Also if you don’t want to buy a label printer these work great! I use them with pirateship all the time.

You can print it on copy paper and tape it to the mailer with packing tape. Or if you want to be more professional you can print it on sticker paper. You can find these half sheet labels on amazon, which is what I use, and they can just run through normal printers.
Edit: I originally forgot to put the link to the labels in
I use this. Can’t beat 100 sheets for under $18.

Thermal printers use heat on heat sensitive paper to create words. No ink.
If you want to do labels, the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL Thermal Label Printer is a good one. I'm sure there is a competing Zebra brand as well, but I prefer DYMO myself. You can buy cheap labels from Amazon or buy the DYMO brand labels if you want, they both work well.
For me, I use these labels: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PF1BSE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$8.39 for 200 labels and I run them through this printer:https://smile.amazon.com/HP-LaserJet-Monochrome-Printer-C5F93A/dp/B013SKIC7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490453767&sr=8-1&keywords=HP+402+laser
Laser is down to $160 Cartridges are $96 but I go 6 months on a cartridge just printing labels.
I hope that helps.
Honestly, I'd just try and make your own. The basic version of the Silhouette software is free to download, and there are tutorials on Youtube for how to make your own checkboxes.
Buy some sticker paper from Amazon and then you can print them yourself. You can shop around and read some reviews, but here is a pack of 100 glossy sheets for $10.
It'll be somewhat of an investment up front, but that works out to only 10 cents per sheet. Even if you go to FedEx like I do and pay 65 cents per page for printing, that's still only 75 cents for a full 8.5 by 11 sheet. Most Etsy sheets I've seen are like half that size and 5 times as expensive.
I use these: PACKZON Shipping Labels with Self... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYPSK40?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You will get 2 labels per sheet and it’s so much easier than taking the printer paper label to the envelope
It sounds like you are just beginning on the road to selling on Amazon. Invest in supplies for that stand out to your customers. There is no need for tape that says Amazon on it. Regular clear packing tape will be more than fine. Use clean boxes as that is what Amazon prefers of their sellers.
When starting you can grab half sheet labels (https://www.amazon.com/KKBESTPACK-Shipping-Labels-Inkjet-Printers/dp/B089LHX8Q6) then over time you can invest is a thermal laser printer like a Dymo 4XL or Rollo.
Print your labels directly through Amazon's seller central.
I buy the half sheet labels off Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001PF1BSE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_BGa9zbGJ5GB16 ) and just print them off a regular printer.
I also bought an hp printer with "instant ink". I pay monthly for a certain number of pages printed, and it has rollover so if I don't print enough every month it saves up (but only to a certain amount). I am on the $3 a month plan and it is TOTALLY WORTH to me. You can print full color images and it doesn't cost you extra. The biggest downside is it counts pages printed, so even if you print a page with a single word on it, it still counts as a page.
It definitely isn't as cheap as a thermal label printer (no ink costs), but I never buy ink. When a cartridge runs low, the printer automatically sends me a new cartridge, no shipping costs, and that convenience is worth it to me. My old printer would clog up the nozzles and I spend nearly $80 on ink before throwing the damn thing in the garbage, and barely printed 20 sheets.
With my hp I've printed 100s of pages and it only costs me $3 a month. Though another downside is if you go over your allotted per month, they charge some rediculous amount per page. To get around that you can just buy a set of cartridges and use them until your new month starts.
I know I sound like an ad for Hp but it's a really good printer (and scanner) and since I put the packing list and a little instruction 1/3rd sheet in each package I send out, I print a decent amount and the convenience out weighs any added costs. (plus I can factor that into my shipping costs, about $0.30 per order)
Laserjet over ink jet is preferred. HP has a line of printers that work over wi-fi. Look for Wi-Fi direct HP printers. Possibly buy used on eBay with a return policy. Others may work, but I’ve seen HP invest the most in this tech.
Also, I recommend using half sheet labels from Amazon. PM me and I can send you some extras I have (I switched to a thermal printer now that I’ve reached a nice scale). They save you time from cutting and using tape to attach labels.
If you reach scale (for me 1000+ orders), find a thermal printer (like Dymo 4xl) and probably buy a laptop.
You're well vetted then. Dont spend so much on the avery labels. They're expensive af. Get these. They make full sheet address labels too. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B016CV811U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GaOxFbGPH2XYQ
I've had a HP m477fnw for years man. ive replaced the toner twice, and the off brands are like $30-40 for full color and black. I was printing like 50+ labels a day at one point. I got it at an auction for $60… and another m477fn for $60. I resold the other one. And got some extra $$$ and a SMB printer for free.
I used a dymo4xl I got at a thrift for a month and just sold it. Convenient but problematic.
I had a zebra for awhile too. That was well worth it. Sold it for cash later on when I sized down my business.
Go zebra if anything. If you do FBA make sure it's the one that can print on address labels too.
If you don’t want to invest in a label printer (they’re a little expensive) you can buy sticker paper. The size depends on the size of your packaging. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYPSK40/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aj7wFbKV0X93E or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079PXPPJD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Xl7wFb6PQEMKV
I use vinyl sticker printer paper. I can stick the image down and can pour resin right over it. It doesn't run or get an damage. I buy it on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NX2VK6K?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
I get my labels from Etsy and use these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B089LHX8Q6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My shop is small so if you're sending out many orders a day it's not the best solution, but it looks a lot more professional than taping imo.
These are the half-sheet labels I use for eBay.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYPSK40/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They work pretty well. Only problem with them I have is when I sheet feed them through a second time (to print the second label) the label gets very slightly "toner dirty" but I use a cheap Brother printer so that's probably more a printer thing than the labels themselves.
>I am not understanding exactly what you want to do
Sorry! Let me be more specific then.
I have as of right now 8 unique images that I want to fit onto 8 Credit Card sized cards (3.37x2.125in). To do that I bought 8.5x11in sticker paper, specifically this make and brand, and my goal is that when the image is printed I can use scissors to cut the individual stickers out and apply them to the cards.
My problem is I do not know how to get each of these 8 images onto one sheet of paper and I do not not know how to make sure these images are exactly the size I want. I tried googling how many pixels are per inch, but apparently that can change on a variety of factors.
> I’m thinking bubble mailers/envelopes?
Bubble mailers are a good choice. They're lightweight, come in a wide variety of sizes, and offer good protection. Envelopes are meant to hold documents.
>Does anyone print the shipping label and just tape it on or does it have to be a sticker
You can tape shipping labels right onto your packaging. Half sheet shipping labels like these work well too. You print labels on them using a normal printer, but you can peel the back off of them and attach the labels to your package as if it were a big sticker.
> what sort of shipping do you use? Are you shipping from the US? If so, USPS First Class Parcel is usually the best choice. Check out https://www.pirateship.com/rates and experiment with different shipping options.
> And do you ship internationally as well? Yes, but I didn't at first. I think it's better to get a handle on domestic shipping before dealing with the complexities of international shipping
They make this stuff called “Sticker Paper” that’s stupidly cheap for 100 sheets. It basically runs through your printer by peeling off the backing and press your fabric down right ONTO the sticker paper. You trim all the edges so that the fabric is the same size as the sticker/a sheet of paper, and then you put the fabric stuck to the sticker paper right through your printer! After it prints you peel off the sticker paper and you’re all set! 🤗
I was skeptical at first, but it honestly worked SO well. And there was a lot less resistance with the needle since it didn’t have to go through anything except the fabric. You don’t have to wash it off or anything either, as long as you’ll be stitching over any lines that are printed. Here’s a link if you’re interested: sticker paper
The only downside to the Sticker paper is that you can only do hoops that are about 6-7” large.. because your whole piece of fabric needs to be cut and go through the printer.
Here is a quick video on how the process works, if you need it:print on fabric
I have a Brother laser printer and half-sheet adhesive labels and that works really well (and cheap.) I bought the printer years ago and I'm only getting to the end of my first toner cartridge.
These are the ones I use. My items also are $8 to $10 plus buyer pays shipping. The labels are too big for my packaging so I do have to hand cut them after it’s printed. I’m going to look for smaller ones once my current pack runs out.

