I thought Colgate Total was different as it contained Triclosan. But i think other toothpastes have this too.
Big difference.. Sensodyne Repair and Protect has a bioglass compound called Novamin that actually bonds with the enamel and gives it an extra coating that fortifies teeth enamel. It is the only compound and toothpaste that actually repairs or fortified your enamel.
I know a new compound called Biomin has come out which is a superior version of Novamin, but it is only available in the UK for now.
Edit: correction: Bioglass is not the only compound that repairs your enamel. But it is the best or among the best there is. Also available over the counter so you don't need some expensive prescription toothpaste.
Novamin (a type of bioglass) was invented by a scientist and Sensodyne bought out his research, so to my knowledge Sensodyne Repair and Protect (non US version) is the only off the shelf toothpaste that has Novamin.
For some reason, the version in the US does not have Novamin. If you want to buy the Novamin version in the US, buy it from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Sensodyne-Repair-Protect-Whitening-Toothpaste/dp/B008VPSTOA
It takes a few weeks to ship from the UK. But the price is reasonable: $6.60 and free shipping.
For some reason, whenever I swim, I get crazy amounts of ear wax buildup over the next couple of days. I used one of those Japanese ear picks for a while, and it helped, but then I discovered this glorious device. Fill it with warm water, shoot it into your ear, and repeat. The first few sprays probably won't produce much, as it needs to soften up the wax a bit first, but then big chunks of wax start coming out of your ear and suddenly you can hear so much better. It's the most satisfying thing ever.
The photos in the Amazon reviews are disgusting, but they'll give you an idea of what will be coming out of your ears.
Tongue scraper. I tried several before landing on this one. It's stainless steel, it'll last virtually forever.
First couple of times you use it will gross you out realizing how much bacteria you had growing on your tongue.
Then, I always rinse with Smart Mouth mouthwash after flossing, tongue scraping and brushing. You can buy it anywhere, grocery store, WalMart, Target, etc. This is the best mouthwash I've found, I never have morning breath since I started using it. I wish it still came in two bottles that you mix, because their new "all-in-one" bottle sucks. But it is what it is.
I'll be honest, I have ear wax issues. Despite others here saying wax is SUPPOSED to drain from the ear, mine does not. I've had issues my whole life. I don't use Q-tips because I was also told it was bad.
When I can tell my ears are getting bad, I will use hydrogen peroxide (~~HO2~~ H2O2), of which you can buy a lifetime supply of for $1. That with a bulb to force water in usually helps for the average person. I like this method just to listen to all the fizzing. It's like pop in your ear.
Every once in a while I need to go to the doctor to get my ears cleaned. I only do this when I'm losing hearing though since it can get pretty expensive. They use a squirt bottle to with a small funnel on the end and force warm water into your ear. This is the result. Gross as all get out, warning you.
I recently bought the tool they use on Amazon, but there is something that the doctor does a lot better than me. They can get a lot of nasty gunk out of there.
In summary, warm water with force, and funny chemicals. All much better than a Q-tip.
yes. you can also buy it form normal amazon too: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008VPSTOA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
i have REALLY sensitive teeth (grew up poor as fuck) and this shit actually does help a lot.
Waterpik. I am a licensed crazy ass. You want this more than a toothbrush if you experience periods of unhygienic depression.
I swear that thing will change your life.
There's something on Amazon called an Elephant Ear. $30 seems a little much for a plastic bottle and some tubing, but it's got to be cheaper than a doctor. I've used mine three times in three years and each time, out plopped an impressive, firm wad of ear gunk along with a little "pop!", followed by deliciously crisp hearing. It's awesome.
At this point, I look forward to impacted wax just to get the satisfaction of cleaning it out.
Yo I actually had the same problem a few years back: 6' 0", 165lbs, gym 4-5 times a week with a decent diet, and I would have pit stains even when it was below freezing temperatures.
I bought Certain Dri and it stopped the sweating. The first few times using it it burned like a mofo but it was totally worth it. Now the problem has stopped for me altogether! (Although that may be for completely unrelated reasons)
Check it out!
I have to order my Sensodyne from the UK for this very reason. I have weak enamel and regular Sensodyne wasn't doing anything. Someone in another reddit post mentioned you can order it from Amazon UK so I did.
It's like $6 a tube, but worth it.
EDIT: Here's the link. It's not Amazon.UK but it ships from the UK for $6.60 free shipping.
Yep. I have really waxy ears, and they once got so clogged that I couldn't hear. Doctor used one of these to clean it out and it worked great. You can buy them for less than the cost of the doctor visit (but it was worth it to learn about this).
The key is to use this after. https://www.amazon.com/Acu-Life-Ear-Wax-Removal-Syringe/dp/B000SOJXGA
It's a syringe for your ears that won't let the water go directly on your eardrums so you can put more pressure than a regular syringe. Works well for me.
Certain-dri roll on antiperspirant is literally the only thing that worked for me to stop my armpits from sweating profusely. You put it on at night (not after shaving though!) and the next few days you don’t even need deodorant, but I still used it to keep feeling fresh! I actually don’t even need to use it anymore but it honestly changed my life.
And you don’t need a prescription - they have it at cvs. Just make sure you get the roll on and not the solid as it’s not nearly as effective.

