Was wondering myself. I mean you can pick one up from Amazon so it's not like they're hard to get now.
I have 3 of the VR headsets on OPs list and the one that's not there (5k+) is the one I use the most!
They're actually on Amazon already, they dropped the 5ks on there last week or so
These headphones come with an audio splitter. I have one audio input (the switch one) connected to my Xbox controller and the chat audio input connected to my phone for the discord app. This dual audio set up let's me chat with friends in discord and hear in game audio. I'll also use them to hear PS5 audio while in party chat with friends on Xbox Astro Zelda
Ok so there's this Astro Gaming Zelda headset (https://www.amazon.com/ASTRO-Gaming-Legend-Zelda-nintendo-switch/dp/B07FMCGLVX) I got that comes with a special aux splitter
I was wondering if anyone knew if I can get a replacement splitter without buying a whole extra headset, since mine broke and I can't hear anything through it
These are the headphones I currently use:
ASTRO Gaming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild A10 Headset https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07FMCGLVX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_5J5ZP7RNHXTEG17ER1QY
They do dual audio but not Bluetooth unfortunately. Heard good things about the Artic 3s and some Sennheisers. If I get anything working I'll update you.
That's good to know! I currently have these: ASTRO Gaming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild A10 Headset
I got them on a pricing error a few years ago for $10. My ideal headset would be something I could use wirelessly on Discord/Switch/PS5/Series S. Even my Zelda A10's are wired I've been able to use a USB C adapter to use them with my phone for discord. I also enjoy being able to be on Xbox Party Chat with my buds while also playing Ghost on PS5 with the dual audio splitter on the Zelda A10's. I'm not sure if the Arctic 1s can do that or if another wireless headset could do all of these things for sub $100.
They may not have the heaviest bass, but they are unbelievably comfortable, and simple. They have a volume wheel, and a feature where if you rotate the mic up, it mutes.
I used a set for 5 years and only recently upgraded to arctis pros and the only difference I’ve noticed in audio quality is a bit more bass; I would recommend the gsp set with full confidence that it will not disappoint for 130$
Edit: just noticed they are only 90$ on amazon, that’s a steal imo
Something like this is probably better value. It has two USB ports so you could charge both the AirPods Max and something else at the same time. However you don’t get lights on the stand unless plugged into a PC or Mac, which may matter to some.
I would do the 5K+ (or 5k super) due to the 1:1 native mode being able to do 90Hz at 170 degrees and 150 degrees, 120Hz at between 150 and 140 degrees, and 144Hz at 120 degrees FoV.
The 8KX is also good if you're OK with the lower refresh rate (75Hz at 1:1 and 90Hz at 1440p upscale (with experimental 114Hz mode).
Sadly the 5k+ is not in stock at amazon at the moment. I hesitate to recommend buying directly from Pimax. Mainly the headset has to be shipped internationally, you have to deal with customs, etc. If you have a good credit card, then they would cover you if an issue arose.
If you want to have a look, these are the pages on the various 5k headsets.
Here is the Amazon page for the 5k+. There's no amazon page for the 5k+ super (which comes with the better headstrap and max 180Hz refresh rate).
Not sure how much it is in Euros, but check out these Astro’s A10. I used to have A40’s but got rid of them after I stopped playing COD years and years ago before I bought my PS4. IMO these Astro’s are great value.
HyperX Cloud 2 are a touch more expensive but I’ve heard it’s one of the best entry level headsets. Worth saving a couple extra Euros to get a great headset
Amazon UK link for A10. Every color works with all 3 systems. Although if you have an Xbox you’ll need an adapter that does not come with the Ps4 or Pc version.
Another headset to consider at this price (if you already have the lighthouses) is the Pimax 5k+ for $640 after 20% off on Amazon.
You can also order it from Pimax's website, however I'd recommend against that.
Vs the Vive Pro you gain:
Lose:
Current wireless adapter (pimax is getting one soon^(TM)
Build quality, it feels both solid, yet the plastic is a bit thin on parts.
OLED screens (Uses LCD, but this gains you a tighter pixel layout = sharper image & less screen door)
Requires additional software to be running in addition to either SteamVR or Oculus's SW: PiTool
Software is not compatible with AMD 5700 XTs (supposedly in work)
DAS: There's one available but it costs extra. Can use the Vive DAS with 3d printed adapters.
Thank you!
It's the Corsair ST100

