I use the Sony Gold headset with my Switch, and it works great. While a headphone jack would be nice, I hope you realize that it's still possible to use wireless headphones with the Switch. You don't have to play with low or no volume!
G430 is consistently about the same price on Amazon.
Is that a better headset (according to the naming)?
Edit: best buy comparison here: G233 is stereo and G430 is surround.
Might not be exactly what you want to hear, but I think you could greatly improve your experience by upgrading your headset. I have the Sony Playstation Gold headset which you can get on amazon for 70 bucks and I personally love it. I have been using it since I first got my PS4 years ago back when it was 100 dollars and I am still thrilled with it. The surround sound is really incredible and you can tell where everything is coming from. Works great if you are into playing multiplayer shooters as well, being able to hear enemy players can give you a huge competitive advantage you didnt even know you were missing out on.
I've got Turtle Beach XO, amazing sound quality, removable flexible microphone, free controller adaptor with 2x bass boost settings and volume control. I use it for my phone and PC too.
I got mine on Amazon for £30, they've gone back up to £44, maybe you could find them cheaper elsewhere.

It wasn't really $150 - it was $124. I had it in my cart yesterday, preparing for Prime Day. At $95, that's a great deal, and it's replacing my old 2TB external drive which I've had since my original Xbox One.
If you need even more storage, the Seagate 8TB (with USB hub) is $144: https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Drive-Storage-Ports-STGG8000400/dp/B072QH2JCL
So as im sure others have pointed out, if you want clean HDMI, you need to have the original DOL-001 version of the gamecube. The original model had a digital out, as shown in this pic.
When you convert the original analog signal (the yellow, white, red cables) it looks like garbage converting it into HDMI and it'll have input lag. There's no way to get around that, really. If you do have the model of gamecube with digital out, you're in luck! The digital signal can easily be converted to hdmi with certain accessories. For example, I use the Retro-bit Prism. The link I posted is its amazon page. It's on sale for ~$75 right now. I bought mine a few weeks ago and it looks fantastic. It has the console output to 480p for any game that supports it, and upscales it to 1080p for your TV. No noticeable input lag, and the games will look so clear that you'll start to notice just how low quality the textures/antialiasing on the gamecube were when not masked by blurry CRTs. There are other HDMI adapters like this one, this is just the only one I've used, and it's one of the cheaper options.
I use the Logitech G430s. They're $40 on Amazon at the time this comment was typed. I've had them for the past few months and they're great.
The 7.1 surround sound is awesome, and there's a pretty nice amount of bass. The ear cups are removable and washable, and the headband has a sort of memory foam as cushion. They feel good to wear for long periods of time and they don't make me sweat at all. It also comes with an above average mic. I can recommend them in a heartbeat.
Amazon also has Logitech G430 Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset on sale for $34.99. Shipping is free. Note that it wont ship until June 21st
The logitech g340 is what I have. It's $40 on Amazon right now.
I love it. It has surround sound and sounds great when listening to music. The mic is pretty good quality as well.

I use this controller on my PS3. It works really well, it has the exact same feel as the dual shock 4. Amazon

Here are all the Quest 2 accessories.
Product info is in German so nice, it will probably release here too.
Amazon Canada is just starting to get the listings up, so it should be in up for pre-order soon I would think
Are you looking for headphones with a mic for online gaming or just headphones for solo gaming?
I think the Sony Golds are the favorites generally for price/value.
If your limit is around $100 and aren't set on turtle beach then the Playstation Gold Wireless Headset is pretty good from what I've used of it. It has the same feature for hearing yourself to adjust how loud you are and I've found that it doesn't interrupt you at all. It's charged via microusb charger and connected to the PS4 or PC via USB dongle (no bluetooth is a downside) or an audio jack that can plug into the controller/PC.
You can get more info here and possible lower prices here if you want to look into it more.
There are some headsets like Logitech G930, G430 etc. that use an additional mic on the "outside" to detect noise coming from other sources and canceling them. Maybe you want to give one of those a try. example
dude, you know that Wii Fit Trainer is only £13 on Amazon right now.
get hew now while you can.
I have the Prism HDMI adapter with an mClassic. The Prism adapter does improve the quality a bit but the mClassic really makes it look incredible, if you have a PC monitor it works flawlessly upscaled from 480p to 1440p and works for a TV as long as it has Enhanced DVI mode capability.

I use this one! In case the link doesn't work it's branded "Intec Gaming."
Also I was wrong about it not supporting Controller Paks; it actually does! You just plug them into the adapter itself if you need to use them.
Proper upscaling is the key to making it look good on a modern display. You could get a Carby or Prism for decent results with GBI, assuming the console is a DOL-001. If you can't find a DOL-001, you could use S-Video with a RetroTINK-2X and it would look fine. If that's out of your budget, I would say just stick with a CRT (still use GBI, though).

Pick whichever one you like, they're effectively the same.
It was this one, but I don’t wanna recommend it too highly because I’ve been unable to get it to function with a controller pak, despite being advertised as compatible.
Saw a guy using this with a video on the 64 fb group. Seemed to work well

I can't speak to the quality but they do exist. I'm not sure why 8bitdo doesn't make them anymore, I'm pretty sure they used to

Play what you like.
If the controller bothers you, I picked up one of these recently and its a dream to revisit N64 titles with a real gamepad not built for 3-handed people https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Adapter-Nintendo/dp/B08VNJ48M6
I tried ordering two from Amazon, but after waiting a month, they never seemed to ship out. Maybe I was just unlucky, because they seem to have good reviews... but if interested this is what I tried to order: http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Adapter-Nintendo/dp/B08VNJ48M6/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?crid=ZDYVPDXQG5Z1&keywords=wireless+n64&qid=1654535712&sprefix=wireless+n64%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-7
I believe there is a way to connect switch controllers to PCs. What I want to use these on the actual N64 with these wireless adapters. https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller-Adapter-Nintendo/dp/B08VNJ48M6/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?crid=ZDYVPDXQG5Z1&keywords=wireless+n64&qid=1654535712&sprefix=wireless+n64%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-7
I tried ordering from them but they never shipped out for a month so I had to do a refund
