In case you haven’t bought it yet.
Here's the link to the Amazon page these reviews are on!
According to camelcamelcamel, it sells for between $853 and $1400: Link
There is only one real review which says it's basically not even functional and was created only as a display item to demonstrate the various tools in their catalog.
Then returned with two hookers and a cooler full of beer.
But my personal favorite:
> Received this knife as a gift for my 18th birthday. Wish I'd have known what it was because as soon as I touched it, I grew a mustache and became a Navy Seal. Mom fainted and my dad laughed and handed me a beer. I was born a girl.
>Minus 2 stars because my breasts were really nice.
I used to carry a multi-tool in school and used it quite regularly. I pulled splinters, scraped dried glue and gum from desks, tightened eyeglass screws, pried open battery compartments, fixed wobbly tables, opened cartons of paper that were wrapped with heavy plastic strapping...
I use my Leatherman just about every day, and I go through a utility blade on my Gerber EAB every other week.
I don't think it's reasonable to prohibit students from carrying a tool with a nail file, tweezers, multiple screwdrivers, scissors, pliers, wire cutters, can opener or a saw, simply because that tool also has a piece of metal honed to a fine edge.
For anyone over the age of 8, knife bans are utterly ridiculous.
Hey all, thought I'd share this impressive little item with you. I bought it on Amazon as a "fuck it why not" purchase, since it was $7 and I already own utility blades (they're like 50 for $8ish). I'm very impressed. This thing feels solid, and I love the idea of never having to sharpen it. It's also tiny and super easy to slip into a pocket. Not sure if has a pitchfork, but you can probably build one.

The Customer Questions & Answers sections is equally entertaining:
> Question: Can it core a apple?
Answer: Of course it can, but the apple-corer blade is accessible only if you use it immediately after the bagpipe bladder stitch removal cumberbutton and before using the panda baby spoon.
> Question: can we see a photo of this knife in the closed position?
Answer: No. Unfortunately, closing the knife brings too much mass into one location causing the formation of a small black hole. This is not covered by the warranty.
> Question: Where is the Flugelhorn?
Answer: Right in between the warp drive and the creme brulee torch.
To fix this spoon correctly, you will need a Wenger 16999 Swiss Army Knife Giant. Be sure to read the comments of this knife for directions on how to fix this spoon, save a baby whale, and to become a country/western singer.
UV flashlight to check bills. Every store should have one, but they're pretty cheap JiC yours doesn't. Like 10 bucks.
I used to carry my own box cutter since most of the time the store's cutter is duller than plastic knives on the condiment bar. Something like this is cheap, small, clips to your pocket.
I guess it depends on the store, but I always wore a watch, almost always a GSHOCK with multiple alarms (to keep track of breaks/tasks/shift changes/etc), stopwatch, and hourly chime. Barring wearing a watch, a small portable alarm clock with a clear, easy-to-read face.
Nope. Message "this item does not ship to [your destination]" is a standard part of their platform and they apply it strictly. Even for stupid stuff like Gerber EAB lite you just won't get it shipped from Amazon to a country that Gerber does not want to sell it in.
The amazon reviews for this product are great!
The kershaw blur in S30V is an amazon deal of the day. Kershaw Blur S30V Folding Pocket Knife (1670S30V); 3.4” S30V Blade with Stonewashed Finish and Anodized Aluminum Handle with Trac-Tec Inserts, SpeedSafe Assisted Opening, Reversible Pocketclip; 4 OZ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015ZXCT0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_xun8BbXGBXX84
The Kershaw Leek is on sale for $30 from Amazon. It's made in the US out of higher-end steel than the options you mentioned and the other suggestions. This means it will stay sharp longer, though 14C28N is still very easy to sharpen.
Kershaw's warranty service is also excellent. It's a lifetime warranty and pretty much no-questions-asked. Small parts are available by mail free of charge. Even if you break a blade through abuse, they'll only charge $10 to replace it.
Fun fact, that specific knife is a collectors item and can be bought new on Amazon for $11,000. Downside is The Verge would still be unable to apply thermal paste properly.

I do quite a few extended backpacking trips every year and have never needed anything more than the Swiss Army Classic SD.
Leatherman tools are great for car camping or around the house, but I can't justify the weight on backpacking trips.
step up to this model:
Ontario Knife Company 8848 Rat I Folding Knife - EDC Knife (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013ASG3E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WPBXZHS3V3KVBSK0ZDJB
Or for about $40 you can get a D2 model which has a little better steel
If you dressed up a razor blade for the prom, you'd get this.
Which is highly recommended. It also takes Irwin X2 thickness blades.
Ah, I see. Kershaw's website has it listed at the full MSRP, but most other vendors sell it at MAP, which is closer to 50 for most versions. Amazon link for example: https://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-1660-Ken-Onion-Leek/dp/B0009VC9Y0
If you don't know how to sharpen a knife, try buying something that you can switch out the blade when it gets dull, like this.
Victorinox Swiss Army Classic SD
Small yet reliable. I use the scissors more than the blade. $17 is cheap too, so if you lose it you won't cry.
I've had this box cutter/ knife for a few years and it has held up very well. Gerber has a lifetime warranty that I will probably never have to use. I've owned many pocket knives but this one is hard to beat for quality. Best part about it is that it's under $8 on Amazon with Free Prime shipping.

Amazing. I love the Internet community. If you liked this you'll definitely enjoy the Amazon reveiws for the Wenger 16999 Swiss Army Knife. Oh, and also this banana slicer. I have both pages bookmarked for rainy days - the reviews are that funny.

Seems like with a knife this inexpensive it is a no-brainer to get it new. Just my two cents. Good luck with your search.
My amazon says the knife is $9k. And the FAQs are waaaay funnier:
This is one of the more interesting things I've seen on here. Keep in mind the pt850 could just be a model number or some type of other marking. You will need to get the metal tested. I'd suggest just having it appraised. Even if it's stainless steel it's worth a couple grand at least if fully functional and does come from Solingen. I've seen some from the 1800's sell to collectors for around $15k. There are even ones like the link below that are museum pieces.
They are called exhibition multi tools because it is the knife that manufacturers would carry to world fairs etc to showcase their goods and attract attention. They have become a bit of a famous joke on Amazon for the hilarious reviews.

Very cool find, thanks for sharing.
