Yes, it will just take longer to do the same job. There are some pros however. Gas pressure washers go though a lot of gas, and are very loud. So without gas your costs will be lower.
If you are serous about driveways I would recommend this
AFAIK that's a power supply for a signal booster. If you trace the coax cable from the wall outlet you'll probably find something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001EKCGT8. That product page even shows a coax power supply.
Simple foam cannon from Amazon
If you think $15 bucket is better than a $2 home depot bucket, then it will be only because you have to justify for spending the extra money.
A lot of times in the detailing business if the seller believes in the price so will the consumer.
Nothing fancy at all. 1) Wal-Mart gas pressure washer 2) Foam cannon from Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/Fasmov-Pressure-Release-Adjustable-Blaster/dp/B01DKC6IY6/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=foam+cannon&qid=1555904617&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 3) Meguiars NXT car soap. Costco was clearing out the 64oz size for $5/jug like 10 years ago. I bought 6 jugs and it's still lasted for me to this day. Still have 4 jugs of it unopened.
I really want to...I don't know if I'd offend them though. When someone shows me a better way to do something, I am grateful but not everyone feels that way. I actually just bought my first home and a power washer with it. I also got one of these to go with it...best $60 i've ever spent...
I posted about Sodium Citrate a while ago and I love the bejeezus out of it. I'm glad you do, too!
It turns any cheese into a creamy, velvety, sauce when used. My favorite use so far is making Queso with Pepperjack cheese. I get mine from Amazon for around $15.00 USD. https://www.amazon.com/WillPowder-Sodium-Citrate-16-Ounce-Jar/dp/B00250Y9Y6
Also, an immersion blender will be your best friend when it comes to making not just cheese sauces, yet making pureed foods (hello, creamy and cheesy cauli-mash!), custards, whipped cream, gravy, - so many possibilities.
Also, for extra flavor: I add in Seitenbacher soup mix to some cheese and vegetable dishes. Amazon link is here: https://www.amazon.com/Seitenbacher-Vegetarian-Vegetable-Seasoning-5-Ounce/dp/B000FAPM2Q
It add a whole new dynamic to one's flavor palate. I use it to take the "green" taste out of vegetables I don't care for much like green beans. It's also vegetarian-friendly. I find it amazing addition to chicken. cream, and tomato-based dishes. I started off using it sparingly due to the strong taste but love the flavor. It's a little higher in salt, but balancing out one's potassium shouldn't be an issue.
As a Wisconsinite, beer cheese soup is a must around here and this helps mimic the flavor due to having some yeast extract. I usually slip in some Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen, New Glarus Spotted Cow, or a Guinness if my macros are low for the day. :D
Alternatively, a Sun Joe SPX3000 Pressure Washer is currently $150 at Amazon. This is a 120V electric pressure washer, they are generally significantly less powerful than gas models, but this is a top-end electric model so surprisingly capable and totally suitable for home use.
I have a Sun Joe one from Amazon. Works well enough.
Sun Joe SPX3000 Pressure Joe 2030 PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5-Amp Electric Pressure Washer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPGMUXW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8-8jCbT1WGR6V
I use the sunjoe spx3001. I think that’s the model.
It’s electric and works fantastic
However, for deck work. This ain’t it. Electric ones can’t hold their pressure for more than 20-30 seconds.
In short. My model is great for washing cars. And won’t have the strength to do real work. Ask yourself what would you use it for and go from there.
I wash my car once a week. I don’t even touch it. Full contactless washing. Once a month, on the day I reapply my TW ceramic hybrid spray on. I do scrub it.
Edit: this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LX8Z03K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7JUmFb4WDQTVK)
I did an analysis a while back based on psi, gpm, $ and wand connections. Ended up whittling it down to a Sun Joe. Turns out it's the number one seller on Amazon so I guess I wasn't too far off in my conclusion. I haven't pulled the trigger yet (pun intended) but it'll be my first choice for replacing my current machine this spring.

$150 for the most popular pressure washer on amazon 4k reviews! a lot of people pressure wash it seems haha.
I got this one from Amazon for power washing patio, driveway, and house. Have loved it so far. Good for quick around the house stuff without having to worry about the gas engine complications that could come along later.

I have this one, which in believe is the exact same one featured in this good gif: Karcher 15” Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner
It works amazingly well. I would highly recommend it.
Will this fit on the SX-64 for the breadbin chips or is it too tall?

Any one like this should be fine. I also had a small in-line amplifier before my main TV, but I don't really think it does much.
Green Works is an ok brand. I wouldn't get one if you have a lot of stuff to power wash, but if you have a really small property or space they will work fine.
I got this one as a gift and it works really, really well.
I bought this 6 years ago when I got my house and it does the job. Still works great and will be using it today actually.

You gotta get that circular attachment for doing sidewalks to make it extra satisfying though.

I just bought a SunJoe from Amazon for about 160$ and it works great, I washed my car with it today. 2000 psi and 1.76 gpm. My father has the same one and he loves it, it comes w a 2 year warranty as well.

3 years ago bought this guy and still using it for my weekend profits…. Just saying $15 now compared to anything more expensive….
I think it was $160 on Amazon - this model here - Sun Joe SPX3000 2030 Max PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5-Amp Electric High Pressure Washer, Cleans Cars/Fences/Patios https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00CPGMUXW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_0NFMWFKZ5Z6MBEHGGMQ3
True but you can get smaller ones that are still much better than a wand. I can do my whole driveway in under and hour with this (Limited-time deal: Karcher 8.641-035.0 Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner Attachment, 15", Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BMB3X68/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_dl_S4M64K4SR1E09FTFGDRV)
I use a Sun Joe. It’s not great but definitely good enough. I did have to order an extension hose to get around each car in one continuous circle. I also upgraded a few fittings based on comments on other detailing sites.

This. Although there are really good ones that are cheaper. Snow Foam Sprayer is what should be entered in the Search bar.

Can someone help me find a swivel to fit on my pressure washer handle?
I have this pressure washer:

With this hose extension:

Sun joe told me they do not make a swivel to fit on the gun, and I can’t find a solution. I’d like to not have a series of adapters if possible. Thanks!
I got this one. Won’t really use the detergent tank since I also bought the foam cannon (linked).

Gotcha, yeah that would indeed be frustrating. Definitely can't say I've had any issues like that with my own but shame yours gave you trouble. I really like the Karcher 15" and its a better constructed unit for sure. Big fan. Amazon link here.
