I have a little different take on this. What you want is a Bosch 12V combo kit. It has both a drill/driver as well as an impact driver. They share batteries and a charger:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046ZRYPE/ref=psdc_552734_t1_B005GT0IWK
These are perfect for around the house. I use them almost exclusively for work, too. Incredibly powerful for their size, and I can't stress enough how useful an impact driver is.
DEWALT 20V Max Cordless Drill Combo Kit, 2-Tool (DCK240C2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJ0ALYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_8E5BPXTMMDB4Z5G84CJ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Power drill and impact driver for less than 200$. Has batteries, a charger, and a bag.
Amazon has the Bosch 12v kit on sale for $99. I'd jump all over this if I didn't already have em.

You can thank me later.
I just purchased this XR drill combo from Amazon this week. $279, MSRP is $399. Seemed like a good price considering you get (2) 5Ah batteries, charger, and a hardshell case with it. Lowes and HD have it too, but in my area it was going to be a few weeks to get it shipped. Amazon sent it within a couple of days. On Amazon it also let you add items but I'm not too sure if you save any money doing so. If you are getting in the trades you will probably need the bigger batteries. A lot of kits come with smaller ones so it's important to pay attention to that when shopping around and how much batteries cost if you had to buy bigger ones later. 2-5Ah batteries might retail for $125-$150 for a set.
This DeWalt max XR impact driver and drill kit is on sale for $179 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A08YKV6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?tag=slickdeals09-20&ascsubtag=7482d9d67e1811edbd18eef2e093f6790INT&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1
Don’t worry about the bits. You can go to any big box hardware store and find a deal right now
The Bosch 12V drill + impact with 2 x 2.0A batteries and charger is currently on sale for around $110. I got them for $100 a few days ago and they just arrived. Watched some reviews and it's a pretty good set of small tools. I used it today to fix a table I got from craigslist and it worked really well. It's good enough and I have other tools for small tasks and I have 18V Milwaukee tools for tougher jobs. To start, it's really good. I would really pick a brand and stick with it. Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, and Bosch are my favorite brands. Rigid makes ok power tools but their plumbing tools are top tier.
There's already a similar tool available:
https://www.amazon.com/BLACK-DECKER-BDCDMT1206KITC-Matrix-Combo/dp/B00PK4XY90
And from the looks of it, there's no way the motor is inside the handle unless you want your power tool to melt your skin off after 15 minutes.
I purchased this Dewalt set and have been loving it!
DEWALT 20V MAX XR Cordless Drill... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DQ19B1S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It was $300 when I bought it and that's a steal! Two of the BIG batteries, the Charger, the Hammer Drill/Driver, AND the Hard Case.
I'm a Locksmith and I out these mothers to work! Never let me down.
Dewalt 100%. However, if you have a little more starter money I would encourage you to consider this one.

This is what you want.

So I just bought this a few moments ago. Not sure how it converts to your location but Amazon seems to have some good deals popping up:

I would encourage you to get a drill and impact driver set if you can afford it. If you've never used an impact driver, you're in for a real treat.
Dewalt and Makita are some good options. I've had my Dewalt set for 9 years and the batteries have started to fade, but I'm not sure whether to just get new batteries or new tools too.
Here is one example. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJ0ALYS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_H27X98RQFMD0JWSG44YJ
https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCK240C2-Lithium-Driver-Impact/dp/B00IJ0ALYS
Sometimes goes on sale for ~$100. Best purchase I made. Batteries last well and don't need to drag extension cord around.

man I suck with inch, we don't use this measure here, would that work?

Amazon usually has nice deals on Bosch tools every so often. I've had this kit (the earlier version from ~2012 and the updated version I bought this summer) that I really like:
https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-CLPK22-120-Lithium-Ion-Batteries-Carrying/dp/B005GT0IWK
I got that one for $92 in May.
Unless the Ridgid warranty has changed, it's pretty useless for the homeowner who occasionally uses a tool.
It's been a very good deal for me, though. When a battery goes bad I take it to the authorized service center and drop it off. A few weeks later I stop by again to get my replacement battery. (Even if they have a battery in stock, they can't give it to me if I'm invoking the lifetime warranty.)
The only reason I do this is that I have other batteries and I have other drills. It's only a minor inconvenience if the battery or the drill is out of service for a few weeks.
If I could only have one drill, it would be a Bosch 1/2" corded. Next I'd get the Bosch 12V driver/impact driver combo - relatively inexpensive and plenty good enough for just about anything a homeowner would ever use it for. It's $100 on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Bosch-CLPK22-120-Lithium-Ion-Batteries-Carrying/dp/B005GT0IWK
Black-and-Decker Matrix cordless set - BLACK+DECKER Cordless Drill Combo Kit with Case, 6-Tool (BDCDMT1206KITC) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PK4XY90/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WBymFbR43K3FG There is a same set branded Craftsman Bolt On. It’s super compact and is my favorite go-to tool!
As many have said, use screw. With what you paid, you could get yourself a decent cordless impact or drill that will have 100 different uses around your home. It is almost essential for home repair and will make most jobs 100 times easier. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCK240C2-Lithium-Driver-Impact/dp/B00IJ0ALYS/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=drill+impact+set&qid=1596823526&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUkVHTjhXMFNDTzgxJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzYwNzUyM0dUUzM1NVQzVFRRTyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzAwNDMxMjJTQTNNOVRMVkIxOSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= will be 100 times more useful. You can also find a cheaper brand that will work for lighter applications.
For what you're describing, I would honestly recommend a 12v setup.
I personally would not recommend getting Makita/DeWalt/Milawukee. They will often put their basic drill/driver/impact sets on good sales, but when you want to buy another tool or battery, you'll find they're like twice the price of brands like Ryobi or Ridgid.
Bosch 12v tools are well made and affordable.
Agreed, I don't think I can go wrong going with either. The Dewalt prices are cheaper currently with sales.
This deal does look tempting especially as I get 5% off at Amazon and have a $50 GC I was recently awarded through work: https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCK283D2-Compact-Cordless-Driver/dp/B01A08YKV6/
However, the impact driver it comes with is the DCF887 which is 1/4". I assume this would not be good for cars with removing the lug nuts and such correct? Come to think of it, my deep impact socket set is 1/2". Doh!
Im a little late to the party but id recommend these.bosch 12v i know you dont need the drill but the impact only set is only $10 less and having both is pretty convenient. Coupled with a set of makita impact sockets which are only about $12, and they include a socket adapter. Youd be all set. We’ve had a set of these for about 8 years at my work and they get used every single day and are great. The brushless ones are supposed to be even better but if i had a tighter budget, i wouldnt thing twice about buying another set of these. What you listed isnt really made since by the time impacts came along, cordless was already gaining a foothold, so the market never really developed for them. I have never seen anything that isnt a 1/2” anvil on a corded impact from a big brand. Thats not to say there isnt one out there, but if it something you find on amazon and has a brand name youve never heard of, i wouldnt waste your hard earned money on it.
