TheQuartering has a good list, but Vox Day literally wrote the books on this. SJWs Always Lie, and SJWs Always Double Down. The latter has a chapter expressly on corporate infiltration.
The key way you stop infiltration is ruthless kick/ban/fire anyone who shows SJW tendencies. It must be rule #1 for any organization. No appeal, no warning, just boom, you're banned/fired.
Of course. This is exactly as described by Vox Day in his book
> scooter flirts with neoreaction like a horny teenage boy befuddled by a bra.
great line. OK, now I have to buy Nrx A basilisk
Ok, just bought it and in the intro she's already shitting on Nagle. 5 stars would read again
the book Neoreaction: a basilisk by Elizabeth Sandifer seems pretty relevant here, it covers neo-reactionaries Nick land and Mencius moldbug, as well as showing how Yudkowsky relates to them.
accuracy ~~has nothing to do with~~ is just one component of effective persuasion. quick rundown:
there are two modes of persuasion, dialectic and rhetoric. dialectic is based on facts, rhetoric on emotions. dialectic is concerned with accuracy, rhetoric with effect.
rhetoric is without any question the more effective mode of persuasion. somebody who disagrees with you on an emotional level isn't going to listen to your well-thought out and proven assertions that a given thing is wrong. they will definitely listen to effective ridicule or humiliation for their wrong beliefs.
the most effective rhetoric, however, is that backed up by facts. the reason why SJWs are reacting the way they are to the crisis actor meme isn't because of their high-handed moral supremacy regarding the victims of a tragedy, but because they CAN, HAVE, and WILL IN THE FUTURE use tragedies like this as planks to push idiotic social policy, and anything that threatens that stranglehold must needs be anathema. thus, the recent flailing.
you have a tactic at your disposal which is proved to be effective and which is in fact backed up by the truth. there is no more useful term than "crisis actor" because it causes such pain and suffering to the bunnies. use it and use it often.
further useful reading. it's on sale, grab it while it's hot.

I think it was higher up there when it came out. Or when the cucks started buying it
I mean, I was trying to just hit the high notes of Fascism, not do a comprehensive definition that would take up a book, which yeah, there are in fact whole books about this..
That being said, I think this falls under the hero worship bit, or at least derives from it. The "strong man" who cuts through the bullshit does so by cutting through the laws and restrictions on centralization of power, turning the entirety of government into something that revolves around himself. The single-party is just a vehicle for his cult of personality, the totalitarianism just a consequence of him wielding all power without any checks or balances.
So you know, arguably that's already implied in that definition.
You can actually see that chapter if you go to the amazon page and click the cover to use amazon's "look inside" feature which shows some preview pages, and then search for the keyword "plumber" to find the page where that excerpt came from. This page is in the "Limits of Deductive Reasoning" section of the chapter titled "What Is An Argument?", and that's the last section before the next chapter, titled "Correlation and Causation"...~~there is nothing in the rest of the first chapter that gives any explanation of the difference between objecting to the logic and objecting to the premises~~ edit: my bad, in the next chapter I see he does actually have a section called "the difference between 'logical' and 'true'" where he explains how a syllogism can be logically sound even if its premises are false, though from the sections available in preview it doesn't look like he revisits the plumber example to show how it applies to that one.
You might as well be quoting Vox Day. I'm not sure how long I expect this book to stay up on Amazon, given the way the winds are blowing these days.
You might also check out r/SneerClub- probably the most vociferous critics of the Rationalist movement out there. I also highly recommend Neoreaction: A Basilisk by Elizabeth Sandifer.
And yeah, he totally has an early-stage cult going. It's pretty gross.
I have seven years of university schooling and no degree, lol. Three in History/Literature, four in Geology. I've also kept up a pretty much relentless program of self-education since my mid-twenties. (Which, definitely inferior to graduate or post graduate school, but pretty handy for a fiction writer like myself, where breadth of study is more useful than depth.)
I regret that I have but one upvote to give.
The Most Dangerous Superstition by Larken Rose. I believe Part I (of IV) is available in preview on Amazon, as well as on Good Reads.
Unless, of course, OP wants to ease his friends into libertarianism, rather than jumping into full blown voluntarism and morality. :D
The far right calls him "Juden Peterstein", a "jewish, globalist shill" or "cuck" and writes books like Jordanetics about him.
You might find this book interesting. Only $2.99 on Kindle and definitely worth the price.
It talks about the ideas of anarcho-capitalism including privatizing police and national defense.

>How do we make progress on the environment when it seems like two thirds of the country doesn't care that much?
The answer to every single one of those questions is that you can't.
The Cold war was an economic war more than an ideological one. Or rather the win condition was, in my humble opinion.
I don't know how much you follow tech news but we're living a fast-changing world. Digital states are around the corner and the old geographical state will have to compete for attention with cryptobros.
The next global war is memetic.
So I don't really want to rummage around for some of the nastier allegations, but I highly recommend Elizabeth Sandifer's excellent book Neoreaction: A Basilisk if you want to know more.
And here's a pretty excellent video takedown of a lot of Yudkowsky's truly ridiculous philosophy. (Including mention of, fucked up content warning, Yudkowsky's sci-fi work where>!rape is legal, for apparently no reason.!<)
Not to mention, Yudkowsky believes his Methods of Rationality are actually superior to science, and states so multiple times in his big magnum opus, the Sequences.
You could also just spend a while browsing r/SneerClub- they're basically a bunch of (mostly) leftists and philosophy nerds who can't stand the Rationalist movement, and get really snarky and shitpost about it a bunch. (Fair warning, it's a DEEP rabbit hole.)
...You can probably tell I'm pretty salty about Yudkowsky- largely because I almost got sucked into his movement's orbit, until his "superior to science" comments triggered all sorts of alarm bells in my head, and I started deep-diving into this stuff. I really resent almost being made a fool of. (Also, people keep comparing my work to his, which... I dunno. Never read HPMOR, never intend to, so I don't actually know, but still makes me a little grumpy.)
That is absolutely going to happen. The depth and nuance on this show. Soon, it’ll be listed here for great minds to ponder:

