installation instructions (since this is meant for a xiaomi) is that you can't use the included bearing rings, you have to just use the flat rings on the stem that come with the s2 pro. Also there's a bolt you have to remove that's under the Hiboy sticker (it seems this bolt is used to prevent the stem from turning too far).
After installing the suspension the ride is so much smoother. Literally, the scooter came in this past Thursday. I set it up Friday, and I installed the suspension on Saturday.
The Ninebot Max G30LP, is a newer model of one of the most popular scooters in the world (the original Ninebot Max). Same highly durable, well-designed build quality with a slightly smaller deck. The range is around 25-30km. The G30LP is a very good scooter as it is dependable, comfortable and almost bullet proof. ;-)
On Amazon there are two separate listings. One for the M365 version and one for the Ninebot Max version. I ordered the M365 version
You might be able to ride on a sidewalk if your bike is a legal mobility device.
Appologies if I do not understand the full extent of your balance and vision disability but maybe the following will help.
You might want to try a simple kick bike or scooter with brakes. It would speed up your commute to work considerably. But you might have to spend lots of time practicing if you have balance issues. For most of us, talent and proficiency are learned skills that involve struggle and failure before we get there. It took me hundreds of miles to feel comfortable on my 2 wheel recumbents which I consider to have twitchy steering and I have been riding normal bikes for 60 years.
I had a friend hardly able to walk but she got around her town using a Kick Bike or adult scooter. This Schwinn Shuffle is only $199! There are numerous other types but the wheels need to be big enough to ride over any stray stones or rocks. Then you can even get smaller electric scooters or a 3 wheel scooter.
A kick bike/ scooter would be much easier to store and secure in your apartment. A lot less money too.
Maybe a trike is overkill for a 2 1/2 mile commute. But it would be great for a week end where getting it into and out of storage is less time than the actual trip.
I live in the Northern Adirondacks with most secondary roads being 50 to 100 feet per mile climbs. Google maps calls these "Mostly Flat". Google maps might call the Rocky Mountains "Hilly". Another case of stupid artificial intelligence. Look closely at Google maps in "Terrain Mode". If you have 50 to 100 feet of climb per mile, you may have trouble getting up the hill.
Yeah I want to just place the order anyway and hope for a better ship date than 6/24. Good luck to you! Amazon Monorim V3
