I use nature made... bonus they sell it at Costco
Nature Made Prenatal Multivitamin with 200 mg DHA, Multivitamin to Support Baby Development and Mom, 90 Softgels, 90 Day Supply https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005DEK9KE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6PE74RZMBRRM5E98EG62
These are the ones I was thinking of, but there are a few more brands on amazon as well.
I take the solimo (amazon) brand gummies which don't include iron, but most gummies typically don't have iron. I alternate them occasionally with a grocery store brand prenatal that does have iron, but I can't handle them every day.
I take these! They are by far the best I’ve tried, no flavor or aftertaste because you just swallow one and your done! I’ve had 0 side effects from them
Actif Organic Prenatal Vitamin with 25+ Organic Vitamins, 100% Natural, DHA, EPA, Omega 3, and Organic Herbal Blend - Non-GMO, 90 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LVYT5RL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NRFVP3W2V5SQJE6RMHQE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XSD99V3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_CAV4TV0M0CPBQ0RGZYY3
If you’re ok with gummies instead of pills, these are vegan and soy free.
Definitely consult with your ob if there’s anything that you should be additionally supplementing. Gummies typically don’t contain iron or choline, which is recommended for some people.
Used this brand During my first pregnancy and again now. Love them!
They’re: Organics Prenatal Gummy Vitamins - Berry - Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher Complete Multi - Methyl B12, D3 & Folate - Gluten, Soy & Dairy Free - 120 Real Fruit Chew Gummies
Not liking your prenatals is the worst! What about these on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Prenatal-Vitamin-Folate/dp/B06XSD99V3
They're not super cheap but maybe you could just take them for the first trimester and then switch? I'm starting to look into other prenatals too, the ones I'm taking have a weird taste and it's making me gag.
The pregnacare liquid tastes the same as the chewable vitamins - I know, because I have had the same issue as your wife. I bought chewable vitamins on amazon. They are expensive but you get tonnes in the bottle.
I bought these ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003IP8BC8/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
But yeah, they taste pretty much the same as the pregnacare liquid, which I also bought. I think they are harder to get in this country because they are quite sugary.
I wouldn’t say the pregnacare liquid made me gag. It just had a weird aftertaste, so I just had a glass of juice after.
Edited to add:
In my first pregnancy my midwife told me I only NEEDED to take vitamin D after a certain point, as I have a balanced diet, and that the prenatals were expensive and folic acid is only necessary in the first trimester to prevent neural tube defects, so the expense of the above vitamins might be a one off payment while she still feels sick. I don’t want to give you medical advice as I don’t know your wife or what her pregnancy is like, but after a certain point she won’t feel sick anymore I hope, and you could go back to cheaper vitamins...
I take both a prenatal & a DHA, purchased from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JAT3TU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0039LF25A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The prenatal has folate instead of folic acid which is supposed to be better (folic acid is the synthetic form of folate)?
I just started taking Garden of Life Raw Prenatal. It checks all of your boxes except the DHA/ Omega 3s. I take Nordic Naturals because I had a lot of the same requirements as you, and wasn’t able to find one that checked every single box in high, sustainably sourced ingredients without gluten/ soy/ synthetic fillers.
It has 800mcg of folate. I found a lot of the prenatals with fish oils lacked other vitamins I wanted, or had soy.
Came here to say this! I LOVE the smarty pants vitamins because they have DHA and methylfolate. I had a problem taking my prenatal vitamins in my first trimester because they kept making me throw up, which defeated the point because I wasn’t getting the nutrients. Since these are gummy vitamins it makes them really easy to take them.

