You should check in the nooks and crannies of your bed and mattress. There are tons of sites for information on this, and if you really want to be sure you can check with whoever is in charge of housing at your school, as they might have an exterminator they usually deal with who'll come out and look. Bedbugs hide in cracks and holes for most of the day so it's not surprising for you to not find them on your sheets.
If you do end up having bedbugs, dry all your clothes/linens on high for at least thirty minutes and wash all the other stuff you can. If there are things you can't wash with soap and water or put in the dryer (books, electronics, etc...) I'd recommend bagging them up in large ziploc bags (2-gallon or storage size work) and either freezing them for ~a week or putting in one of these in with it for at least a couple of weeks.
Bedbugs are no joke, but fortunately you're in a dorm with a limited amount of your stuff so if you're thorough and vigilant you shouldn't have to worry about them for long/coming back.
Thanks for the kind words u/guerrilla154
These were custom made with no machining in the battery tube. I believe it makes it look much cleaner.
They are directly available from me here, Blf, or my Amazon store. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0767NFCGC No coupon code needed. You have to click on "other sellers" to get to the buy it button. I have to call them and find out why it's doing that.
That's why I said in a fictional universe, anything goes. I have a speaker that's plugged into my wall that emits a noise that I can't hear but little critters can and drives them away. I had issues with them getting into my walls. Perhaps the rodents themselves found a way to emit a noise across the entire city that nothing but birds can hear and it drives them away. Again, nothing is steeped in fact with a make believe world. You can literally make up anything.
I placed a bunch of these down yesterday and a few of the cakes already have nibbles in them. I have used this stuff for years and it works great, good luck!

My guy uses Demand CS Insecticide https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0047IKI2Q/
Different dilutions for interior/exterior
Safe for dogs once it is fully dry
Side notes: I use permethrin to clear my outdoor gear of mites and ticks which is toxic to cats. I also use diatomaceous earth for preventative DIY control of insects with an exoskeleton. Safe for mammals and all natural. 10 bucks on amazon
Having dealt with bedbugs last year, the temp required to kill bedbugs would destory the laptop. But, you can grab a jump ziploc bag and some pesticide strips, seal it in for a bit and it should effectively kill any organic living thing inside the bag
Took two days to get rid of them with jack's
Thanks, these trees are still very small. I only planted them last year. After I took the picture I removed these and haven't seen any more but I'm concerned.
I've been using this so far these season https://www.amazon.com/Bonide-Chemical-Citrus-Orchard-Concentrate/dp/B000UJTC64 but it's not meant for Japanese Beatles.
I have some Sevin spray left over from last year that is supposed to protect against these so I will use the rest of that tonight and keep an eye out for more beetles.
Tried it. Works 50% of the time. Also, much more legal than sentry guns :)