(Sorry for the crappy formatting on the link)
periodontal disease causes bad breath, but if he doesnt have that, use this. life changing
get you some antiperspirant with Aluminum Chloride as the active ingredient. i'm about to get some right now here because your puny mortal antiperspirants do nothing for whatever lovecraftian horror sweat glands are in my pits, but anyone could use it.
the reason i bring this up is because 1: you do it before bed instead of in the morning, 2: after the first few days of using it you only have to use it once or twice a week. and 3: its basicly the strongest shit you can get without botoxing your armpits (seriously, thats a thing. for the "my pit stains are the size of small pizzas on a cold day" peeps)
also, you only have to wash your hair 2-3 times a week. on non hair washing days you can get away with a washcloth and soap. on my face i use non-soap body cleanser so i don't even have to rinse my face off.
Just saying, this ear wax removal syringe with the tip that won't let you shove it in too far, and with holes to spray the water at the sides of your ear canal instead of blasting it straight at your ear drum is the only way to go.
I’m a dude that sweats a lot, works outside, and can wring a shirt out at the end of the day, so I’d recommend Certain Dri Prescription Strength Clinical Antiperspirant
It works excellently for me, hopefully it will work for you too
As someone with hyperhydrosis, i cant reccomend this enough. I tried Qbrexza and this stuff works better, isnt RX, and only use 1 a week.
Skip the local pharmacy. Just order a 50ml ear cleaning syringe off amazon. Get a bowl of warm water and flush your ears with it until all that shit comes out.
At my clinic this is what we use. Warm water with as much hydrogen peroxide as you want.
Industrials are notorious for irritation and grumpiness in general. I think it looks like an irritation bump, but I’m not a doctor. Is it hot, constantly painful or throbbing? That’s usually signs of infection. Irritation bumps look kind of gross, but are just your body making a cushion since something keeps wiggling and bumping inside of it. Follow appropriate aftercare - sterile wound wash such as this twice a day then dry with either a hairdryer on cool setting or non-woven sterile gauze; and otherwise don’t touch it. Don’t look at it. Don’t breathe at it. It’s an industrial. They suck to heal. If it continues to be irritated I’d say change to two separate barbells made of implant-grade titanium and let them heal separately.
Not sure if you've heard of Sweat Block. It was a total game changer for me. Wish I had this stuff in high school!
I have hyperhydrosis (abnomally sweaty pits) and this changed my life.
Okay so I have never told anyone this before...but I have been doing this successfully for years so here we go. My boyfriend often comments that I always smell fresh! Not artificially scented fresh; I mean human just-took-a-shower fresh.
I use a salt chrystal deodorant stick down there. It's totally natural. Just put a few drops of water on it, and swipe it around. It prevents odor naturally by creating an invisible protective barrier against odor causing bacteria. It's normally meant for armpits but I started using it other places too.
So if I'm planning on a date and know I'll be too busy to shower right before, I would use that in the morning before work, then after work: use an unscented wipe to freshen up, change undies, and use the chrystal again.
Yes you can, it's available on Amazon just make sure you get the one that says Novamin, like this
Is It flakey? My ears were getting super flakey and causing more sebum than usual. Every. Single. Day. I had to clean them. I looked it up and it’s a form of yeast that can grow inside the ear canal. If it’s bad enough a doctor can prescribe things for you but what I found works best is..... t gel. T gel or nizoral dandruff shampoo. Wash your ears with it, around then and suds really good. Kind of suds the inside then rinse. If I take a bath I do the same and dip my head back, rinse and make sure to let my head lay back and recline in the water where the foamy bubbles are from scrubbing out the shampoo. That way the water can enter my ears and really get in there. Then throughout the bath it kind of just gets cleaned out as I keep going under water.
But if you shower, suds the ears w t gel or nizoral shampoo. Definitely check into fungal ear overgrowth if you are having abnormal sebum or flakes that must be cleaned every day, every other day. Oh!!! And also macks I believe it’s called makes an ear irrigation kit that you literally put drops in, earplugs, it dissolves the gunk— and then you rinse with this squirty tool. It’s $5-7 at local drugstores. There’s multiple brands.
I like to use theses 1x per week and I started 3x in a row to really get my ears clean. I want to try elephant ear cleaner off amazon. You should read the reviews, watch the videos of it actually working! It takes out hugeeee chunks of wax you didn’t even know you had. Some impacted by q tip overuse.
Ok enuff about ears.
To stop the issue with the shower, buy a fan. I was exactly the same coming out the shower, so I'd get out the shower, dry, then sit in front of a fan for 15 minutes and the sweat would disappear. Also, when you start feeling like you're gonna sweat, run your wrists under a cold tap for a while. It calms you down and reduces the risk of a sweat outbreak.
If Oxybutynin doesn't work, have you ever tried Sweat Block wipes? They're from Amazon and they're incredible. I had mild sweat issues when I was on heroin and I worked in an office, so it was kind of awkward. I tried these and they worked perfectly. They literally stopped the sweat in the area you wanted. You can also buy deodorant and other products from them and they work amazingly.
If you want a more drastic option, Botox in the problem area completely stops sweating.
I do an ear lavage about every 6 weeks. You can do it at home by yourself and save the medical bill.