There are adhesive labels that work in a regular printer. It's the size of a normal size paper split into two halves = 2 labels per sheet. For laser printers I recommend changing the settings to Paper Type: Heavy Paper so it adheres better.

FYI, if you're not shipping much, you could just buy shipping labels that are normal letter page A4 size and go in a regular printer.

No idea about this brand just looked up first one on Amazon.
Sorry for delay, didn't see your reply. To be honest I'm not really sure about printable vinyl. Print and cut drives me too crazy to use it very often. As far as sticker paper goes, I use this brand for labels and it is pretty difficult if not impossible to remove once placed. It does print color nicely as well, and the same company also makes a repositionable version in case that's what you're looking for. If you're looking for longevity from sticker paper, it never hurts to add some kind of topcoat.
Not sure how well that one will work, but it’s worth a try! This is the printable sticker paper I use and it works really well
I have had luck just buying these sheets on Amazon, and using my wireless printer. I may eventually switch, but have been really happy w these. I love printing from my phone, so this is a big reason for me to use these.

So this stuff is okay. It does the job. Great for beginners, but it can be harder to get the needle through if you’re doing really tight stitches. And it can get your needle sorta sticky. If I have a hoop that’s larger and have to use this stuff, I will only use it to stitch my outlines and then dissolve it, THEN let it dry and embroider everything else.
With that said, they make something called Sticker Paper that you can use to print DIRECTLY onto fabric. It’s amazing if your hoop is about 7” or under (can’t be larger than a sheet of paper, essentially).
There are YouTube videos out there on how to use it, but the instructions are pretty straight forward and it’s cheaper!! Definitely worth trying out if you don’t like the dissolvable stuff. 🤗
I debated purchasing a label printer for months. I kept adding one to my cart, then removing it, then adding it back. They're so expensive. I finally ordered one and I love it. It saves me so much time.
That said, you can also print shipping labels on a regular printer. All you need (besides the printer itself) is half sheet labels. I did this for a long time and it worked decently well.
I would get a printable vinyl like this and cover it with some clear vinyl (glossy or matte- both would work). I used that method making some water bottles for a family reunion and it worked great!
