It isn't complicated. You go to your car's dealer, possibly AutoZone, or spend $10 on Amazon and use your own drill. Or look up '[year] [make] [model] front license plate mount'. Literally no excuse to take care of this.
License plates are often stolen for use in a crime. To prevent this, buy security license plate screws. They’re <$10 on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08HCV97BP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_KoTbGbD7F2596
It’s not yet available, but Amazon/Ring have a car security product coming out: https://ring.com/announcements
I used these guys here. They seem to work fine albeit a bit on the short side, still, they work for me even with a license plate cover.
I agree sir anyways here ya go
I wanna do a grille delete or a custom car grill next since I fucked up blacking out the grille haha
Hey, the TX carbon fiber plate! Did you have to wait for yours? When I got my WRX 4 years ago, I fell in love with it, but the website said it was "gauging interest" and I was put on a waitlist... and then about 2 years ago, I guess they finally got enough interest to make them.
Also, have you thought about a license plate frame? It hides all the white, which I think looks amazing:
Lots of options on Amazon and EBay. Either Tesla branded or non. I just have a carbon fiber frame on both MYPs to match our spoilers.

Missing trim? If you mean the tow hook cover, the plate kit gives you placement options to completely cover it.
I always use these, stainless so they don't rust and they have caps that cover them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HCV97BP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title
Looks like it’s still available on Amazon.
I bought a cheep universal “front” license plate mount from Amazon. It bolts in the stock holes from the tire mount.

You can buy them on Amazon and I presume other places, but I don’t think it’s a significant enough problem to worry about. Thieves are just car jacking the entire vehicle these days.

Bought this of Amazon link
I just did it last night on my 2018 GT. Not thrilled with it but it works. There’s tiny mount holes on the front I just used a teeny little drill bit on one of the middle holes and this kit: Trunknets Inc Universal Front... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RIVG814?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I waited for them to have those in stock for a couple months after I got my '16 WRX (I told my dealer I wouldn't accept the car if it had holes drilled). I got sick of waiting so I did it for a lot cheaper:
Bracket for $10 (cheaper can be had for $5 on there as well but this is what I used)
2 Well nuts and stainless steel screws ($5 at my local Ace Hardware)
so for as little as $10 this can be done if you're willing to put in a small amount of effort. In my case, had other stuff ordered from amazon so I was already paying shipping.. plus I drive by the hardware store every day anyway.
Also the well nuts have a rubber collar that sits between the bracket and the bumper, gently spacing it away from the paint. from the pictures it doesn't look like the adapter foundry one has that
Another tip if you get personalized plates make sure you get some sort of anti-theft device for your plates (both front and back). The reason is if one or both of your plates are stolen the same plate cannot be reissued so you would "lose" your personalized plate.
Here are a couple of examples of anti-theft devices.
The correct size for the screws is 5mm(or M5), these are probably M6 which seems to be much more common. I actually just bought some anti-theft screws off amazon for $13, they are M6 but my license plate already has the wrong size screws in it so I'm hoping they'll work. Here is the set I bought, here is an Etsy store that has a few options in the right size. Hope this helps!
Oh and also, sweet leggings.
i completely agree. It doesn't stand out as much as i thought it would which is nice. is that the CTS front mount ?
if you're interested, i picked up this cheap bracket off amazon so i could raise up my license plate and open up the grill more. i think its way better this way: https://imgur.com/a/bLOMzEe
plugging the bumper holes and using a tow hook mount wasn't really an option for me.
There are kits you can get that allow you to mount your license plate on a bracket that uses your tow hook mounting point, so it requires no drilling or marking on your bumper. Here's the one I purchased. DC Sports LPR-100 License Plate Mounting Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076VXV4DP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RJS0Db9GS86YY
Just go to autozone or pep boys at whatever and ask for license plate screws.
Edit: literally just googled "license plate screws"

I got 2 well nuts & below kit off Amazon:

No need, they'll grip the plastic plenty tightly. They should look like this. Auto parts stores should have them.
You need these https://www.amazon.com/BPARTS-Stainless-License-Screws-Fasteners/dp/B00B5ZYY38/ then go to your mechanic and make that dumbass drill out those rivets and replace them with the proper fasteners. Or just drill them out yourself and put those things in.
