I dont think so, there is a specific 'Whole Brown' Uncle Bens.

This is what a lot of people use but I use a generic store brand. Idk what OP used. The main thing you are looking for a is precooked “ready rice” not “instant rice” that you have to add your own water. Read this full tutorial https://www.reddit.com/r/unclebens/comments/el1d8q/part_2_inoculating_uncle_bens_for_colonization/ for everything you need
Also, the price on Amazon is ~$22 for a 12 pack of UB's.
That's the lowest been in weeks (thankful for Honey).
EDIT: LINK FOR THE LAZY
A few of my go-to meals are:
PB&J
Salad
Spaghetti w/ marinara
Lentil soup
Red Beans & Rice
Does a side dish/main all in one count? I like easy to make meals, and one I like is to take knorr creamy chicken rice and prepare it per the package and add in bite size chunks of raw chicken breast right at the beginning. By the time the rice is done, so is the chicken.
Makes a one skillet meal and is meat and side in one.

It's cheaper on Amazon delivered free in 2 days if you have Prime https://www.amazon.com/Uncle-Bens-Ready-Rice-Whole/dp/B07GBS8GVH/
I recently took this guys buffalo/ranch chicken recipe. https://youtu.be/nWGboCwVkmQ And added it to the knorr rice dish https://www.amazon.com/Knorr-Flavor-Choose-Flavors-Cheddar/dp/B00QZZMMQY/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1501253903&sr=8-1&keywords=Knorr+queso
It actually came out really well. Brought a block of cheddar with me and some tortillas. Probably the best dehydrated tacos I've had on the trail yet.
This is absolutely horrifying.
Check out Korean microwaveable rice.
Very sticky white rice. It's wayyy more expensive than cooking your own rice, but some people seem to have rice PTSD, so I thought I'd just throw this out there.
It's slightly crunchy if undercooked, yes. But, it's just another grain. If you're not cooking it from scratch (which I recommend doing in chicken or vegetable broth):

The above-linked quinoa mix is great with fish.
Learn to cook well and actually do it. You won't always be able to eat at home but if you can make a habit of eating breakfast and lunch from home and eating dinner out sparingly you will be very surprised how much extra money you have at the end of the month.
Sacks of baker potatoes go well because they can be used many different ways.
Prepackaged rice like this are very good and inexpensive. Cook some of this, saute some spinach and mushrooms - meal. Buy a rotisserie chicken or cook a whole chicken and shred some to add to the rice for a great chicken dinner.
I ate a good deal of Zatarian's boxed red beans and rice and those are cheap, easy and versatile as well.
Most important thing about learning to cook is learning how to incorporate last night's leftovers into tomorrow's meals so you can reuse items without getting boring. Leftover Chicken and vegetables? Make pasta. Leftover pasta and sauce? Make soup. Anyway, that is my .02.
You certainly need to nail down cheap furniture and clothes but I think the biggest hidden cost is your food cost. Good luck!
Scope the reviews. They got me hooked!
