Amazon reviews oftentimes aren't actually helpful, and people may just use "helpful" as an upvote button (i.e. when they find it funny).
I mean, the top review for this banana slicer currently shows that 58,215 people found it helpful. Yes, nearly sixty-thousand for a banana slicer.
As a motorcycle racer, we pay a lot of attention to track temps b/c we get different tires depending on the heat. I have my IR surface temp thermometer for reading tire and track temperatures
It’s this one!

Food scale.
$11 on Amazon- I have two of these and highly recommend it.
If you already have a food scale learn how to use it- if you tare out between each ingredient they are fast and easy to use.
Everyone thinks they are going to be too much trouble until they start and see how easy and efficient it really is.
>How can I estimate how much food I am eating more accurately?
You can't.
Eyeballing doesn't work.
For things that don't have nutrition information on them like apples, meat, cooking oil, and vegetables I use the USDA food database to get and check calorie information. In MFP, you can search for things like "USDA gala apples" or "USDA chicken breast" to get entries from the USDA that other people have entered into the database.
This is the food scale I have. It's pretty cheap and made of plastic, but it's held up to my using it multiple times a day for over a year.
I’ve used this one for 3 years. No complaints. It was essential to my weight loss
Whatever scale you end up getting, make sure it has a TARE function. Makes life easier
Just a heads-up: Thermoworks products are top-of-the-line for consumer kitchen thermometers, but the only major benefit over cheaper products is the speed to report an accurate temp. But speed isn't an issue with cheaper IR thermometers because IR is an instant reading. Get yourself a $15 IR thermometer on Amazon; it's just as good as Thermoworks for IR.
I use this one and I love it. It's so easy to switch between units and to zero it out. Best ever.

Oddly enough, I picked up this one about a week ago. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00837ZGRY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But I got it because my kid got a pet snake for his b-day and we need to make sure its enclosure is the right temp! I have one of those Himalayan salt blocks that was a present, so thanks for the reminder that I need to use it. The temp. gun is easy to use and seems to work well, I just can't vouch for its utility in cooking yet.
What are you going to cook on your block?
Maybe. I suggest grabbing a non contact thermometer like this one... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DMI632G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lxJeDbBAWC3ET
You'll quickly realize how hot your pan really is regardless of stove settings. With my stove, my pans just keep getting hotter and hotter, so I'm constantly lowering the setting to maintain an even temp. These thermometers really up your game and at $19, it's a pretty affordable way to do it.
So why get this over some non-gun branded scale that also measures in grains? It's not like "grain" is some super special gun specific measurement. I guess you can't load a mortar with the amazon one but 300 grains seems like more than enough
I bought this scale about...eight years ago. Literally the brand, went back to 2011 on my Amazon purchases. I bought it to make better coffee at home, and got Amazon suggestion from 2-6g baggies along with "bulk fake roses in glass." I don't need crack pipes or baggies in bulks, thanks so Amazon.
What I did find out is that my guy was just winging it. 2g one day, 4g another, 1.5 another. Really nice dude, just didn't use the scale correctly even after I told him how to tare it and make sure it's all set right.
Get a scale and get into coffee as an excuse, you'll know if you're getting ripped and you can get a pretty decent job in a trendy third-wave coffee shop with a base level of how to do a pourover.
That AC is broken. You should temp the air coming out of the vents, it should be in the '50's mid-range.
Eyeballing meth is a no go. A piece of meth the size of a grain of rice is enough to produce very strong effects if you don't have a large tolerance, it's super potent stuff.
BUY A SCALE AND THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN
You should always use smile.amazon.com! Same price, same everything, except 0.5% of your purchase goes to the charity of your choice!
The reviews, questions and answers posted to this product are by far the funniest and most outrageous of any I’ve come across on Amazon.
My favorite:
“Great addition to any junk drawer!
I knew my kitchen junk drawer was missing something. It has the usual obscure utensils-ice pick, meat hook, those little corn cob sticker things-but it opened so freely. I knew this was unacceptable for any kitchen junk drawer. I needed that one big thing that would barely fit in and would snag the counter every time I opened it. The Hutzler 571 was perfect! Now my drawer snags like every other junk drawer I've ever had and I have to push the Hutzler 571 down with my hand to get it open. Plus when I need 16 pieces of a banana it does the trick. Nothing worse than 9 small slices and 7 big ones on your cereal. Thanks Hutzler 571!”
An infrared thermometer is a godsend for knowing how hot a pan is. I learned that from Alton Brown and keep one of these little guys nearby. Prices range but my cheap one does everything I need

Rule one to dealing in the black market: Buy a scale and also ask for it to weighted out in front of you.

