Mic looks like a Shure SM7B. Arm is probably this https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Compass-Premium-Tube-Style-Broadcast/dp/B078MLBGRM/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=blue+arm+mic&qid=1561659814&s=gateway&sr=8-3
Just wanted to chime in, but you can get the boom arm and shock mount for around $20 on amazon.
I’ve seen a couple on amazon that have a clamp to attach to the side of your desk. I’d look to see if they’re the appropriate size for your desk!! (Similar to this: InnoGear Microphone Arm, Upgraded Mic Arm Microphone Stand Boom Suspension Stand with 3/8" to 5/8" Screw Adapter Clip for Blue Yeti Snowball, Yeti Nano, Yeti x and other Mic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L3LL95O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UGsgFbGG1TSC2)
Will drop you a follow, my twitch name is above^ :)
Not OP (wish I were with a setup like that) but I think he is using the Blue blah blah I forget linked here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078MLBGRM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_EQQZP4CHPZNQVW8SX406?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’ll share a little secret with all of you. These are effing awesome. Microphone shock mounts that are generic that have little squeeze clips to adjust the width when you insert a microphone or a toy. Hitachi works, most vibrators etc… the nice thing is it screws to standard microphone hardware and mic stands for positioning. https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-Microphone-Suspension-Broadcasting-Voice-over/dp/B00C86FA0E
The lights on the wall are Nanoleaf Shapes. The mic mount is just a basic Amazon generic "mic mount". I have no idea which one it is now.
I'm waiting to pull the trigger on a Blue Mic Arm. Those things are *chefs kiss* - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Microphones-Compass-Tube-Style-Broadcast/dp/B078MLBGRM/
I literally just bought that last night on Amazon. $46 and it's Prime as opposed to like $80 from the Blue website.
Glad to hear further positive feedback than I already have on it.
I highly recommend getting the shock mount for the Yeti, the stand is basically a giant tuning fork, and my sound improved tenfold when I added the shock mount. I also purchased a very cheap Mic stand, and a 5lb weight to hold it down (because it's top-heavy).
I use Adobe Audition, I tried GarageBand, but found it wasn't quite up to snuff for what I was trying to do. With Audition I've created custom noise gate filters which help remove extra sounds.
Hey! It’s the Neweer Adjustable stand off of amazon, with the official blue pop filter. Also grab one of these.. the threading mount that comes with the boom stand is trash.
On Stage MA200 5/8-Inch Male to 3/8-Inch Female Mic Screw Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001H5OSCI?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
It's the Samson SP1 Spider mount. It's specifically for the Samson mic but it fit my AT2020 USB okay (it could spin a bit).
You can get it on Amazon here. (US Link)
I think it's this one, specifically for my Blue Yeti mic:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CN2C93T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_KistCb7SSBJQC
It's clamped to the top shelf of my standing desk, behind the JBL monitor on the left, and is easy to swivel towards me for recording.
I'd search Amazon for "(your mic type) arm stand" to see if there's something similar for you.
✌️
If you want your setup to be clean, i would personally recommend wireless peripherals (an alternative is to cut a little slice in you mouse pad and cut a small hole in your desk to route your cables through), maybe some fake ikea plants and a single color mousepad (maybe a similar color just no patterns. I would also recommend a boom arm for your microphone ( https://www.amazon.com/InnoGear-Microphone-Windscreen-Suspension-Snowball/dp/B07CN2C93T/ ). other than that its pretty dang clean. nice setup.
I have both mics, so I feel I can comment. First off, out of the box, that shock mount will not work with the Yeti. You might need an adapter. It will however work with the AT2020 stock out of the box. The yeti is so heavy that shock mount will just flop over anyway.
Blue Yeti - This was my first higher end mic from my (then) crappy headphones. It is a beast, its heavy and pretty big. But it does have a ton of options on the mic itself which give some flexibility and comes with a high quality stand if you do not have a suspension arm. It has many different dials. All of which I use, including volume, gain, cardioid selector. It also has which is nice a built in 3.5mm jack. I used to stream with just ear buds in through my PC 3.5mm input. I could not hear myself when I talked, but it wasnt a big deal. Then I got some Bose noise cancelling headsets. With the same setup, I REALLY could not hear myself. So the blue yeti allowed me to plug straight into the mic and control my headset volume on the fly. There is a shock mount but its REALLY bad. There are a ton of bad reviews on it so I will not even link it. I was hard headed and got it anyway, after about a week I needed about 10 zip ties to keep it up on my suspension arm. The threading quality on the mount is just crap.
