No! It's $20 on Amazon! Hurry!!!!
Jokes aside, the PSN sale wasn't great, might as well save $10. You can get it for $20 here. Not sure when this sale ends, as cyber Monday is tomorrow.
Theres a big chance we are going to have a flash sale tomorrow, if not, next friday, so, you could wait to see if we get one tomorrow and look if they have something you are interested.
If theres no sale tomorrow, you can buy Persona 4 Golden from the PSN at 30 USD or physical from amazon at 20 USD, the game is totally worth any price, is a long game, my first run was like 70 hours, one of the best games I have ever played, just have in mind that is the most JRPG thing you will ever play, 75% of great dialogues and 25% dungeons with challenging boss fights.
This game is the same price on Amazon as well as PSN itself. Just in case you'd rather get Amazon's 2-day shipping with Prime or buy a digital download from PSN.
Anyone else who hasn't gotten it, World of Final Fantasy is 50% off MSRP on Amazon right now.
Don't worry, I'm much the same! I liken having physical copies of visual novels to books in that I can also browse and pick one off my shelf to read whenever the mood strikes me. There's nothing different in functionality between the models (I'm rocking a 1000 myself), it's mainly a convenience thing. 2000 is more ideal for portability due to the reasons I've already listed, while 1000 is arguably a better quality build ("premium" feel and not as flimsy, but conversely more heavy) with an OLED screen as opposed to LCD (therefore images are much crisper and vibrant, but the screen is vulnerable to screen burn), and uses a proprietary cable. If you want to splurge on a shiny new Vita, I would recommend importing the special pack from Amazon Japan which is a silver 2000 model that comes with a 32GB memory card. Given how expensive the memory cards are, it's good value!
That's precisely the reason I'm leaving the Switch until way, way later if ever. By the time any otoges that aren't mobile ports hit the Switch in the west, Nintendo will probably have come out with a newer, better model anyway.
And no problem! Always happy to encourage people to partake in the joys of my beloved, forever on its deathbed console. xD
Yes that’s exactly what I did, with shipping Included I think I paid $190. It took 4 days to ship to me in the states.
Here is the amazon Japan link
Dunno about used ones, but the Japan amazon has a days of play vita bundle for about $210 USD here. I hear it’s a great deal, especially since it comes with a 32 GB memory card!
It’s the slim version, btw.
Hey, I'm also from Australia! Unfortunately the vita isn't the cheapest of investments especially if you buy physical, but I import my games from ozgameshop and videogamesplus. They're about A$40 - 50 each. I'm still trying to force myself to shell out for a memory card (and I've had a Vita since 2012) but there are a decent number of listings for them on ebay, otherwise you can also get them off play-asia.
Edit: I missed your question about bundles, sorry. Earlier this year Amazon JP was selling a special pack that included a silver 2000 model vita and a 32GB memory card. The price has gone up by now and I don't know if JP has resumed delivering to Australian addresses (I know US has) but the listing is here if you want to check it out. If you're fine with used, Gumtree is worth a browse as most sellers include a memory card with their console listing.
No to the first one because Japan will still produce Vitas for MSRP until the end of 2019. As for memory card, depends on the size. 8 GB, no but higher capacity ones, maybe. There's actually an official Vita + memory card bundle that's priced reasonably, espeically for new. On Amazon Japan if it ships to you. There's the Days of Play pack and this value pack.

^That's ^why ^I'm ^here, ^I ^don't ^judge ^you. ^PM ^/u/xl0 ^if ^I'm ^causing ^any ^trouble. ^WUT?
I know there's the annoucement thread, but I figured if I just left a comment it'd get buried. So here's a pre-order of the special edition through Amazon. Also available through Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16879225085&Tpk=79-225-085
Here's the regular edition as well: http://www.amazon.com/Persona-Dancing-Night-PlayStation-Vita-Standard/dp/B00YFAIW4C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1432845367&sr=8-2&keywords=persona+4+dancing%5C
It pretty much is constantly $20, if you don't mind a physical copy. It goes on sale on PSN every few months it seems, if you'd prefer to wait for digital.
I bought this one, it was priced good and is also a top pick for most reviewers.
I have a 64GB version not the 512GB. And the protector was the Involer screen protectors:ivoler 3 Pieces Screen Protector for Valve Steam Deck, Premium Tempered Glass Glass, 9H Hardness, Anti-scratch, Bubble Free https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09CKPX9H1/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FHWN2HKA341XFB8CXZ9E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I use this one, it doesn't fit over the entire screen though... good part is it went on super easy and you can't even tell it's on. there's probably a millimeter of clearance on each side.
