This is similar to mine. I’d go look at the brand but I currently have a dog sleeping on me. Obviously I can’t disturb her!

Cool idea, but appeal isn't there. This is a $2500 fire pit. You could easily make something similar for free from pallet wood. Or cheap if you bought the lumber. Only tool you'd really need would be a miter saw for a design like this. You do that you'd have a very beautiful fire pit with your own twist.
Is this true for outdoor space heaters that run on propane too? I was kind of thinking about one of these for a smallish outdoor space: Ciays Propane Fire Pits 28 Inch Outdoor Gas Fire Pit, 50,000 BTU Steel Fire Table with Lid and Lava Rock, Add Warmth and Ambience to Gatherings and Parties On Patio Deck Garden Backyard https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GXJTTDN/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_R491F8HRT9AC6XYG8N7B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thank you. I have Adirondack chairs so I'm thinking this 23" height might be a smidge too much. I'm thinking more like 16" tops.
We’re loving this one; it’s coffee table height: Outland Living Series 403-Espresso Brown Fire Table, Espresso Brown/50,000 BTU https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07SR7MMF9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_C2ZWTV1BFWA2FBWBQTV9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Is that still too high?

I've ordered this 40,000 BTU propane powered fire pit table for our patio: http://www.amazon.com/AZ-Patio-Heaters-GS-F-PC-Propane/dp/B008AL8OEU/[1]
It's made of metal with an "antique bronze" finish. I believe that it's powder coated steel. The reviews say that the finish is very prone to scratching and to discoloration if water sits on it. I'd like to nip this in the bud by spraying a protective clear coat on all of the pieces before I assemble it.
What product should I use? Obviously it will need to resist heat without giving off fumes, coming off, or discoloring. It will need to protect from scratches and moisture. Any suggestions? Anything else I should know?
