Should get a desktop length moussed to cover enough ground in order to accommodate the mouse and keyboard :D
Looks like its the same price on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Spectrum-Shifting-Personalized-Programmable/dp/B019OB663A/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1542557146&sr=1-2&keywords=Logitech+-+G502

Pretty sure its the same one.
I see absolutely no reason to get this over the G502 Proteus Spectrum which goes on sale for ~$30-$35.
The main (and practically only) benefit to the HERO sensor is that it's very conservative with energy, so it's useful in the new wireless version of the G502 to extend battery life. It won't actually perform any better than the PixArt PMW3366DM sensor that logitech uses in the G502 Proteus Spectrum.
EDIT: For those who want this mouse anyways, it's 90 cents cheaper from Amazon and probably faster shipping.
Sorry if this is off-topic, but have you taken a look at a mouse with buttons on the side such as the Logitech G600? I get a lot of use out of mine and can play PoE 1-handed at full effectiveness. It might particularly help with the flask issue.
My pick is the Logitech G502 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019OB663A/
The Spectrum version has RGB, the Core is blue only. I've been using it since the Core came out (no RGB upgrade for me yet) and love it.
They're only like $13USD on amazon for the QCK+. Even if you're a minor without a job I'm sure you can find some way to make $13. I personally worked a few hours for my grandparents when I bought mine and I paid $20.
Edit: $15USD without prime.
> For the longest time I laptop gamed using old Xbox 360 game cases as my mousepad. In fact, it's still my preferred mousepad to use when I use a laptop.
The fuck!? Shroud describes my feelings on this perfectly. You playing on an old 360 game case is so ridiculous to me.
I mean I guess if you are playing some non competitive game like a single player game or minecraft or some shit... Okay whatever. Guess that doesn't really matter. But everyone SHOULD use a mousepad. They are like fucking $10. Just get one for fucks sakes. It makes your mouse last longer, improves the tracking, helps you ergonomically, it's such a trivial amount of money for such a massive gain in quality.
I have almost my entire desk I game on covered in mousepad and I know a shit ton of players who do the same thing. There is a reason they sell stuff like the corsair mm300 That thing is only $20 for crying out loud. You can place everything you need on it. Keyboard, mouse, phone, keys, wallet, whatever. So much room and such a better surface.
I'm going crazy over here reading these comments lol.
Here’s a link to it. CORSAIR MM300 - Anti-Fray Cloth Gaming Mouse Pad - High-Performance Mouse Pad Optimized for Gaming Sensors - Designed for Maximum Control - Extended (CH-9000108-WW) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01798VS4C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CcisDbX5T5PPV
Amazon have gone fucking bananas in the last few months, with tons of shit being added to the hazardous list that were previously not.
An example of this is a mousemat that I bought in february of last year with no problems. Suddenly, it's a hazardous material that can't be shipped outside the UK. It's a mousemat in a cardboard tube for fuck sake. They even let me order it again, only to cancel my entire order when they discovered that it was "hazardous"
Bunch of fucking mongs
100% this. This has been my mouse for years and years, preceded by a Razer Naga that lasted maybe 6 months, and this is half the price. It will completely change the way you play for the better.
Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, RGB Backlit, 20 Programmable Buttons https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0086UK7IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GIJiCb85SHKFH
I picked one up. $50 is a no-brainer and this is the lowest it's been according to camelcamelcamel: https://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/Logitech-Proteus-Spectrum-Tunable-910-004615/product/B019OB663A
Looks like OP submitted a referral link though.
Regular link here: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B019OB663A/
Copy pasta FTW. You want to go to the next level? You want to go over 9000? Get one of these bad boys right here. 12 programmable buttons and a shift key to double the functional number. You also get three "modes" for a total of 72 saved templates. I have one mode for normal use, one mode for grading/emails, and one for gaming.
Same mouse on Amazon for those of us with Prime, or those that hate Newegg
edit- in stock november 27th apparently
Honestly i used to do stuff like this all the time. But it still felt way too busy for me. So i bought a mouse with 12 buttons on the side as i play a lot of mmos. It's honestly so nice i only use my keyboard for WASD, CTRL, ALT and Shift. Everything else is bound to my mouse. I could never go back now.
If you're looking to get one i recommend (like many) the Razer Naga. Or if you're on a budget (Like me) I found this one on amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UtechSmart-Programmable-programmable-Customizing-Manufacturers/dp/B00FNKMVUO
It does the job and I've no complaints with it. It even comes with it's own program so you can change the macros on it.
