“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Creating a Champion”
I highly recommend it! There’s so many amazing facts and illustrations ☺️

It's the map that comes in the Creating a Champion Hero's Edition It's fantastic!
May I also suggest this book I co-authored on the visual history of Dungeons & Dragons. Something in it for fans of all generations! Happy Holidays!
I think he’s ready for this children’s bedtime classic:
Go the F**ck to Sleep

My last art book was Hyrule Historia , a Zelda art book which was also published by Dark Horse Comics. I’m very excited for this one. :D
Looks like it's up for pre-order on Amazon. It's being released January 23, 2018.
Once you have finished watching through, and have fallen in love with this show (and you will), you need to buy the 'Go Team Venture!' book to accompany your rewatch.
You can thank me later

You should pick up Art & Arcana, a new book of historical D&D art. It’s full of great works like this.
MSRP is $40 in the US, but hardly any place will sell it for that. As others stated, it is $24 on Amazon at the moment, which is about the price I've paid for all the other Legend of Zelda books.
'Creating a Champion' book, hero's edition!! I preordered on Amazon (it was a bit cheaper back in August :( ) but it should now be widely available (I think?): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1506710115/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Your best bet would probably be the Hyrule Historia book as it contains the "official" timelines as well as lots of other lore and background information on the games.
So the Ocarina is from the Zelda game Ocarina of Time. You said he's played Skyward Sword Twilight Princess and breath of the wild? And that he especially enjoyed breath of the wild...
This is basically a book that has a lot of lore stuff about breath of the wild. Explanations of locations, events, concept art the works.
It's kind of pricey but it's something that most fans of breath of the wild will enjoy.
Is anyone here a Venture Bros fan? I find myself with two copies of the Go Team Venture! art book and I don't need both. It goes for about $27 on Amazon, I'm happy to let the shrink wrapped copy I have go for $20.
The English version of the book is called “Creating a Champion” here’s an amazon link (assuming you’re in the US)
This book is fucking amazing for people new to drawing the human form. it goes over heads, perspectives, dynamic poses, etc.
Not sure who did the art—not at home now, but if you like dnd art check out this book on Amazon. Basically covers the history of the game from when Gygax and co. were doing medieval battle rules to the 5.0. For an old dude it sure brought back a bunch of memories. https://www.amazon.com/Dungeons-Dragons-Art-Arcana-History/dp/0399580948/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Art+of+dungeons+and+dragons&qid=1613000248&sr=8-2
If you don't mind spending a little money: How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way (Amazon Link) is an excellent resource. It suffers slightly from being "a little about a lot" but there is plenty to learn from it and it's entertaining & easy to read.
There also appears to be a Youtube video narrated by Stan Lee and John Buscema. I haven't seen this before today, but the drawings in the video are straight out of the book.
Here is, in no particular order, a short list of gifts I'm getting my wife, and the reasoning behind each.
These are the gifts I got her that actually reference her being pregnant. For other ideas...
Hyrule Historia. Great book for reasonably cheap, a real collectors item and essential to understanding Zelda timelines, previous games and lore.
Should I get this? It's currently $33.08 CAD for Pre-order at Amazon Canada.
Gonna copy and paste my earlier text:

I went googling and geeked out (and may have also squee'd) when I saw these.
Also check out the Edwards Menagerie and Crochet ever after in Amazon.
Wait, I can't find the Amazon link. Can you link me?
Edit: Never mind, found it. I had no idea that they renamed it to "Breath of the Wild - Creating a Champion"!