Editing to add that I strongly prefer the original to the “Organic” version. The organic version has vegetarian flax seed oil instead of fish oil, which isn’t as good for you since its not DHA or EPA. Only go for the organic version if you’re a vegetarian.
I would say take the vitamins. Do your research and buy ones with the most bioavailable ingredients, because not all supplements are equal.
Having a varied diet is great, but the reality is our produce has less vitamins and minerals than they did when our grandparents were eating them. For example, you would need to eat 8 oranges to get the same amount of vitamins our grandparents would get eating one. Topsoil is being depleted of nutrients from overfarming and industrialized practices. Crop rotation isn't even helping the issue.
All that to say, you definitely want to take vitamins, but make sure they're batch testing at the manufacturing facility. These are the vitamins I took, for reference.
I have taken vitex for PMDD for about six months now. It has lengthened my cycle by a couple of days (used to be 24 days, now 26), but hasn’t delayed my ovulation any (day 12-13). My favorite I’ve found so far is this brand. It’s a little pricy, but it has vitex plus a lot of the other recommended supplements for ttc.
I think it’s effects and benefits (or lack thereof) truly varies from person to person though. So if your curious, it doesn’t hurt to try it for a month or two 🤷🏻♀️
I take Garden of Life Vital Raw Prenatal, it's in a capsule form and can be added to a drink instead. You do have to take it 3x a day but it has folate which is the natural version of folic acid and easier for your body to absorb. Vital Code Prenatal multivitamin
It’s definitely possible to get all the nutrients you need from food. However, pretty unrealistic and expensive IMO wayyy too much work🙃 I was sick for 18 weeks of my pregnancy and there’s no way I could have even bottled up the energy to make a single meal in those 18 weeks lol. These are the prenatals I took and they have everythingggg, they’re amazing. A little pricier than some but they last 3 months. I’m 7 months PP and I still take them!
Actif Organic Prenatal Vitamin with 25+ Organic Vitamins, 100% Natural, DHA, EPA, Omega 3, and Organic Herbal Blend - Non-GMO, 90 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LVYT5RL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q9KRX1PGXQ3Z2NJXJ9MZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
These are magical. I take them in the morning with a full glass of water and breakfast, and they haven't caused any nausea nor have they given me any weird taste in my mouth. They have some kind of herbal blend to support nausea as well.
Vitafusion Prenatal DHA and folic acid rubber vitamin https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003IP8BC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_9TCCYB04PHH8JBP8D5WY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Pregnacare is the worst. I tried various but eventually the above worked well.
Failing that just get a plain folic acid and a pain vit d.
These are so the opposite of disgusting that I sometimes worry that they're not doing anything. (They are though!) They're easy to swallow, they don't taste like anything, I don't burp up any awful flavors and I think they help with nausea. You only have to take one and it has DHA and iron, along with everything else.
I like this one but there are lots of great ones. Note this one you take 3 pills a day. Definitely read the dosing on any you look at to ensure you are taking the amount needed.
I use nature made
It has DHA, folic acid/folate, iron, and vitamin D. These are all my personal requirements for what I need personally.
I will say they are horse pills and during pregnancy they’ve been hard to swallow. For me, it’s easier than getting all the separate supplements but it’s really a personal preference :)
These are the best prenatals I’ve ever taken and I’ve had to try quite a few!
Actif Organic Prenatal Vitamin with 25+ Organic Vitamins, 100% Natural, DHA, EPA, Omega 3, and Organic Herbal Blend - Non-GMO, 90 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LVYT5RL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_895FEBK9216RXTVJ687H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I was struggling a lot with nausea early on and stressing about nutrition for baby, especially since the nurse was recommending trying to eat salmon or low mercury fish once a week and that was making me want to throw up. My doctor said to just make sure I was taking my prenatal and to check that it had DHA in it.
I use this one and it's been great.

I was on the depo off and on for about 7 years before switching to the pill and finally stopped taking bc all together in October 2020. I’ve been using these Conception Fertility Prenatal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMKCV4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and my periods have been regular and I have been ovulating.

No problem at all. I take these: Actif Organic Prenatal Vitamin with 25+ Organic Vitamins, 100% Natural, DHA, EPA, Omega 3, and Organic Herbal Blend - Non-GMO, 90 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LVYT5RL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PJNCASE5NXEK50771QFY
And they have made a huge difference in how I feel daily. I also take iron supplements and do strength training 3x a week! Hope this helps.
Working out brought on my period for the first time in months. I’ve had it consistently since working out.
Vitamin c I've never heard of for fertility. Somebody with a short LP on an old reddit post who fell pregnant just reccomended these to me claiming it's what got her pregnant. I need to do more research but they look interesting! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMKCV4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
CONCEPTION Fertility Prenatal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMKCV4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share This worked for me. I also used conception tea but I don't think that did anything. Then I was drinking pineapple core smoothies after conception, theoretically to help it 'stick' if you do conceive. And even with all that it was a near miss, I was spotting right on time for my period. I was so upset it didn't work but then 🤷♀️ it did! The spotting only lasted a few hours and we got a positive a few days later
Prenatals and most vitamins make me sick. Progesterone made me so mush worse. It was brutal. I had to be on anti nausea for it. These don’t!! Okay so the best gummies EVER are Smarty pants prenatal formula! They come in four flavors and you take four a day. I seriously look forward to them every morning.
