It's a re-creation of an old Roman coin. Often marketed as "widow's mites" and sold to churches and bible studies.
Hyperinflation is here!!!! $6.83 now. ( free shipping though )
100 Plastic Pennies cost $6.79

The plastic pennies have more value than the currency pennies.

I know, right? It's like they weren't really trying.

They don't even accept these in Trump's own casinos! RIP OFF!!!
On a more serious note, have a look at the video review on this Amazon page and tell me the dude narrating isn't doped up on copium (or maybe literally opium with how much he's slurring his speech)
It is not a real penny. It is one of these https://www.amazon.com/Learning-Advantage-Pennies-Plastic-Coins/dp/B00872WTHU. The CEOs kids have outgrown this and they are no longer needed.

in an end of the world scenario my plan is to distract the hoards with cash while i run away to my taco tank.
These coins were in the bags. They aren’t worth anything. But he bought them I think 9 years ago and they’ve just been sitting in a closet. The coin seems completely irrelevant to the QR code
Looks like a modern replica of a Biblical widow's mite. These were made to be handed out in Sunday School classes, etc.

Hah. Deal, but only physical for physical. I get a physical book, you get physical bitcoins. Looks like 3 are worth $10 on amazon. That seems like a fair price for a book
That seems like the edge of the bill. There are multiple layers of them just like the bills. If it was an envelope there would only be one layer. Plus if it was really accidentally shredded there would be whole strips of dollars, not 1 inch strips.
Plus you can buy shredded money on Amazon that looks almost exactly like this.
Do a movie night at your parents house. Coming To America. When the King shows up and is rude to his girlfriend’s dad, turn to yours and say “I hope BF’s dad doesn’t treat you that way” and then make it rain with one of these:

Depends. Fake money money is totally legal as long as it's clearly labeled as fake or copy or the like.
However, if they just photographed an actual 10-dollar bill and slapped that unedited photography on the cover of a religious tract the size and shape of a 10-dollar bill, that's likely illegal.
> I suggest buying them from waiters, put them in collection plate and take same ammout minus $1.
Also illegal as well as a dick move.
Yeah, sorry. It's definitely a reproduction of a Greek lepton that was still in use in Judea at the time of Jesus , which features in the story of the Widow's Mite.

These replicas are handed out in Sunday school classes, etc. You can buy a bag of 50 of them on Amazon for $10.98 plus shipping.

It's useful as teaching realia and as a novelty, but not really worth anything. We see them here and on /r/coins somewhat frequently.