You make a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water, squirt it into your ears, and all the earwax just falls out. Best 30 bucks I've spent.
This is the one I got at the local CVS. Looks like this one on Amazon is the same.
Price is a few dollars more than I remember. Maybe I got it on sale, idk. Anyway, it's stupidly simple for how well it works.
I imagine others work similarly well? I haven't tried them. The more pressure you have the ability to deliver deep while aiming, and having an exit path for the water, the better. On mine, the weird blue tip helps with making sure there's an exit path.
Probably the most important part of the technique is figuring out where your ear wants it angled. I also like to use my free hand to pull back on my ear, which straightens the canal.
I also saw the post about Novamin the other day. I think you may have misinterpreted what you read there. My impression is that the FDA has no problem with Novamin being available OTC, it's just that the manufacturer has chosen to control the supply and refuse to sell it that way. That wouldn't make it illegal to buy or sell.
If it was actually illegal to buy or sell it in the US, you probably wouldn't be able to order it via Amazon. That's just one of many options on Amazon too.
I dunno. My rock looked like this, but less pink and more white, irregularly shaped, and scratchy-lookin'. Apparently it's salt.
As long as I put it on right after the shower, it's miraculous.
Ever since switching to certain-dri I don't worry about my underarms anymore. I struggled with stinky wet pits after hitting puberty and suffered until I switched to this antiperspirant. It's like a anti-sweat medication and that's how I treat it, like a medication: it has no smell, liquid roll on applicator, it absorbs into the skin, and I just apply like any other topical medication.
I literally swipe this once every few days now and that's all I need to do. I buy nice smelling underarm stuff just for fun now, but I don't use it for the antiperspirant properties, which means that I can just buy the cheap pretty smelling stuff!
And I also lived in Texas, so I know how hot and sweaty it gets! I wish that I had such a nice solution for my hands and feet and face too; unfortunately I've only found this medication to work on the underarms.
My underarm cleaning routine is just to use a loofa with body wash on it and give my underarms a good scrub every day in the shower to remove any product residue.
The only downside with using such a strong antipersperant is that it can sting! That's how strong it is. Don't use it on broken skin, and a little goes a long way! If you shave your underarms, don't shave for 24 hours before applying. If you have long underarm hair, consider trimming it before applying it, as the roll-on applicator can get stuck in the long hair and be painful.
Ever since I started using this antiperspirant like.. 10 years ago? Wow time flies. I've recommended it to every other breathing human being who struggles with sweat like I do. I can't find it in stores anymore, so I have to get it on Amazon.
Our pediatrician used this exact one for our child:
https://www.amazon.ca/Elephant-Washer-Bottle-Doctor-Easy/dp/B005M2B5P0
Not sure if this is the same that they use on adults, but it worked on our child as chunks came out (without any drops ahead of time to soften it).
I have heard of piercers using two different pieces of jewelry for an industrial, but it does look like unfortunately those holes will never line up. Cool piercings none the less! Ibuprofen/Tylenol (I alternate) is good advice! There are a lot of people who use h2ocean and never have problems, but i always use neilmed piercing spray (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TZUJW6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2GXiFb7G91JN7) and touch it as absolutely little as I can. On top of that, if you have to touch it, only ever touch it with clean hands! I think that bleeding can be normal, but if you are freaked, see any signs of infection, or just need reassuring, contacting your piercer (or any piercer) can never hurt! Good luck!
