I bought this on Black Friday and it was about $115. Has 3 heat settings and a timer so it will auto shutoff. We also have a MR Buddy propane heater that we use for general garage heating. It's been warm in Colorado but between the two of them it takes about 15 minutes to heat up and after 30 minutes you can turn them off for a while.
>None of the propane campfires have CSA rating apparently.
Approved fire bowls are out there - I have one of these. The generic high margin junk Canadian Tire carries don't seem to have any certs.
We just got something like this but haven't used it yet obviously. When we do closer to the fall I can report back!
I was drinking on a patio that had these in January. It was still cold but not unbearable.
I was in a large detached shed/garage before moving to my current home and now have a garage gym.
The shed was not insulated and had a concrete slab. Based on my experience with this previous structure I would consider:
Godspeed,

from where i come from, apatio heater is a must! super cold at night, but after getting a patio heater, or two, we were outside way more and having dinner outside.
appletastic !
i'd recommend just getting something like this:

open fire doesn't mean covered or uncovered. it describes any combustible fueled fire pit.
Some folks smoke in their garage with a space heater. I found out that mine wasn't enough to keep me warm in freezing weather.
Some folks use a patio heater. I have one like the one in my link, it's nice, puts off a lot of heat, but not really in a large area and if it's windy you still get hit with freezing wind.
Some folks set up an ice fishing hut and then put a small heater inside it.
Thank you. I have Adirondack chairs so I'm thinking this 23" height might be a smidge too much. I'm thinking more like 16" tops.
We’re loving this one; it’s coffee table height: Outland Living Series 403-Espresso Brown Fire Table, Espresso Brown/50,000 BTU https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07SR7MMF9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_C2ZWTV1BFWA2FBWBQTV9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Is that still too high?
I haven’t run it full blast yet, but the description says 200 sq ft. Figuring that with that and a fire pit, we’ll be able to make it at least bearable outside (add beer as needed).
Here’s the one we got - Hampton Bay 48000 Btu Stainless... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9G3T8S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
A day pass at Iwan Ries, Clayton’s, or Biggs Mansion might be worth the price for you but this is the patio heater I have and it’s great. I pull up a chair and get it going and it’s like summer all around https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9G3T8S/
That brazier is much too heavy for Mage Hand to move. (Mage hand lets you move 5 lbs max. The brazier is more like this) The second you move it yourself that door is probably going to come crashing open.