Here is my UI in game: https://imgur.com/2MCLAr0
I have this one but I really want this one
Just a tip for everyone. Try to keep similar abilities bound to the same button across all characters. Example: all my interrupts are bound to Q. Any health steroids are on R and quick healing spells are on E. It’s helps because then it becomes muscle memory rather than memorizing spells.
All the other options listed here are very good, take them into consideration.
I wanted to add in my 2 cents and offer a wireless option: [Logitech's G602], it's been at $45 on Amazon for quite some time and commonly goes on sale at best buy for $40.
Wireless isn't for everyone, especially the more competitive users, but for the casual user, if it's compatible with your grip style, it's not a bad choice.
250 hour battery life with 2 AA's in "performance mode". In "eco" mode, I never found out how long they last. I changed the batteries out after 6 months to avoid corrosion.
great sensor, adjustable DPI, and 10 buttons, although the buttons are a little cramped and some are not always easy to reach
mouse wheel scrolls well, but there are complaints about it double clicking, which is not something I've encountered yet, since I almost never click the mouse wheel. Ever complaint has ended with the user successfully obtaining a replacement from Logitech after a quick email, however,
Good luck with your search, bud!
You can get them on amazon for ~45 bucks with free shipping. So if he's paying for shipping, he'd be getting more like 30-35 bucks for them and the rest would be shipping. That's like maybe 10 bucks profit per mouse? More of a hassle than it's worth.
Logitech g600 all the way, had it for a few years and still works like new.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G600-Gaming-Mouse-Black/dp/B0086UK7IQ
There's a direcr link to amazon, I recommend it over every single one.
I have a logitech G302 and a G102. They are both great for CS:GO. G302 has a somewhat odd shape and is a little heavier than G102. So, G102 is your safest bet.
You can also try Redragon M601 CENTROPHORUS - Amazon Link
SteelSeries 62281 The Sims 4 Gaming Mouse (Amazon Link) is also an interesting option.
I have not used the reddragon or the steelseries ones, so can not say how good they are, but they look interesting and potentially good.
They on Sale right now on Amazon for ~$42 Brand new. Got mine a week ago. Cause my G700s just doesnt have enough buttons for me anymore. Still love it cause its wireless though.
Just FYI, Amazon seems to be price matching with Prime Shipping.
Edit: Sorry, originally copied the link on mobile which showed up a bit weird. Thanks to /u/halflife_3 for posting the correct link.
I've had this mousepad for about a year and have no complaints so far.
Of course, I'm happy to help! As for cheap mouse mats, I have this and love it. It's huge though, so you'll want to measure your desk to make sure it'll fit. If not, just about any mouse pad will do. Don't spend a whole lot of money on it (like getting one that's RGB). As for headsets, Amazon has a bunch that are great, and fairly cheap that you can look at. Personally, however, I would recommend getting a stand alone microphone like this guy and using a pair of headphones or earbuds. It might be a little more pricey overall, but I've found that most headsets are really uncomfortable for long periods of use. I splurged and bought some Bose headphones and have a standalone mic that I use. All personal preference, though. Now, for desks and chairs, I'm not sure about. I would maybe check your local Target for a desk, or IKEA if you have one nearby. I'd say the same for chairs. Don't buy a chair just because it has "gaming" in the name, either. Get a chair that you're comfortable in, who cares what it looks like?
Anyways, that's my two cents!
You know, I actually bought this same exact keyboard about 2 months ago and I love it. It's the first mechanical keyboard that I've bought and although I didn't look closely enough at it on Amazon and I bought one without a number pad, I still don't regret it. I've been using this mouse for about two years too and their stuff, although cheap compared to other brands, actually seems alright.
The logitech g502 is incredible, I've been using it for a while now and its just too good especially the scroll wheel. amazon canada
Always have the option to buy a mouse with more button mapping ability. I know a lot of gamers including myself use a mouse like the G502.
Logitech G502 Hero High Performance Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GBZ4Q68/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_RKN-FbNWBQFPY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
For mouse check out Logitech G502. The wired one. Very happy with the choice.
This is the one I'm talking about. $12.99 actually, but it has been at that price or dropping to that price regularly on Amazon for months.
I use a Razer Naga knock-off that I got on Amazon about 3 years ago for €25. Works great.
Also $39.99 and in stock at [Best Buy] and [Amazon]. (I favor both of them over NewEgg).
I've owned this for about 2 years now, AMA. It actually replaced my G502.^^master^^^race