To answer one of your questions, they are easy to use, but I also use flossers to floss. My ortho gave me my waterpik when I started treatment and I love it, I use to blast food out of my brackets. Mine is similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Waterpik-Flosser-Electric-Countertop-Irrigator/dp/B00HFQQ0VU/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Waterpik&qid=1594560886&sr=8-5
You should not use whitening solutions during treatment, you'll end up with your teeth being a different color than under the brackets.
Ok. A more serious response…I have these. Maybe I can’t drop being drenched in sweat sometimes, but I for sure can reduce the moisture in areas that leave me feeling unfit for polite company. They say don’t use after shaving. Don’t test that, lol. It stings.
https://www.amazon.com/SweatBlock-Antiperspirant-Clinical-Strength-Reduce/dp/B002PQ8BQM
Alrighty cool - so it's probably just you messing with it that's causing the bump Hmm maybe the chemist? Main thing is to make sure it's not contact solution. If Amazon shipping is available NeilMed is also good! You can double check to make sure. I'll attach a link. Neilmed
If you consistently chafe in the same areas, consider placing kt take in those areas. For me it's the underbra area between the boobs, and the part of my inner arm that rubs against the seam of sleeveless tops. I've learned which shirts are good for short runs/long runs, certain fabrics are better than others. Gold bond makes an antichafe stick that I like: https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bond-Friction-Defense-Unscented/dp/B007VC9DKI
Have you tried Certain Dri Prescription Strength? It’s a liquid that applies using a ball roller. It doesn’t have any smell at all, and it works absurdly well for sweating. (My also-autistic partner has used this for years.)
https://smile.amazon.com/NeilMed-NeilCleanse-Piercing-Aftercare-Fluid/dp/B00TZUJW6O/
Shouldn't be bad for you if you swallow it, but try not to. Just spray on both sides of your piercing and spit. Also don't mess with the bar, don't push it up and down or fiddle with it at all. The movement irritates the wound and causes the bumps. I'm not an expert on tongue piercings but I think them looking like that early in healing is pretty normal.
Edited to Add: That bottle of spray should last you about 2/3 of your healing process (or all of it as I think tongue piercings have a shorter healing span than cartilage piercings. Just spritz once or twice on each side. That should be enough.
I wouldn’t even use the sea salt spray - try Neilmed instead! It doesn’t have additives and is great for piercings. Sea salt spray dried my piercings out so badly, causing a lot of irritation.
NeilMed NeilCleanse Piercing... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TZUJW6O?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I actually deal with a lot of issues with my ears and have for years. Every three months or so they’d get clogged and I’d have to go to the doctor. Eventually, I just sprung for the spray bottle thing they used at the office and asked what solution to use (1 part peroxide and 3 parts warm water - making sure the water is warm is important do you don’t give yourself vertigo).
It’s fantastic, and I haven’t had a problem and saves me unnecessary visits to the doctor - especially during the pandemic.
You got it, just stay patient!
My recommendations: titanium jewelry, saline mist once or twice a day, LITHA, and sleep on a travel pillow. Good luck!