I bought these: https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B09CKPX9H1
They are a perfect fit BUT: 2 of 3 Protectors were broken so I only had one try. And the touchscreen still works but you have to press way harder to register a press
I was just looking for something similar except for a Nyko grip.
In your case, maybe this would work (not sure how big the hori remote play assist grip is but I'm guessing its probably too big for this): amazon link
In my case, I might try out a mini tablet sleeve/pouch like this (might work for u too): ebay link
Well, in this case, it is available, just expensive or hard to get the console for it.
It's my fault for not having the console to play it in. Why should I download it illegally? And again, even if it wasn't in stock in more, it's not something that would make or break my life. I'll be disappointed and move on. There are plenty of games I've wanted to play but never had the chance to. I'll find something else to keep myself entertained.
Amazon Japan itself is out of units, but there are 3rd party sellers with the deal still: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07D5PDSRW I'm sure if you hit up some of the big box stores in Japan you can find some units too. I don't know if there was a similar deal in the US (I doubt it).
i'll pass, its not worth it for me to ship it out
For a game under $20, I really want to get my hands on Persona 4! I played 5 recently, and absolutely fell in love with it. I spent about 150 hours on it total between 2 complete playthroughs, and getting every trophy, too. So now, instead of being tired of the genre and needing a break, I've actually just got a craving to play even more. Basically, the game boils down to being a student, living your (literally) day to day life, then going into places and fighting monsters with other monsters. It's like Final Fantasy X meets Pokemon meets Time Management. And it's so good.
For a favorite game, I've gotta go with Super Mario RPG. This game oozes charm. It was my first JRPG ever, and features my favorite plumber, too (sorry, Luigi). The game takes the typical Mario formula and turns it upside down, and while that isn't out of the norm these days, it was a huge switch from convention back then. It's a good intro to RPG game with a good story, easy-enough mechanics, and, like I said, a crazy amount of charm. I go back to it every year or two to run it again.
I found this posting of World of Final Fantasy on Amazon that is under the promotion. It gets confusing because they have a couple of different links for the game. Hope this helps.
US Amazon has some copies. I'd just go digital if you're having this much trouble.
Gives me plenty of time to play Dragon Quest Builders on my Vita.
Edit: got [] and ()s mixed up heh.
Edit again: Linked to Amazon which has DQB for Vita for $20. No idea when it will end.
I want it because of my love for the DQ Franchise and how well received it got from the Vita Community.
Did not expect it to blow my mind, from what I played from the Demo. Highly optimized and did not bother me like Terraria or Mincraft.
I have played every canon game from Dragon Warrior until IX. Would have had this game, had it been Physical....I am too small time to get a review code for it.
Would be happy to try it out...
Keep it secret. Keep it safe.
I have this Sony Travel Pouch and it has served me well.
Welcome to the club!! Sub to /r/vita now if you'd like. A niche community of course but always helpful, aside from their discouraging saltiness given the way that Sony has treated the Vita. Their complaints are valid but sometimes it clogs up the place and makes it toxic.
Never played Tearaway but heard it is a "Must-have" and never touched the Final Fantasy series aside from being an avid gamer
since around '94-'95^shhh^don't^tell
P4G is amazing! (but everyone is pretty much going to tell you that.) But it really is one of my favorite video games ever to date. Just be warned that it takes a long ass time to get to the actually gameplay (about 2 hours.) When I started it, I was on a short road trip so it didn't bother me at all, but I still feel like even if I wasn't I wouldn't have gotten bored and begged for gameplay (which can't be said about a lot of story heavy games). Still think it deserves a warning, and after that though the story vs. gameplay is pretty balanced. Also you can skip through all the cutscenes and even fast forward the dialogue but I feel like you would really be doing a disservice to yourself.
One last thing, I prefer to own physical copies of games that are very long and I know I will be playing extensively to save memory. P4G is almost always $20 bucks on amazon I know it's more expensive than what's on sale now but just throwing it out there.
Sony's off and on about whether or not they'll support the system (one chap saying it's a "Legacy" platform while another says they have 1st party content in the works). That said it's still a powerful system and several 3rd party developers with great reputations who continue popping out releases for it like Koei Tecmo (Atelier, Samurai Warriors, and Toukiden are fair examples). Whether or not it's worthwhile however is largely up to you.
Do you like RPGs, Monster Hunter-likes, and Final Fantasy? Do you own a Play Station (you can stream PS4/3 titles across your home to play any game granted an internet connection)? Do you want to conserve the battery on your mobile device with a game that's probably a much more in-depth experience or are you content with Fallout Shelter?
Consider the above, though if I am to throw in an extra bone buy one of these (though not necessarily this one in particular just make sure it's got some kind of loop or hole in the case so you may attach it to something with a sturdy carabiner.). I actually use mine for my phone and other stuff too and it's quite convenient.
