I used it for both. I love the stuff! It's what Benetint tint was supposed to be, but longer lasting, and you can buy it on Amazon for less than five bucks.
If you are a winter, which I’m fairly sure you are, we just look better with a stronger lip—typical nudes look muddy and wash us out. I like most of these on you (except 6 & 7), but something more subtle (yet still cool) like Revlon Balm Stain in Honey is really nice for me (true winter). I like Etude House's Dear Darling Lip tint: https://www.amazon.com/Etude-House-Darling-Water-3color/dp/B01MXXC5F8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=etude+house+lip+tint&qid=1611945352&sr=8-1
Hahaha, I want to enable you! I love trying different products as well! I've found some good 'cheap' products that work really well. I really like the Maybelline Lash Sensational Volumizing Mascara. It's got a great brush and a bit of a thicker formula, which I really like. Doing your eye make-up before your foundation helps you not get shimmery and multi-coloured undereyes from your eyeshadows! I also really like those lip colour peels! They're fun! And great for long-lasting colour!
Thanks, that's helpful to know! And my friend just recommended it to me, I'm in love with the color too! It's the Peripera Ink the Velvet Lip Tint in the shade #017 Rosy Nude, let me know if you like it if you decide to buy it :D
Ooh, i was on this quest too! peripera’s nudy rose and Romand’s burny nude are both nice, burny nude benefits from a touch of concealer on the lips before to get a truer tone. Hope that helps!
Hi! I'm a bridal MUA and this is what I call my "bride color" : https://www.amazon.com/Revlon-7210639001-Balm-Stain-Honey/dp/B008HP2VRU
It's a balm stain so it's not super highly pigmented, it's just a nice little flush of nude/pink that looks nice on everyone. It's what I use on all my brides, 99% of the time that's the color they pick out of my kit themselves. I'll be wearing it on my own wedding day next month!
Also keep in mind what type of lip product you are using. This appears to be a liquid lipstick maybe; I think those always look fake and look good on few people.
I am a huge fan of lip stains! They look so much better because there's no actual physical product on the lips. The one I use is a red liquid, after application it absorbs instantly and tints the lips. It very rarely needs to be reapplied. Honestly, lip stains changed my life. I know that's dramatic.
I have these Etude House water tints in 3 shades. They’re literally colored water and give off soft, just-ate-a-popsicle vibes.

I agree with trying anything colourpop. I love their tinted moisturizer and you can find any color story of eyeshadow palette that you want to try! The going coconuts palette gets rave reviews for more natural looks!
Personally I think the most important "foundation" step for a natural look is finding a good moisturizer that makes you skin look/feel super healthy, in combination with a good exfoliating routine. Depending on your skin type you could google "best moisturizer for dry skin" etc.
For natural lip looks I love lip balms or stains. Burt's bees has some fun tinted balms that are also moisturing for winter, I also really enjoy stains like these ones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXXC5F8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_7Y.6Fb1Z1DK48 for a natural and easy look.
I second Essence lash princess mascara it's all I buy anymore :)
I also think and important part of "natural" looks is eyebrows, so finding a good eyebrow pencil/gel and tweezing/waxing as needed could be helpful too depending on how your brows look naturally :)
Has anyone tried lip tint stains like this? Is there a brand you'd recommend? I'm not sure I trust random international items on Amazon with iffy reviews, which is all I've found so far.
I bought these recently and love them! You get three different colors, they are light weight, and last a long while. Plus you can make the pigment as light or dark as you want depending on how much you put on.

(Hope that link works.)
Also - I just stumbled upon this oh my goodness, it looks so pretty and light! Anyone here ever try a "water tint" (lip color) before? I never saw anything like it!
Oddly enough this look is crazy popular in South Korea right now. They have berry colored lips stains as well.
Enjoy!
I found it on Amazon
Not sure about the price elsewhere, but it's an option. So many gorgeous colors!
Anyone know why the Black Dahlia lip tar is so expensive? Even the travel size is $15 (for comparison, other full-size tubes are $19), and I really want to try some of it.
Hi! So I don't wear a ton of make up anymore since having my son, but I have a few things I always use!
Coconut Oil for moisturizer and removing make up. You need to be careful with that though since it tends to break a lot of people out so if you ever want to try then make sure you spot check! I like to put it all over my face then use a dry washcloth to wipe off the extra and it makes my face crazy soft. I've actually been needing to buy more since my husband put his penis in it.
Sunscreen! I love neutragenas face sunscreen.
BB cream!! I love this stuff because it's super light and awesome and doesn't make it look like I'm wearing a ton of make up!
Mascara! Clump crusher will always be my favorite! I like to go with dark brown.
Aaaaand lip balm! http://www.amazon.com/Revlon-ColorBurst-Stain-Honey-Ounce/dp/B008HP2VRU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422676464&sr=8-1&keywords=revlon+honey this stuff is my absolute favorite and I've heard it looks good on everyone!
Steph, do this!