It’s actually a low frontal helix piercing. But nope it wasn’t infected just super irritated (No puss or hot to touch symptoms). I was trying too much at the time to fix it and had to just relax and be more patient.
My recommendations: titanium jewelry, saline mist once or twice a day, LITHA, and sleep on a travel pillow. Good luck!

I use saline mist and just spray it. Qtips can have fibers that can irritate the piercing. If absolutely needed to help remove a crust build up that hasn’t fallen off in the shower. I definitely suggest softening them in a warm shower then use gauze or a clean paper towel in a pinch to gently remove the build up on the jewelry. Try not to pick and on the piercing site itself.

Get yourself an "earwax removal syringe". I was having buildup issues in one of my ears that was seriously affecting my quality of life and this thing has been a godsend.
It has a removable guard tip with 2 special design features:
The nozzle splits the water in multiple streams directed more toward the walls of your ear canal thereby reducing risk of damaging your eardrum and also increasing mechanical effectiveness.
The large guard tip prevents excessive insertion into the ear and the large holes around the outside allow water and debris to flow back out the ear freely.
It usually take many flushes, and you need take care with how forcefully you do it. The optimum Angle of insertion is neither immediately intuitive nor apparent for one not intimately acquainted with the structure of the ear, but can be found with a few tries and it's a pretty distinct feeling when you find it. I start with water that is just barely warm, flush with that a few times and then cool it down just a bit, not quite to the point it feels cold mind you. My thought process is that the slightly higher than body temp water will soften and erode any blockages, and that the cooler water helps to stiffen it up enough to easily pass back through the ear and syringe head.
I've found doing this in the shower to be the best bet, I think the recommendations say to use a bowl to catch the runoff water and debris but it's messy and hit or miss with facial hair involved.
The satisfaction of seeing a nearly pencil eraser sized plug of wax afterward and the clarity of my hearing is priceless.

Try this special antiperspirant. Can be applied to the face. This problem also can go away as you get more comfortable with clinical encounters.

Gold Bond makes an anti-friction stick that is amazing as well and doesn't wear off as quickly as deodorant seems to for me.
This is the one, but I found it cheaper at Walgreens than on Amazon if you're in the US. https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bond-Friction-Defense-Ounce/dp/B007VC9DKI/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1469313063&sr=8-1&keywords=gold+bond+friction
I will use this to promote the single most impactful thing I did for my attractiveness/hygiene last year:

