You should have yourself checked for exercise induced asthma. A normal healthy person should be able to breathe even at -50C. What you really need to worry about is frostbite. I recommend a neoprene face mask that has holes in it to allow you to breathe. I have something like this from Amazon. I'd also recommend windproof underwear (if you're a dude) and windproof jacket and pants. I've been running outside all year round from +40C to -40C .
You could get a fleece mask/neck gaiter like this.
I wear a face mask similar to this when the temps drop. What I have found is the need for the holes for the nose & mouth for my breath to escape. This aids in preventing my glasses fogging up. I also wear a separate beanie style hat, goggles & a neck gaiter. I realize they sell this setup (excluding goggles) as 1 piece but I find by having separate pieces I can use them individually as needed based on my comfort needs.
Hope that helps!
I've got a full face neoprene mask (kind of like this one) I plan on trying if it gets too cold. I might look like a psychopath but it should be warm!
A face mask that use for skiing will help keep the cold off your face for a little bit.
Winter Face Mask & Neck Gaiter - Cold Weather Half Balaclava - Tactical Neck Warmer for Men & Women - Face Cover / Shield https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LE04OXI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QKH2Q90101HDH39580TS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Do you wear anything over your face under it? If not, get a balaclava. I can link you to the ones I use that come in a 6 pack for hella cheap. They are really thin, so you won't overheat in them (I overheat just normally, and these do NOT make it any worse at all), and they have a mesh that covers your nose and mouth, which will help stop the fogging up of the eyes of the mask.

If you do winter riding on roads than buy bike lights that will really help you and keep you safe
Covid masks well not surgical ones, I’ve never wore one of those full face ones so im not sure, preferably I’d use one of these

Sorry about the link, here's the Balaclava I've got mouth nose and eye protection figured out, but I want to protect my ears and forehead along with those. I don't want to buy a full mask because that's going to interfere with aiming, as well as mobility. Hope this stuff will suffice
Just touching on the face pro, I'd largely recommend a solid face pro over just cloth. Metal mesh or Polymer or something are almost always superior. It also varies on what the fields require, some are strict about having hardened full face protection. In my experience, just layered cloth can still give you a chipped tooth if your mouth was open and you were shot from close range. At the very least if you insist on cloth face pro, the Neoprene masks like This are fairly protective. Personally I've taken to one of these because it uses stronger mesh over the important bits and the soft sides doesn't really interfere with aiming.
Here is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Neoprene-Skull-White-Black/dp/B0012TRLWS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1449704124&sr=8-4&keywords=neoprene+skull+mask
My son bought it for airsoft battles, but gave it to me for winter running. I don't mind the paint job on it either...turns heads :) They do have many different kinds, just search neoprene mask on amazon.
I used to run a neoprene mask (nowadays running mesh mask): http://www.amazon.com/ZANheadgear-Neoprene-Face-Mask-Black/dp/B000LW1TRU
They're quite uncomfortable but this allows you to rest your cheek on your gun's stock and aim down through the sights.
I know it's corny but I just bought this for some photo's I'm taking next month.