>Jordan Peterson is a recognized behavioral psychologist. IMHO a well-intentioned and a great one.
https://www.amazon.com/Jordanetics-Journey-Humanitys-Greatest-Thinker-ebook/dp/B07JY9XV38
Please read more and post less. Jordan Peterson is a fraud and controlled opposition. This is not a conspiracy theory, and I'm not writing this from my mothers basement. So please its not your humble opinion, you're just wrong.
If you are a newbie and a fan of stuff, there's a series called "Pop Culture and Philosophy" that starts with some pretty famous properties and discusses some ideas related to those.
I mean, I'm just telling you the truth. As I said, Vox Day wrote an entire book on him that is unflattering to say the least: https://www.amazon.com/Jordanetics-Journey-Humanitys-Greatest-Thinker-ebook/dp/B07JY9XV38
Vox Day is alt-right. If you go to /pol for instance, you will find some people supporting him, but then you will find the people who type things like ((them)), which if you don't know what that means it's code for alt-right people making references to Jewish people, saying how dumb/bad Jordan Peterson is, and how he is probably "controlled opposition" and various things like this.
Once you dig into the extreme alt-right, you will find they despise him because he doesn't play identity politics, which is the cornerstone of the alt-right. Not sure why you want to die on this hill. I've already conceded to you that Conservatives/right people will tend to gravitate toward Peterson's message. That's not really a controversial view point. But the alt-right despise him, and really anybody who does not share their extreme views.
The main reason the alt-right will never go anywhere is because of their exclusionary tactics. They refuse to accept anyone who doesn't swallow their entire doctrine, which is why they excommunicate people at similar rates to the Left. If someone doesn't "name the Jew" as they call it, they refuse to accept them. People who are extreme on the Right are not extreme enough for the alt-right, and one little thing can go wrong for you and the alt-right will disown you. They seriously are very extreme and I suggest you dig deeper into some groups or some of them and really see to what extent their extremism goes.
>He isn't popular
71 millions votes.
I'm not actually worried about Trump himself managing to become a dictator. I don't rule it out but you nailed the reason, his top brass military support is lacking.
HOWEVER, There's a whole lot of pissed of idiots with guns and a devotion to Trump.
It's those people that are the issue. There is a reason that dictators are generally populists.
If they rise up we're not stuck with the option of becoming the authoritarians ourselves just to prevent the country from being torn apart.

If you decide you'd like to learn, it's only $12 but there's a free audiobook I'd you sign up for an audible trial.
You haven't answered either question. Do you intend to uphold democracy in accordance with your duty as an American citizen? Or will you engage in violence to give Trump a second term? It's important that you are clear in your head about this, because it's not Communism you need to worry about, it's Fascism.
Communism is very unlikely to ever take hold in America since the whole American identity is built around Capitalism which is not compatible. However Fascism is very compatible with Capitalism.

Since you like to read, I highly reccomend this book How Fascism Works by Jason Stanley
Here is one of his lectures

If you are worried about getting loaded onto trains, Stanley is a respected expert on what leads to that situation.
The book on Amazon has a preview, and it's probably enough for you to get where he's going to go for the rest of the book lol.
Yeah, that's right. Instead of trying to end the Prison Industrial Complex and the High School to Prison Pipeline, they should become domestic terrorists like the Proud Boys. Someone's family learned to hate BLM by watching Fox News.
All three Media outlets love Black Lives Matter. Well, except for except for Fox News,Breitbart, Drudge Report, the thousands of local media outlets owned by Sinclair Media, Rupert Murdoch's dozens of right wing papers, Fox Business, Washinton Times, Worldnetdaily, the New America, News Busters, Daily Caller, Newsmax, The Federalist, The Hill, Christian Science Monitor, The Blaze, Pajamas Media, One America News Network, The Daily Wire, and literally hundreds of others.
Thank you for your response!
Agreed regarding religiosity, but even secular Israeli Jews have quite a bit higher than secular American jews, something like 2.1 to 1.6 I think.
The demographic decline of secular American Jews is such an important story in my opinion.
Eric Kaufmann has a great book on fertility differentials you might like! He was on Tyler Cowen's podcast about a year ago, great episode!
If you're still a fan and unable to see the evil wizardry of this very insane and perverted man who chose a stranger over his own family, who likes the whorish Instagram pics of this THOT daughter, who is addicted to meth and required in-treatment at an addiction facility, who has a Hollywood management agency that is well known as the "handler" of many of Hollywood "elite" actors, and who is literally a Trilateral Globalist (having written at least one paper for them and having been invited to the meeting of the Trilateral Commission), then by all means, do your own research.
And that's not said in any "smartass' way, just direct and blunt so no offense... Just know there are a lot of pro-Peterson folks who are gonna read and add their dissent.
Perhaps start with this book:

Some people might think this is not appropriate for this sub. I am approving this for the following reasons:
JP is a public figure, and therefore is a legitimate subject of debate.
JP is not without his flaws, as there even exist entire books devoted to criticizing him.
It is possible that we have a number of JP followers here, giving us great debate potential.
However, I am warning you. Anyone caught flaming or being uncivil will be given a ban of no less than 7 days.
This is a test of virtue. Will you be able to defend (or attack) something dear to you in a civil and constructive manner? Let's find out.
