Ah fair point. I didn't think of that.
Look what I found:

Not quite as small as the picture, but still, this is pretty respectable.
Sounds like you could use an extender to boost your wifi signal.
Depending on how much ground you need to cover, you could spend as little as 15 bucks (for 800 sq foot boost). 40 bucks for a 1500sq foot boost.
Get yourself a WiFi repeater like this. It should have an Ethernet port on it so you set it up near your rig, connect to your network and connect to your rig. This is how I solved my problem, and kept the wife happy Amazon link
I bought a range extender off Amazon, it's fairly easy to set up.

You download the app and the app basically leads you thru step by step.
Ps4 wifi blows. I had the same issue, I got an extender and plugged it near the ps4 and just run an Ethernet from that to the ps4 to get around it.
Here’s the one I use it’s like $23
TP-Link AC750 WiFi Extender (RE220), Covers Up to 1200 Sq.ft and 20 Devices, Up to 750Mbps Dual Band WiFi Range Extender, WiFi Booster to Extend Range of WiFi Internet Connection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1WW638/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2F22GP896VVR3DW9ZNTN
I wonder if using a wifi extender would work, then plug the hub into the extender.
You’ll have to test or someone will need to say that wont work lol
Ive always been curious about this as well.
Something like this: TP-Link - Wifi Extender AC1750 WiFi Extender (RE450), PCMag Editor's Choice, Up to 1750Mbps, Dual Band Wifi Range Extender, Internet Booster, Access Point, Extend Wifi Signal to Smart Home & Alexa Devices White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010S6SG3S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PQS7PR9BSPGRBKGEE6F7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Just ordered it tonight actually. Little $40 Netgear number, seems simple enough and has good reviews on Amazon.
Do you have a router now with Ethernet ports? Go buy a long cat5 or 6 cable for something fast. Or use something like this access point You plug it into an outlet, connect it to your wifi and plug your computer into this on the Ethernet port.
Limited-time deal: TP-Link AC750 WiFi Extender (RE220), Covers Up to 1200 Sq.ft and 20 Devices, Up to 750Mbps Dual Band WiFi Range Extender, WiFi Booster to Extend Range of WiFi Internet Connection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1WW638/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_dl_21Y7WN6W0E3FMZXK9DMQ
To be fair smaller properties can be hard in this regard, it would still more than likely be best to put at least some AC-LR’s in the hallways. I wouldn’t try and surround the house because of dead spots.
But we recommend items like these extenders they are WiFi based but for desktops with no WiFi built in they work well.
This works great connecting one of my L3++ miners to the 5GHz band of my WiFi network and keeps pings to litecoinpool.org below 35ms.
this is the way.
envisalink is ethernet, not wifi. but that can be solved easily with a wifi access point.
for example, https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Extender-External-Antennas-TL-WA855RE/dp/B0195Y0A42/
I have mine connected for almost a year now with no issues. I do have it connected to a 2.5ghz only access point (Wi-Fi extender in the garage for other smart devices), so that might be the issue you are having. You could get a device like this (https://smile.amazon.com/TP-Link-Extender-External-Antennas-TL-WA855RE/dp/B0195Y0A42) and you can create a new 2.5ghz only network that connects to your main network.
I ran into issues with my downstairs router not giving great signal upstairs. I bought this amplifier off Amazon and it works great for me.

You have a couple of options. I'm trenching fiber about 500 feet but I'm trenching already so no biggie. https://www.fs.com/products/50147.html
If you don't want to trench and you're fine with using wifi, try a range extender. This one has an rj45 connection on it, so you can plug a cable from your laptop, Meraki, or whatever into it. How that extender can make use of another wifi coming from somewhere else is another problem you'll need to sort out.
Another option if you don't want to run Cat cable to other routers is to install a Wifi to Ethernet device (or a wifi extender with ethernet port) feeding each external routers. Tried it and it works fine.