I'm using the stand from Corsair:

2 additional USB 3.0 ports.
It sounds like your best off buying the same or similar set.
https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Arctis-Fidelity-Gaming-Headset/dp/B07B32GY9Z
These are the upgraded model which use different drivers. Probably will fit your needs the best.
It might be overkill for what you initially wanted... However Corsair has this RGB headset stand...

There is also less flashy options like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Satechi-Aluminum-Headphone-Stand-Holder/dp/B019PI9QD4
I just spent the last week researching the best headset options. What I came up with was that it's significantly better quality and often lower cost to get a very nice pair of headphones and an Antlion Modmic. However these things have regular 3.5mm plugs.. so that doesn't help. As far as good headsets with usb connection.. depends on your budget. The steelseries high end sets are very nice but also very expensive. Seems like the Razer Kraken is one of the more "affordable" usb gaming headset options for PS4

Can't you just order from Amazon?

Do you think its risky to remove the locking mechanism? I really want to keep my headset safe and sound. Or should I go with the alternative I found . Thanks for the feedback as well.
I got these 930's refurbished from Amazon on the cheap: https://smile.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Surround-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B00T55HUO0/
The reviews weren't spectacular, so i was taking a chance. I haven't had any of the issues people mentioned with disconnects, I've walked around the house with em to grab water or a snack and never had a problem talking to people on discord. I'm in a rural area though, so really no interference at all.
The battery didn't seem to last for the whole 8 hours, i'd averaged about 6 after using them a while. I ended up doing the battery mod (you can see in the gallery below)...and now I just charge em every 2 days, it was ridiculously easy, i just took the protection circuit from the original battery and soldered to the 2200mah galaxy s3 battery, works perfect.

Pads seem to be pleather, are removable and are replacements on amazon. For the price i think they're an absolute steal, especially if you plan on doing the battery mod.
You mean like this? https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-ST100-RGB-Surround-Headphone/dp/B074ZQJW9R/ Not worth it unless you just happen to have an extremely recent, high-end system and money to spare. The average user should probably buy something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Headphone-New-Earphone-Supporting-Headphones/dp/B01GJQ7N94
Alright, you've nudged me towards Choice A. What am I looking at?
Was chatting with someone about their headphones and they were confident that due to their headphones not being noise canceling that sidetone is unnecessary. Headphones in question: Sennheiser GSP 350 Surround Sound PC Gaming Headset
I use the Sennheiser GSP 350. It has good quality surround sound and is comfortable for me to wear for extended periods.
I like mine. I'm always the first to hear an approaching vehicle.
I use a Sennheiser GSP 350
They sound great, microphone works well, and are extremely comfortable for long term use.
I personal enjoy the Corsair VOID Wireless RGB Gaming Headset due to the fact that it's a lightweight design along with being wireless (which is optional). The sound quality is excellent and mic quality is makes your voice come out clear. Definitely worth the money. If you go for the wired and all black design it's $60 as you go to wireless it's up to $100. Also, if you're going wireless the signal is great. Plus it's universal, so it should work with PC, Xbox, and PS with little to no problems. P.S. The RGB can be changed after downloading their software. Which is always a nice feature to have.

Just a heads up - The Corsair Void is on sale right now for $70.

Check this out. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Surround-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B00T55HUO0 (search around for good prices)
I don't have it myself, I use speakers because of ear problems. But it does look quite nice
