I've got a couple Dymo Rhino 5200. Got them off amazon with the case for like $120. https://www.amazon.com/Industrial-RHINO-Label-Maker-1756589/dp/B002M1HKLC/
Love the thing, TON of labeling options. Only thing you gotta watch is using the right labels, especially when wrapping them around a cable. The plastic labels unravel, but the nylon labels stay wrapped even with heat.
Get yourself some of the nylon labels and go nuts. Nylon is better at being wrapped around cables in my experience, plus resists unwrapping to heat like the plastic labels. I've used this thing in two different jobs now and I cannot recommend another. So many options.
The should be able to deliver the product, you can get the same thing just not in bandaid form for less than $2 on amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/Sun-Meter-UV-card-Plastic/dp/B003P645CU/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_121_bs_lp_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=QYB8KSMYC0YH5K6QHTRK
However, holy photoshop batman. Compare their still images of the product (no visible clear sticker) with the video (ugly ass clear bandage)
Ferrule tips are also pretty dope. Very quick and robust.
Heat shrink labeler tape is probably my guilty pleasure though. Scratches my brain just right.
Brady BMP21 will do cable wraps from the labels.
I also put things in clear zipper pouches based on type of cable of fully packaged setups (usb hub power and TB3, etc), depending on what I’m trying to do. Sometimes it’s easier to put a keyring tag on the bag to explain what it is vs labeling everything individually.
I've got a Brother PT-1830 that takes "TZ" tape (3.5-18mm) and I printed heat-shrink labels for my Voron 2.4 wiring needs. I bought just one size, labeled 5.8mm and it worked just fine for all of wiring. I was able to label individual wires as well slipping a pair of them through.
I bought this off-brand generic product from Amazon and have been pleased with the result.
not sure if you know these exist, but i really like them for labeling wires at each end instead of just a flag style label in the middle.

Dymo Rhino 5200. You can’t go wrong. Works great for cables, panels, and general labels. Careful which tapes you buy, some of the knock-offs are terrible. Nylon labels work best and work when the labeler has been in a cold vehicle all night.

Thanks! Yeah definitely don't need something that crazy like the Wraptor. Curious if you ever tried out Brother's flexible ID tape that is meant for cable wraps? And how it compares to the regular tapes?
Dymo is great if you pay the extra price for the industrial version.
I'm seeing expensive options on here but in all reality all you need is a fine point pen, good hand writing, and a sticky label sheet. Or go with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/ZipTape-Wire-Label-Dispenser-markers/dp/B003I7QKUQ/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1549386183&sr=8-10&keywords=cable+label+sheet
Could be bad genetics? Nature isn't perfect, and sometimes it makes mistakes.
I didn't mean to accuse, just didn't know if he was a rescue or a pet store dragon.
If your are concerned about your UVB tube (Remember, if it screws into a light socket, it's not suitable for this species!!), then just make sure you replace them every 6 months. We have started to use these to test if a bulb is a dud from the get go. Haven't owned them long enough to tell if they indicate a bulb slowly dying off well...
> I follow a reptile rescuer once and she was concerned about why an MBD chameleon wasn’t improving and she has a solar meter and checked the bulb and it was NEW and turned out to not be giving off UVB... terrifying.
This is why I want to look into offering a UVB monitoring device. You can buy the chip for like $3, so you just need a micro controller to interface with it and display results. Project for the future though....
Sorry, I was talking about this label and design the label on PC using this.
Yeah, maybe you are right. Sticker might destroy or left residue on the carbon fiber like skin. Anyone trying this might need to be careful about what sticker they are sticking there.
Oh that make sense, you are using it on a stand. I only see the first picture.
maybe try something like this? I bought some a while ago, and sorta tested them out a bit (still have to get around to labeling everything though), and they seem to work well, and be meant for the purprose.
One of the Brother P-Touch label makers that will do rotate repeat for cables. And the TZ tapes are pretty reasonable. If you will be labeling wires buy this.
There are different models of the Brother P-Touch labelers and they do different things, you should be able to find the differences online.
I am coming to that conclusion. Recommend any specific labels? I was looking at these.
I have no rubbing issues with these laminated Brother labels that I use in my cheap [PT-Touch 1230C. Very water resistant too. I'm not familiar with Dynamo label makers but maybe there's the equivalent for them?
No this is not an expensive solution at all. The label maker can be had for $50 or so, and the refills are $11 for 26 feet. I find you lose about 1/3 of the label when cutting, but that is still many hundreds of wires. http://www.amazon.com/Brother-Laminated-Flexible-Black-White/dp/B004DCI3QE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424746951&sr=8-1&keywords=brother+flexible+id+tape is an example
