I know you're trying not to buy online but FWIW I got a gorgeous monstera that arrived in great shape and has grown to be incredibly lush and beautiful from these guys on amazon. I was skeptical ordering a plant online but it arrived quickly, was packaged great and was super healthy.
I got it about 4 months ago from this amazon listing, I was amazed how beautiful and full it was when I got it. Maybe it's gotten better since 😁.
Do you think I should crosspost this post I made the other day?
I don't know if you're in the US or not, but I've been really wanting one as well. I can't get out to the nurseries myself (migraines), so just ordered this one off Amazon:
Monstera Deliciosa I haven't received it yet, but I've received other plants from them and had great success.
Good luck! :)
I got a beautiful young plant back in April from Amazon of all places. It came in a 6" pot and was so big I split it into two and have 2 happy plants. Check the seller JM Bamboo. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MUY4TCE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got mine here on Amazon! It had TONS of leaves when it shipped in January and there's already a bunch more uncurling.
I got a great Monstera from Hirt's Garden on Amazon! It was well packed, everything was in tact, and bigger than I had anticipated (I ordered a 6" pot). Ive had it since February and it has at least doubled in size...there are like 5 new stems popping out right now. Highly reccomend if you can't find them locally like myself!!

Here’s the Amazon link for the one I ordered in 2017. I’ve had a lot of success with Costa Farms on Amazon. I don’t remember paying $42 for it though.
Sorry for the shitty picture. I bought this succulent on Amazon from Costa Farms: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079J38TYD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
It's a Haworthia.
As you can see from the pic, the bottom of the leaves are all brown. Will this revert back to green? Or is it a lost cause?
Should I try to save it, or just contact the company?
Oh and you can also order not only through the Hirts website but they (and other sellers) sell through Amazon too. Here's a link to where I ordered my monstera from: https://www.amazon.com/Split-Leaf-Philodendron-Pot-Pineapple/dp/B00MUY4TCE

There are $10 ones from ebay but aren't from professional plant sellers
Okay, thank you! May I ask where you purchased yours? Local nursery? I was looking at this one as well from Amazon
Does a Ficus Juniper exist?
Found a small one on amazon that claims to be a "ficus juniper" but I can't seem to find anything else on the internet mentioning the same species. I'm looking primarily for indoor, and I know junipers do not do well indoors, but the description for this one states that it is an indoor plant.
If anyone can tell me what type of tree this is or if it will survive indoors, that would be awesome!
EDIT: Y’all seem to really love my monstera and have some questions for me.
Honestly I’ve gotten so lucky with mine.
1) I got it off amazon so I didn’t expect it to thrive! Here is the link:
JM BAMBOO Split Leaf Philodendron 6" Pot https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MUY4TCE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_G76HEbFYZPS7A
2) I got it as a baby! So it had lots of time to get used to the environment in my apartment. I HIGHLY encourage you to get one that is a baby or very young / small so it can get used to your living space & wherever you plan to have it be. Do this with most of your plants.
3) I water it two pedialyte bottles worth of water every Wednesday. I also mist her in between.
4) She loves light but not super direct light. Currently about ~8 feet from an Eastern facing window.
4) Once it gets to be older and bigger, I encourage you to get plant double sided Velcro to gather the branches closer together so it doesn’t look so messy. Here’s an amazon link:

I found mine on Amazon. So happy with it!