This thing is FUCKING AMAZING
I know, I know, tongue scrapers. You've heard of this. "Why not just brush your tongue with your toothbrush?" as my sister in law asked.
Trust me.
I brushed my tongue every day, but the first time I used this thing so much white shit came off my tongue I had an existential crisis.
Buy it, use it, love it.
BONUS: read the amazon reviews. They are fucking bonkers.
My god, Farty Mcgee is right! This could be a game changer, I found these on amazon that sound promising, or they'll give you cancer immediately.
SweatBlock Antiperspirant - Clinical Strength - Reduce Sweat up to 7-days per Use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002PQ8BQM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_s9o8Ab85E3DFD
I’ve suffered with Hyperhidrosis for years and my main problem area is my face. My arm pits hardly sweat, but my face will pour with sweat even just standing around doing nothing. I’ve found two things that have worked. The first thing I tried was SweatBlock Antiperspirant from Amazon. It’s a wipe and it helped control my facial sweating for up to a week at a time! I didn’t want to risk it irritating my face before my wedding (although it never caused irritation before) so I tried the medication Glycopyrrolate and it worked the majority of the time, but I did still experience some sweating, just nothing to the degree I was before! I would give either of those a shot. I know for me, I start experiencing anxiety when I notice my face dripping and that only leads to me sweating more, so I practice taking deep breaths while sitting to calm my anxiety to prevent even more sweating. Hyperhidrosis is embarrassing (do people really need to point out I’m sweating inside in the AC?) but know you’re not alone!
You aren’t hurting your tongue at all, but brushing your tongue with a toothbrush isn’t as effective at cleaning it as a tongue scraper. I recommend buying one on Amazon. They’re great at keeping bad breath away.
Here’s a link to a good stainless steel tongue scraper.
https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Tungs-Tongue-Cleaner-Stainless/dp/B00064JGBO
Don't know about the HSA reimbursement but I advise if you get the tabletop version, get the one with on/off switch, instant regret to the face when I turned it on. Been using it for a few days and really wish I had gotten one earlier, but don't forget manual flossing is still recommended. Avoid the Target/Walmart version and get the one on Amazon, it sometimes goes on sale for $40-50. My SO has the portable version and works rather well for her but it has a little bit less pressure.
I have a bad underarm sweating problem that happens pretty much no matter what I’m doing. I found this product a few years back called Sweat Block on amazon and it has been a game changer. It’s like a moist towelette that you apply before bed and it last a good week or two before you have to reapply. I would give it a try as when I use it I don’t sweat at all anymore.
Here is the link for it.

Ooh yes I have this problem too but I found this Gold Bond Friction stick and it is amazing. It looks like deodorant. I just rub it on my thighs and boom no more chub rub. Was less than $5 I think

Sensodyne is the name. Novamin is the stuff he's talking about. I have it, you can ship it on Amazon without prescription. I'm sure on some minute level it does help as much as people claim, but personally it didn't really help at all. The reason it isn't available in US is assumed to be because it wasn't approved with the label that it can "repair" teeth, so they just cut it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008VPSTOA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kFOgEb5MC5R3H
You should check out Sensodyne in the UK. You can get it here
Unlike the Sensodyne in the US, it contains Novamin, which actually closes the microscopic holes in your enamel.
I use crystal deodorant, and it's great. It's unscented but works really good if you're applying it to clean skin everyday. And it's cheap and a stick will last forever ( http://www.amazon.com/Crystal-Body-Deodorant-Stick-4-25-oz/dp/B000L978FU )
I got this one on the recommendation of the practice nurse at my GP's. I was also advised to use olive oil for a few days first. Syringe worked great.
if it's infected, best to either talk to a doctor or clean with sterile saline solution, i recommend this. you can buy it off jewelry websites as well, like urban body jewelry if it's not sold out! pus is not a good sign (obviously), so if it gets really bad, talk to a doctor, for now, i recommend buying the saline solution, you can also use it to clean newer piercings in the future if you get more.
Please get rid of it. There are additives in those solutions that can make it worse and irritate your piercings. If you can get your hands on 0.9 sodium chloride wound wash, that is sterile and best to keep your piercings clean. You can find Neilmed online as well.
Good luck with your piercings
Thank you for the answer. Never try this product before . I used to clean it with sterile salt water solution . This is the one you mentioned?? Neilmed
It doesn’t truly matter if it’s bipolar or being intrinsically lazy or even if it’s mononucleosis. Schedule is what has turned me, personally, from batshit insane to a citizen of Earth over time. It takes doing it when it feels like it sucks, sometimes. But, eventually, the routine starts to reinforce itself to the point that you are regulating around it. This is good for fighting depression and can even keep you a little more on the rails if you are feeling hypo/manic.

