I don't know if OP did, but I have a few specialty shapes hole punchers from my days of scrapbooking, and you definitely can buy them easily and they're sooo simple to use. I just googled, and this was the first one to pop up. I haven't used this brand, but it looks similar to what I have (idk what brand mine are, I got them at Michael's Crafts and they're smaller, this one is large), and it's nice because you can see exactly what you'll be cutting out, so no guesswork and you can line up the pictures exactly right!
DUDE THERE IS! THAT'S SUCH A GOOD IDEA!
Just laser printed on some 110lb cardstock , might insert some Pokémon cards behind for added thickness later.
For the corners I used a Sunstar Kadomaru Pro, Corner Cutter ( https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0076FJ7SS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_B09Z9YEJNC5QAVBTD889 )
Really handy tool, I actually use them to round cardstock player boards and player aids so they don’t get dinged easily (like the thin player boards in Castles of Burgundy)
That is very clever, sir. I love the simplicity.
I would also consider getting an hex punchout. I haven’t tried it, size might be too big, but there is this one in Amazon for $13:

I got this 0.5" circle punch from Amazon and I write what I want on a Rhodia dot pad then punch it out and tape it to the cap with clear tape. Not the easiest thing ever, but you can use whatever paper you want.
I use this one from Fiskars, which let's you see exactly where you're punching.
This is a pretty inexpensive approach. I've seen people use button makers before, but those are expensive, all this stuff together is like 20$ per 100.
The circular punch seems just as cheap as scissors on amazon so I'd probably do that.
Color printing is what, 10 - 20 cents a page these days, so I imagine less than 1 dollar per 100.
Here is mine for paper. It is awesome. It features 3 sizes. Whatever you do, do not get Fiskars (I had to return a few) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0076FJ7SS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For medium to thick cardstock / cardboard I have this one, which I also like a lot but not as practical for light paper.

I just trimmed my gear card dividers to fit in a coin page as page tabs this morning. This corner cutter did a great job making them look nicely finished too.

I've started a massive EPP project to use up all of my scrap fabric. I bought a hexagonal punch thing and use it to cut my own paper pieces out of junk mail, old birthday cards, etc. After that, the only cost is fabric and thread. I keep making a big stash of hexagonal pieces and then put them together into diamond-shaped blocks.
Once I have a big enough stack, I will piece the diamonds into a quilt (then there will also be the cost of batting, backing fabric and binding, but maybe I can be thrifty about that too.)
You could always take the hexagons (or a different shape, if you can find a punch for it) and make smaller items like drawstring gift bags, coasters, etc.
There's a good chance you're looking for this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0076FJ7SS/
I can't tell you how many thousands of corners that thing has perfectly cut for me. As it happens, the one you linked I bought before I found that one - what a piece of garbage! It broke almost immediately. I am specifically saying to avoid that one.
Something like this will also make the cards look more like playing cards.
I'm not endorsing that one specifically. I'm struggling to remember the brand of corner rounder/cutter/puncher that people usually recommend.
I use this https://www.melitta.co.uk/products/filter-papers/original/melitta-original-coffee-filters-size-1x4-40-pack/ and paper puncher https://www.amazon.de/54-30096-Nesting-Paper-Punch-Circle-2-25/dp/B00DJJR3RW/ref=mp\_s\_a\_1\_7?crid=3B3ZANB2AJVMZ&keywords=stapelbarer+niststanzer&qid=1657971520&sprefix=stackable+nesting+punch%2Caps%2C181&sr=8-7

Look into the Kadomaru Pro. Many in the Pnp community consider it the best corner chopper available.

The newer Kadomaru Black also seems to do well, but I don't have personal experience with it.
I'd say make filters for your portafilter to use at the bottom of your basket. Keep in mind you'll probably need to grind a bit finer because the fines won't slow your shot like they do without a portafilter.
I bought a 2.25 inch paper punch an punched filters out of chemex paper, it works perfect for my 58mm portafilter.

Pretty sure this is what you’re after.
Yeah, I figured there must be a good reason. I also suffer from “poor circle cutting skills”.
Have you considered like a scrapbooking punch? EK tools Circle Punch, 1-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C90WM14/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RHPGSD8Y932T8KRVRB6D
If your card is REALLY thick it still may not work but I’d think this would be faster than raising and lowering your crank setup for each token. Especially if you find a punch that has a window allowing you to line it up easily.
I use a rounded corner cutter, and it looks nice.
I got the Sunstar Kadomaru Pro for about $13. It goes down to a 3mm radius corner.
Another accessory you can get that goes well with the laminator is a a corner cutter. I have one like this that works great. Nice rounded corners to have an even more professional look and feel.
Absolutely not! I do get a bit worried that I'm permanently "modding" my components, but the results for having round corners is life changing and helps with having less edge creases and looks more fancier. The corner cutter I got doesn't leave any wear or tear at all! I highly recommend getting one!
There is a Japanese version I have that does three or four different radii. I think the one I have is this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Sunstar-Kadomaru-Corner-Cutter-S4765036/dp/B0076FJ7SS/
Pretty neat if you have a need/want for different radii.
For corner cutting I use this (assuming you would buy from amazon france). I've used for a while another one but just updated recently and love the sunstar. Just cut about 200 corners with the new one so can't guarantee on the long run (but I can guarantee the other one started to fail on the long run, so would still go for the sunstar).
I've always been tempted by Love Letter but the theme seemed too old-school sexist to me. Maybe I should look for a variant.
I like the Kadomaru Pro:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0076FJ7SS/?th=1
Three corner sizes and works very well. I use it mostly to make customized screen protectors for various equipment I have - so I need to cut standard screen protectors to size and this rounds the corners really well.
A corner punch is good for a discreet short card, I picked one of these up after seeing Asi Wind recommend them on his masterclass series..
This is beautiful. Ticket to Ride is one of those games that has so much personalization possibility.
A tip to nudge it a touch closer to authentic looking: most craft stores carry radius cutters, and you could give your cards perfectly rounded corners.
Fiskars 174360-1001 Squeeze Punch, Medium, Circle https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000OMYCXK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_R7NVPA70R0T47XFDKB49?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this is the Canadian but this is the one I have !
I was thinking about this too and remembered there is a punch gadget for making hexie papers! Fiskars has a punch in a couple different sizes but it's for paper/card stock and not fabric. Accuquilt cutters are awesome and I lust for one.
I bought a Fiskars XL Hexagon punch and some cardstock to get started on EPP. It makes about 1" side hexagons. I've loved it. https://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-X-Large-Squeeze-Punch-Hexagon/dp/B00E3FSTN8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1XUXJIG7HKBBA&dchild=1&keywords=fiskars+hexagon+punch&qid=1634956715&sprefix=Fiskars+hex%2Caps%2C686&sr=8-1
I use this template to make cutting and fussy cutting easy. https://www.amazon.com/Quilting-Simplicity-Jelly-Roll-Ruler/dp/B08Y68HM4S/ref=sr_1_36?crid=3L6OHN6SXWVJF&dchild=1&keywords=hexagon+templates+quilting&qid=1634956564&sprefix=Hexagon+template%2Caps%2C407&sr=8-36
I use Elmer's Washable School Gluesticks to easily tack the cloth to the paper while I sew baste. I like John James Milliners/Straw needles in size 11. They are slightly flexy, so it really makes sewing the hexagons together easier. A thread conditioner helps, but I found Aurfil thread to tangle the least. I heard Sulky is quite good too. Short lengths at a time, as the wear on dragging across the papers weakens the thread.
Hexies are easy to make, travel well and can be assembled in a huge variety of ways. They can be a fun start.