IT guy by profession, woodworker as a hobby. I ran ethernet through a conduit and installed a new access point in my shop. For a less extreme solution, you can buy a wifi repeater (example here https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Extender-External-Antennas-TL-WA855RE/dp/B0195Y0A42/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=wifi+repeater&qid=1606926663&sr=8-3) You plug this into an outlet in your house as near to the building as possible. It basically receives the signal, and then boosts it back out. It works pretty well, but having that "man in the middle" will cause a slight inherent lag. If you're just wanting to watch youtube videos and check email from the shack, that won't be a problem though.
Sup man, I also game on wifi, and have an extender in my room. I have also experienced packet loss while taking. Unfortunately wifi is pretty hit or miss. If the connection is lacking you will suffer from packet loss no matter how good your wifi card is. An extender is a good option for around 60$ you can have a more stable signal in your room, and it might help a bit with the packet loss. Another solution which will 100% work is buying a flat Ethernet cable and some cable clips and cleanly running it to your room. You will have sick ping and never have to worry about packet loss again if you hard wire. I personally did this with a 100ft flat Ethernet cable I bought off amazon. I did however game on an extender for a while, there’s some good ones out there that can get the job done. Just keep in mind you might still experience the odd ping spike or loss of packets, but it will be much better. Here’s the extender I have.
TP-Link AC1750 WiFi Range Extender with High Speed Mode and Intelligent Signal Indicator (RE450) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B010S6SG3S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QwisCbZ3P5KFP
Hope you fix ur stuff my guy :)
Something like this may work:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SK2H6W
It lets you connect to the WiFi and gives you Ethernet out you can use for the Aruba. It’s not the fastest but it should get the job done if you’re not using lots of data.
I got a TP-Link AC750, as far as I know they should work with any router and it has good reviews online as well. It’s setup by connecting the extender to your router via their app or website
Getting an internal card tends to always be better than having USB adapters. Depending on the age of the router, a new router can make the difference too. However, for a better signal, I suggest a WiFi Extender. Now this won't help with the ping, but what it does help with is getting you a better signal. You basically plug it into a power outlet somewhere between you and the router. After you set it up, it connects to the router and seamlessly extends the range of your router's wireless.
https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1750-inteligente-enrutadores-inal%C3%A1mbricos/dp/B0195Y0A42/
This is an in-expesnive example. Depending on the age of your router you will have either a 2.5ghz band router or 5ghz. Most 5ghz support both connections, but if you buy a 2.5ghz extender like my example link, you only extend that.
Yeah, unless you want to run coax or ethernet, a repeater halfway between the router location and study would probably be your best bet.
An old wifi router as a bridge, or something like this would work:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R92CL5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uxmlFbWW20SS2
get yourself a network repeater: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX3700/dp/B00R92CL5E/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=wifi+repeater+netgear&qid=1595946921&sr=8-5
Place this around the spots of your house where the wifi can't reach for your iPhones or any wireless devices. A network repeater will take the signal of your (wifi router) and retransmit it thus successfully extending the wireless signal.
Does your CL modem/router have both wireless G (2.4 GHz) and AC (5 GHz)? Any WiFi extender should work but make sure it supports the WiFi protocol the modem/router has. Normally, an AC WiFi extender should be backward compatible but read the description to be sure.
Here is an example on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N1WW638/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_8v0pEb0D2MWS7
What you want is a router or access point, and a wireless bridge. With the bridge you plug it into another computer, set it up on the wifi, then it will remember those settings. Anything else you plug it into it will use that wifi signal and push it to the ethernet:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SK2H6W/

That's generally what you want, I can't find the exact one I have on my server at home. That one looks like it can function as an access point as well, so, you might be able to get away with two of them if you don't want to setup a router (I'm just assuming one is close to a router, and the other isn't)
Sorry for format but I'm on mobile. I use this with my ps4. My download speed went from 18mbps to 80mbps. Very happy with the "upgrade."
TP-Link AC750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender (RE200) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NR2VMNC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_5A4eybYKEZ840
I think the PS3 only goes up to g. I use this to get ethernet on an old desktop.
The Speeds are as fast as wifi is but there are some hiccups. Still a good solution if you can;t get ethernet easily. And it will still be faster than the PS3 wifi.
I have Windows 11 on my desktop that runs GSPro and I had two WiFi cards. I used WiFi 1 for the PC and WiFi 2 for the MEVO+. In my case, sometimes it worked, but it wasn't reliable and the MEVO+ would drop offline just as I hit "the perfect shot" =). I regularly had dropouts of one WiFi network or another. What I am doing now works well. I bought this device from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010S6SG3S?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. It hooks up to my WiFi, then I run a Cat 5 LAN cable from the device to the wired internet connection on the PC. The MEVO+ gets hooked up to the WiFi and both the PC and the MEVO+ are happy. The PC thinks it's on a wired connection which frees up the WiFi. This method has worked for me and the TPLink device is relatively inexpensive. Some people have successfully used two WiFi networks, I just found it to be unreliable.
You could always use a wifi extender like this (sorry for the CAN link)
So it would utilize existing wifi, and provide 1 (one) port to use a hardwired connection. I use this in my extension when its summer and i use it as my office. Dont expect constant <50ms, as its wifi, but could be a good option. Try downloading "wifi anylizer" on your phone and test your wifi signal at the TV, it could just be a deadzone because of a nearby electric field