I have small ear canals and used to have to go to the doctor's for a water irrigation a few times a year. Bought one of these and I've never been back, never had an ear infection since. It shouldn't hurt, and use body temp water.
Could be earwax build up, if you have a cotton bud you could try clearing it out but be careful not to go too far in obviously, also if it is blocked up you'll probably just push it in further which won't help matters.... Still at least if you'll know if it was ear wax you could get some ear drops in pharmacy to loosen the wax then go to gp and get them to flush it out with a syringe (pleasant ticklish experience) or could try it yourself with one of these.. takes some time tho
I suffer in much the same way.
You can get DIY syringing kits on Amazon, the syringe has a flange on it to prevent it being inserted in too far, and it squirts the water out at an angle to protect your eardrum.
Couple of days of olive oil to soften if up and then a quick blast with it and I'm sorted. It's messy though!

That's the one I bought, in 2015!
Waterpik Aquarius Professional
Shop around and you can find open box units for much cheaper. I got mine on eBay for around $40.00, shipped. It's been going strong for the past 3+ years.
There's a link for it on Amazon too. Walmart carries it, pharmacies carry it in the deodorant section, etc. in my area.

Those Mineral Salt solid deodorants that you wet to apply work pretty well. Guys use Alum Blocks post shave for irritation. https://www.amazon.com/Crystal-Mineral-Deodorant-Stick-Unscented/dp/B000L978FU
I just started using the crystal deoderant and i have been very very pleasently surprised by it. I really didnt expect it to work at all but it does ! This is the one i use CRYSTAL Deodorant Stick (30003), Unscented, 4.25 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000L978FU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_SZ67VDFBG5G4026B2SBW
Bodyglide is foolproof. But I've gotten identical results with Gold Bond Friction Defense for almost half the price. It's all basically the same stuff (deodorant stick without any medication or perfumes), so why not save a couple bucks. I've seen it go as low as $4 a stick on amazon.
If you are talking foot sweat, I find that roll-on antiperspirants can be effective.
I like this one: Certain Dri Prescription Strength Clinical Antiperspirant 1.2 fl oz roll-on https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01JB1MUNI
NeilMed Neilcleanse Piercing Aftercare, Fine Mist, 177.6g PACF-0NB-48-ENU-USL_XX, (Packaging may vary) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TZUJW6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_19NJMXGCYKZAQACHY480 This one? :)
I’m not a doctor, but when I go to urgent care/primary to get my ears flushed out, they use the Elephant Ear Washer Bottle (link. It’s literally the exact same one so I bought it for myself. Warm water does fine but for more power you could put a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water for the foaming.
sorry op but no, it should ONLY have water and 0.9% sodium chloride no other additives. something like this is a good option: NeilMed NeilCleanse Piercing Aftercare, Fine Mist, 6.3 Fluid Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TZUJW6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_NES4T96YDEBWNAB457NK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. but until you can get pure sterile saline in just let water run over it in the shower and lightly pat it dry with non-woven gauze, don’t use homemade saline spray as it can irritate your piercing if the salt-water ratio is even slightly off
Get this spray if you can: NeilMed NeilCleanse Piercing Aftercare, Fine Mist, 6.3 Fluid Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TZUJW6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_RG6QNTZ6E6CMXPBZMCT9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I bought this stuff and using it like 1-2x a week fixed my addy sweat without leaving those obnoxious white pit stains on my clothes.
I feel you on the insomnia too. Xanax is the only thing I’ve found so far that’ll KO me on the sleepless nights.
Gold Bond makes a friction defense stick that’s a lifesaver for me in the summer. I do that, plus baby powder to take care of any excess moisture.
Sorry, bad link to Amazon. Try this: https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bond-Friction-Defense-Unscented/dp/B007VC9DKI?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
It goes on like a deodorant. Pretty effective and much cheaper in my experience.
Besides pretreating your clothing stains, primarily in the underarm region, you want to properly dry your clothes so they don’t stink afterwards.
You should be drying your clothes right after laundering. Don’t let your laundered clothes sit wet too long or they’ll develop odors.
If you machine dry your clothes, make sure they’re completely dry and smell them after for odors. If you’re like me and have to hang dry your clothes indoors, annoyingly you have to pick the right day and weather to do laundry.
It has to be relatively dry humidity to hang dry your clothes so it doesn’t smell. If the weather is too humid or raining that day, your clothes will take much longer to dry and will develop that stench.
Like other posters have said, dry yourself off with a fresh clean bath towel.
Also, I found these Crystal deodorant sticks work really well to inhibit BO. You have to apply them on wet skin right out of the shower for it to properly work. I have to swipe my underarms a minimum of 40-50 times but it does last me the entire day.
It’s only a deodorant so it doesn’t stop sweat, but for me it does stop BO for the entire day. I really love it over the usual deodorants or antiperspirants because it’s unscented and there’s absolutely no slimy film or powder that sticks to my clothes or underarms.
I use NeilMed Wound Wash. It's slightly more accessible than their piercing aftercare spray but if you are able to get this one it'll work too :)
There’s an immediate option you can try, pretty cheap and used to be Rx (aluminum chloride usually no more than 20%): example on Amazon
Takes a few overnight applications to start working but you just… stop sweating.
I used to be much worse a sweater (lost a ton of weight) but used this and shit would just dry up after a few days. I’m taking big ole pit stains and conscious of keeping my arms down so other people don’t see it lol.
Gold Bond Gold Bond Friction Defense has worked wonders for me. Comes in a stick like deodorant.
They are wipes made for armpits mainly I'd guess, but I get them for my feet. Also, I've used them on my hands as they get sweaty sometimes.