The AT2020 - Its cheaper and has a bit better sound quality. It has a nice shock mount options mounts easily on most suspension arms. http://www.amazon.com/Samson-Technologies-SP01-Spider-Shockmount/dp/B000LQLDM2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1429047499&sr=8-3&keywords=at2020+shock+mount Its lighter and more stylish looking IMO. BUT...it does not have as many options as the yeti. As someone who doesnt have a mixer currently, that limits me alot. Its basically just a mic that plugs into your USB, thats it.
Hope this helps!
It's the Logitech-made Blue Compass Arm. I would say it's just okay and it's pretty finicky to adjust. It's pretty expensive and it works no better or worse than the $20 microphone arm from Amazon I used before.
thank you for the recommendation! after some time of reverse image searching, it seems to be something LIKE this, not 100% sure if it's that same one though. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L3LL95O?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image&th=1
There are cheaper ones that are similar... but I hate money... so why not.
My setup is very similar to yours. You may not be into it, but I’m rockin with a Blue Compass mic arm, which I strongly recommend. It’s minimal, sleek as hell, and isn’t an eye sore like other mic arms/ stands would be. Pair that with any XLR mic of your choosing, and it’ll put your Scarlet Solo to good use, other than just specifically for your speakers.
Here’s a link.
I bought a pretty cheaply priced desk mount one with an antishock mount and it works amazingly. It was no more then 40 bucks. I'll see if I can find the one I went with.

I use the Blue Compass arm. I do recommend it but know that if you tighten the articulating joints too tight, it can break rather easily. The other alternative is the Rode boom arm, but I personally think it's hideous so I went with the Blue Compass. Can't complain!
It’s the AT2020 mic with and the stand and the muffler is from Amazon. It sounds like there are a few things going on, some technical, some not.
For the technical side, I'd repeat what u/scriminal said: make sure the mic is only a few inches from your mouth and adjust your gain accordingly. Don't place the mic across your desk, it should be right next to you. Take a look at radio hosts -- their mics are usually 3-6" away from their mouths at all times. This is why boom stands are great, they allow you the flexibility to put the mic where it needs to be. Proper mic placement and gain adjustment will get you like 85% of the way there.
As for the non-technical side, it sounds like you need to figure out what you're doing this for -- money? popularity? passion? Once you find your motivation, you can start building confidence and "find your voice" so-to-speak. Get more comfortable hearing yourself, and maybe take a few lessons with a (unbiased) vocal coach. The goal is to be natural, not stressing over enunciation / pacing / breathing all the time.
The CM25 is ~45mm in diameter, so any generic shockmount that holds LDCs that large should work.
Probably this one or something very similar. They look fresh, but man they are expensive. The spring arm ones are cheaper and imo they work really well for the price.
I am fairly certain this would work (link). You could either screw the mic straight into the stand or use the shock mount.
Not op but I believe it is the Blue Compass boom arm , I suspect op purchased this blue yeti + shockmount + boom arm bundle
Innogear boom arm, super cheap. It's squeaky, too short, and it shakes out of place easily. I'm not too upset about it considering how cheap it is. I think it's fair for the price, I just wish I spent more on something better.
I think the channel should be about your channel. You need to bring your artistic side to this and play with different logo and name ideas. I would suggest a name that is quite common and easy to find. Could be Initials or could be what you want to bring worth. Do you want to be seen as a person or do you need to edit them differently. Do you want to use the specific background for your videos ( This is mostly success-related, and people are coming to see you in your own zone where you greet people.) For video style themselves people like theatrical approach, so you need to find a sound and the style you want to present. Some people do not have what it takes, because their personality can seem very lacking and s not made for the camera. So I would suggest certain prototypes for you to film and edit, to find what you want to do with your channel.
Is it ministry-related, or more closely with people, so it is easier for them to connect. Is it for Christians or is it for people who have not been saved yet. You want to marginalize your subject group because it makes your job easier to find the way you want to communicate to your audience. You cannot have it all, because that won't work and will be a mess.
For video editing, there are a lot of free sources you can get. I guess it comes to a preference. Make a small video and try different editing programs that feel the best for you to use! You can also read reviews on the internet and watch some tutorials that people have on youtube.
For the microphone, I suggest the HyperX SoloCast, because it is affordable, and it's great for content creation. I also suggest this, so you can get the mic closer to your mouth https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CN2C93T?linkCode=gs2&tag=92508-21, but it is not necessary if you can hold the mic on your table, but closer it is the better sound it has.