Honestly I feel like “healthy food” can be a subjective term and it can overwhelm you. What’s considered healthy to me may not be considered healthy to someone else. I try to reframe it as looking at foods that have a good nutritional value compared to those that don’t. Like for example, I know some Greek yogurt with berries will fill me up better than a pop tart will for breakfast.
In general though, I try and eat a balanced diet. Lean proteins, beans, vegetables, fruits, complex carbs, etc. I try and reach my protein, fiber, and fat goals. these are all foods that are going to fill me up. Do I still eat “unhealthy” stuff like ice cream, chocolate, etc? Hell yeah I do. I just eat it in moderation.
I highly recommend Skinnytaste.com as well. I get pretty much all of my recipes from her. BudgetBytes.com is good too and I’ve also had luck just searching around on Pinterest
My number one tip for anyone starting out that’s counting calories is to get a food scale on Amazon. It makes calorie counting 100 times easier. I bought this one 2 and a half years ago and it works perfectly.
The Ozeri food scale on Amazon. It's cheap, durable, and hasn't let me down. Ozeri Food Scale
Google the Ashton Manual (https://benzo.org.uk/manual/). It was developed by Professor Heather Ashton of Newcastle University - Institute of Neuroscience. She developed an effective, safe protocol for benzodiazepine withdrawal. As u/Angry_Jonny indicated, you should switch to a longer half-life bezodiazepine like Valium or Klonopin, then wean yourself very slowly over months. Buy a cheap but accurate digital scale from Amazon like this one and make 10% cuts. https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-GEMINI-20-Portable-MilliGram/dp/B0012TDNAM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1531600375&sr=8-4&keywords=milligram+scale
Read the manual and good luck.
You want a scale that can read down to .01 grams. Check out the American Weigh Labs LB-501, it's on amazon as well, runs about $24.
https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-Scales-LB-501-Digital/dp/B005UGBG20
They're actually only about $18 on Amazon.
I strongly recommend that you do not take this or any other powdered compound without measuring with a scale, each time. The type of phenibut (FAA/HCL), crystal size, different batches, how you load the spoon, etc., all make it hard to get reliable, repeated doses.
The scales are cheap--here is a very popular one on Amazon:

Phenibut can be a fantastic aid to better living--let us know how it goes!
Just get one from Amazon. I’ve used this one for 5 years.

BUY A SCALE PLEASE
You can learn more about scales here: PsychonautWiki: Milligram Scales
I use this scale personally, it has served me very well: Amazon: American Weigh Scales GEMINI-20
Remember that meth doses are quite tiny visually. Meth "lines" are more like "bumps" than actual lines, if that makes sense.
When eyeballing meth I sniff matchhead sized piles (after crushing the crystals into a very fine powder) and slowly build the high up. I rarely eyeball my doses though, it never works out well for me when I do.
BUY A SCALE
IF YOU CAN BUY SPEED YOU CAN BUY A FUCKING SCALE
I found something similar on Amazon. It's not great since you can't see the entire kit if it's on the second or third level, but I don't have a proper display case or anything. This guy really saves me a lot of space on my desk.
Edit: I forgot to mention, Masurao's on the stand that came with the kit.
Sure! Congrats on starting your journey!
I got this one from Target and I like it so far- seems pretty accurate with everything! The Quick Start Guide suggests this one from Amazon, which is a smidge cheaper and good for if you aren't in the US or don't have a nearby Target :P ...I just love Target and go there for everything LOL!
Dude just amazon prime the Gemini mg scale right now it’s like $25