This was a game changer for me too! I just replaced my travel water pik for the upgraded water reservoir size and I loveeeee it. It is solely responsible for saving my teeth.
Men sweat more than women and the smell is different, stronger. You should also feel warmer....
I'm MtF and don't really need deodorant now but Crystal is the best I have found. It won't block pores and stop you sweating but it stops the smell, just add a nice after shave if you want scent.

This model is $60 and they have travel ones too.
I recommend checking out Sweat Block wipes. You can use them on a variety of body parts. I use them under my arms at night. For me, one application lasts approx 6 days. You can use additional antiperspirant in the morning as well. Some people find more frequent applications are helpful. They are kind of expensive so I save the wipe in a ziplock and re-use it throughout the week until it’s absolutely dry.

I'll post a link for you. I've only ever use neilmed, I tried a generic wound was spray once and it felt like I got chlorine up my nose every single time I used it. (definitely don't recommend stay with neilmed). 🤣
LG ❤️
I’m desperate too. I get it, my only hesitation is that I want to be able to say 100% it worked but here’s what I’m using.
So far so good. Good luck!

Put it on about every 3 days before bed. I can’t stress my love for this product.
Yeah, after I went to my local urgent care for a similar problem, I found and bought the exact kit they used and switched to using hydrogen peroxide like they do instead of the stuff that's in Debrox and whatever else, and it's been great for when my ears have gotten too clogged once every year or so.
https://www.amazon.com/Elephant-Washer-Bottle-Doctor-Easy/dp/B005M2B5P0
That is a pretty great device that I have used to clean my ears out because I also have earwax problems.
Hydrogen peroxide is pretty great too just by itself.
In a pinch if you are panicking you can create suction in your ear with your finger and rapidly remove your finger and that will also help dislodge wax.
There are products available that may help in your situation:
1) Sweat pads (for men & women) that you place inside your shirts
2) Clinical strength deodorant—many brands but here is a top-rated one
https://www.amazon.com/Certain-Dri-Anti-Perspirant-Prescription-Protection/dp/B01JB1MUNI
3) Prescription deodorant—need to see the doc
4) Undershirts for excessive sweating (also available in styles for women)
https://thompsontee.com/men/sweat-proof-undershirt-crewneck.html
However, I would suggest you notify your healthcare provider—even though you say it is worthless. Since you are in the military, you can get a prescription for OTC medications and have them filled for free. Plus, your healthcare provider can offer you solutions after you tell him/her what products you’ve already tried unsuccessfully. (You should stress how this issue is preventing you from performing your ADLs (Activities of Daily Living.)
Hope this helps.
