Why are you cheaping out on the arm? Please don’t ruin your stuff like this. The Amazon page itself says it’s for up to 34” screens. The weight distribution of a 49” curved monitor is so different from anything within the rated specs of that mounting arm.
Get one like this: Ergotron HX Ultrawide Monitor Arm Desk Mount with HD Pivot- for Screens 20-42 lbs- Bright White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0959D7XDM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_YSYXJTM3NPAHDSD8HC1C
If you use the $20 gas spring monitor mount from Amazon you'll have a ton of desk real estate.

Was thinking about getting this one on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FRWONKI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Reviews seems pretty good
Yeah airflow/cooling and just the dust and fibers that come from carpet aren't that great. I'm on carpet as well in my rig room and picked up this glass riser that worked out well.
I hate having the canvas dangling from the desk hitting my legs with smaller sizes, so I didn’t know how I was gonna deal with this larger one. I imagined something that could hold the canvas under the desk, but then I saw a monitor riser on Amazon and I knew that’s what I wanted!
I got this one: Dual Monitor Stand - HUANUO AV Double Articulating Monitor Arm Desk Mount - Adjustable VESA Bracket with C Clamp, Grommet Mounting Base for Two 13-27 Inch LCD Computer Screens - Holds up to 17.6lbs https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07SSRJ6Z8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_J01P7HNKZTX6J21M2CJC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's been great so far, no complaints with my very heavy monitor. The only thing I slightly wish it had is separate height adjustment for each monitor, but aside from that it has quite a lot of adjustability
Thanks, I ordered this from Amazon Canada, but here is the equivalent Amazon US link.
It's called the Monoprice Large Multimedia Desktop Stand. It's only 11" in-depth, so the back of the monitor stand just hangs off a tiny bit in the back of the stand. The stand is very sturdy since it's glass, and it gave me enough clearance for the Audioengine speakers to fit underneath the monitor.
And you indeed correct. I am using Steam's Wallpaper Engine for the Shadows Die Twice wallpaper.
I ordered this from Amazon Canada, but here is the equivalent Amazon US link
I got the WALI mount from amazon. I used to have 2 monitors up top but when I upgraded I just got a single mount and added it to the mounting pole.

I used to have an after market adapter ages ago. This one I think:
VIVO Adapter VESA Mount Kit, Bracket Set for Apple 21.5 inch and 27 inch iMac Late 2009 to Current Models LED Display Computer Stand-MACB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RW9F336/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FM2QMNHZHHQ52M9VHFDX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Keep in mind you need a very sturdy arm especially if you want to use this on a 27”.
Sorry for the Amazon link, but here's what I ordered:

It arrived WITHOUT the glass bit. lmao. Amazon refunded me but let me keep the legs. Funny enough, those are all i really needed.
Maybe something like this would work:
Oh and the link is Canadian but hopefully you can find something similar if you’re outside Canada.
Actually yeah, it a brand called "Mountup" on Amazon

I do/did this too. I have all my monitors on quick releases (ergotron) and arms, then bought a collapsable stand like this for those moments you just need a stand. I've used it during travel in the hotel room, etc.
If you cannot find a simple solution, a monitor stand might be useful, I use this with my LG 29UM67:
My desk is wobbly so it didnt solve the problem of me hitting my desk and it wobbles, but the mount is strong enough to keep it from losing its position. the moving parts can be adjusted with the tools provided with the mount.
If you can (assuming this isn't a desk at work or a glass desk), you can buy a mount that screws in to the wood like this one from Amazon.
I have this and have been very happy with it
Monoprice Large Multimedia Desktop Stand - Black Glass (30.8 x 11in) Stand & Riser, Laptop Stand, Desktop TV Stand, Dual Monitors w/Height Adjustable Legs - Workstream Collection (116359) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M2ZGGB2/
After impulse purchasing this Dual Monitor Stand on Amazon (I don’t like the look of monitor arms) I realized I could make this item far cheaper from some pieces at Ikea. Dual Monitor Stand
I used a set of Capita legs and a Bergshult shelf (47 1/4 x 11 3/4) It’s exactly the same length as my Linnmon Desktop and holds two 27 inch curved Sceptre monitors.
Thanks, the two verticals are Samsung 24inch 1080p, the centre is a 27inch 1080p 165hz EG monitor, so all the same resolution. A triple monitor mount offamazon. I run 2 inputs, work laptop and personal PC, so I have a HDMI switch on all 3 monitors to switch between the two.
If I wobble the desk the monitors don’t sway, they are very sturdy.

I ordered Ergotron Hx monitor arm for my G9 Neo. I did some research and got the feeling that cheaper options just cannot support the weight of G9. I'm still waiting for the arm to be delivered so we'll see how it is.

I use it on a 15.6 in monitor mounted to this stand like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Wearson-WS-03A-Adjustable-Folding-100x100mm/dp/B00XUF2GBI/ref=sr_1_3?crid=358T6RJIVSJRJ&keywords=Monitor+stand+vesa+low&qid=1662303850&sprefix=monitor+stand+vesa+low%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-3
Quality is mostly plastic, but it feels solid when mounted. The whole assembly will jiggle and move if I am moving it around some, but that’s not due to the mount I think, it feels pretty stable.
The tablet might move a small bit, the monitor I use is thin and the grips are designed to accommodate thicker devices, but if I don’t touch,or at least don’t have a heavy touch, it it doesn’t move. If you have a case on it I would guess it would move very little.
The points where it touches the tablet are all soft so I don’t think it will scratch the tablet.
I looked for similar items and could not find alternatives. I have a tab s8 ultra, I can try and mount it later on my vesa wall arm and see how this does.
Hey, it arrived today and I took some pictures while setting it up.
Here's the ALBUM.
Quick thoughts:
- I was afraid I messed up because I did not check the table clamp range (which is 10mm to 50mm). For me it worked on a ~55mm table, give or take.
- Movements are really smooth compared to the North Bayou gas spring mount that I had. I'm one to move the monitor around a lot, so it comes in handy.
- Installation was pretty straight forward, I would call it easy if it wasn't because of my shit cable management skills.
I use these:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z7ZM8CJ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are cheap and go low enough that I sometimes accidentally bang my desk with the bottom of the monitor. I've been pretty happy with them.
Yep no problem. It’s here on Amazon. You can (and I did) change the order of the single vs double monitor arms.
The top monitor is a Acer Predator CG437K, 43in 4k lcd. The bottom monitor is a Samsung 34in ultrawide - it was previously my main monitor before the Predator was available as an open box item at Microcenter and I scooped it up.
I removed the original stand from the Samsung and used an adjustable stand from Amazon to get it positioned just right. It’s also mounted upside down (and rotated 180) to direct the cables easier.
The big monitor is wall mounted on the right wall and on a swing arm to center it in the corner. It was a mount I already had lying around.
Thanks! This is the monitor arm that I'm using

Despite them both being 34 inches
