Plastic Razor Blades are a safe way to remove stickers and decals. They don't scratch like metal razor blades can.
Look for "scout carry" style sheaths.
Or, get something like a tec lock that you can adjust to suit your needs.
Alternatively, if you find a knife you really like and want a leather scout style sheath made, and are willing to pay shipping from the states, PM me. Here is a dangler style sheath I just made.
Before using abrasives, I would spray with a concentrated cleaner (I like Simple Green) and let it soak for a bit, then scrape with a plastic razor blade (https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Double-Edged-Razor-Scraper/dp/B004623NU2 - I buy them at a local hardware store)
Get a flat razor but put it in a window scraper body. Most control/safety, difficult to scratch glass.
Love, paint & props
Don't be. My smoothtop stove actually came with a razor scraper. I bet yours did too. You will need it the first time you drip or spatter something on the hot surface.
This is what they typically look like, although some are made of plastic https://www.amazon.com/American-Safety-Razor-66-0445-Heavy-Duty/dp/B000WC8UF8/
> Also, to the pencil sharping: why? It seems kinda dangerous.
It's not unusual to sharpen pencils to a long point like this; it exposes lots of lead so you can get really broad strokes.
If you want to try it but are worried about using a razor blade like that safely, a scraping tool like this makes it easier to hold on to.
this will work great and won't scratch the glass unless you are trying to gouge it intentionally. just keep it almost parallel to the surface and scrape slowly, it will come right up with no issues. glass will be much more durable than a flimsy razor blade tbh
for $13, a tek-lok to belt carry fixed blades or almost anything that lines up with the holes: https://www.amazon.com/Blade-Tech-Tek-Lok-Hardware-1-Pack/dp/B00G2DPHFM
or a weatherproof hard case, harbor freight sells decent ones that can be reasonably priced on sale/with coupons
or a military styled fob or pendant to put on a paracord lanyard
there are tons of sellers of leather sheaths on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/search?explicit=1&q=folding+knife+sheath&max=25&ship_to=US&order=most_relevant
yeah my first attempts gouged the glass a bit too, the secret is use this and keep the tool as flat on the glass as possible, and take extra care to not twist it in such a way that the corner of the blade becomes the only point of contact cause that's pretty much guaranteed to scratch the glass. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00132H4OE/
For the print that's stuck, you can put the plate in the freezer fora bit, or try heating things up to 60C.
Definitely get some of these:

I'm not 100% on this model, but if the inside of the grill cover is enameled, buy yourself a glass scraper and go to town.
Then spray the inside with Oven Cleaner and let it sit for a while. You can use chemical resistant gloves and scrape some more, or hit it with a scotchbrite pad or steel wool.
I always finish with a pressure washer. I have a foam cannon that I use with my car, so I'd foam it up and give the outside a scrub, then blast it with the pressure washer.
As far as the internals go, basically everything is available either directly through weber, and Lowes/HD will carry stuff like flavorizer bars and grates.
Great find! There's a green one near me that someone is selling for $50. I have a Weber Performer Deluxe that I paid about $150 for and cleaned up/repaired over the years but I'm finding myself wanting a propane Spirit or Genesis just for the convenience. I love charcoal, but there is definitely something to be said of the convenience of propane.
Can be closed for safe storage in pocket. Blades can be replaced as they get dull. God tier power in removing stickers from flat surfaces.

The razor blade scraper was like a $5 tool. Useful though.

First of all. That fucking degenerate couldn't even put it so it's pointing right at the display. I cannot fathom a human being so chaotic.
Second, get yourself a razor scraper and some rubbing alcohol or acetone to take the adhesive off.
Well, avoid adding more by changing your z offset. After that, I have had really good success with a razor blade scraper like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-28-500-Razor-Scraper-Blades/dp/B00002X1ZX
This is one of the most worthwhile upgrades. Ditch the spatula and use this to remove all your prints in future.
To use it to remove the old plastic marks, use this scraper, pour iso over the marks, and scrape crosswise across the marks. Buff with paper towel, and repeat until the marks are as gone as you need. I've successfully removed quite a few major marks from my original Creality glass bed using this trick. If you still have some plastic remaining smushed into the 'pores', you can flick it out using the corner of the razor blade in each pore.
My 2yo bed still looks pretty pristine now, you can see very faint marks but usually you wouldn't notice them.
There are little holders for double bladed razors that make them useful as box cutters, general tape cutters, caulk breakers, and when your surface isn't delicate they can be used as scrapers.
Something like this thing but with steel blades instead of plastic.
I just wanted to remove the stickers, so I used these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0046ZUNY8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Worked very well and I didn't need to heat them or anything. Finished with a quick pass of Goo Gone to remove any slight residue left.
My preferred solution is the Tek-Lok belt clip. I use them on all of my ESEE sheathes. They can be attached in four different positions at 90-degree angles. Just set it up for a horizontal position, adjust it to the width of your belt, and you've got a solid no-fuss carry.
I have not seen a plastic razer blade before I use something summaries to this. I would be happy to see what your referring to though

Stuffed all the passages with rags & towels, used brake cleaner to soften the RTV, and plastic gasket scraper razors to remove.

I have a similar issue with mine. Don't be afraid to really dig in with the razor blade. The glass is a harder material than the razor so you can't scratch it. I use one of these to clean mine and they do what they need to.

I’m using the bladetech tek-lok for the rifle mag carriers. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G2DPHFM/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_SPZ5DA385H4PDTYJV60V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
If you have the pistol mag carriers, you might want to check the mini tek-loks.
Buy a scrapper, check Stanley 28-500 Razor Blade Scraper with 5 Blades https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00002X1ZX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Y7RSNRQZ8AE96YEZRCV5
You can usually find them in dollar stores as well. Scrap away, keep the blade at a low angle ~30°
Use this guy to scrape it off. When you go to reapply lay down a line of tape above and below to make your lines a little cleaner. Cut a small hole and underapply the caulking, less is better. You can always add more. You should also keep a wet sponge or rag by your side for cleanup and to keep your finger moistened. Caulk doesn't stick to your finger if it's wet.
