I bought one of these breakfast sandwich makers which is great for making a high protein breakfast after I go for my morning walk.
Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Sandwich Maker
(I would have assumed its a piece of junk but apparently the reviews are great.)
If you make these a lot I recommend one of these. Breakfast Sandwich Maker
I highly recommend this...Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Sandwich Maker (25490) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3L2DMG/.
I make myself a two egg and cheese sandwich every weekday morning with one. I put the English muffin in the toaster, crack one egg in each compartment of the maker and set a timer for 2 min 30 sec. The English muffin finishes at the same time as the eggs and then I just butter the muffin, put the egg on, cheese and then wrap in tin foil to melt the cheese. For spices I use salt, black pepper and everything bagel seasoning. Very yummy and fast.
Have you tried the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich maker? I know Alton Brown hates it but I love mine and have used it for years. Hamilton Beach 25475A Breakfast Sandwich Maker https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EI7DPOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kfIYCb1QN21QG
Gotta get one of these sumbitches and have it do all the hard work for you at the same time.
(Disclaimer: My girlfriend's aunt owns one and uses it solely as a novelty when she entertains. She says it's otherwise pretty horrible.)
Okay so there is this proctor silex sandwich maker and it’s a total game changer. We had one growing up and i used it for grilled PB&J sammies

These were pretty common in the 70s and 80s, and I have had several myself. They for sure have their uses, but I prefer to do it in a pan.

That's hilarious/brilliant! I am not showing my 11 yr old that, he'll want one. My making it easy tip is to make and cook a load of sausage patties and freeze. You can get little egg size frying pans, I think I got mine in a pound shop or Lidl.
Works great, but doesn't cook bacon :(
I have this thing for making sandwiches. It's decent, but when I want grilled cheese, I prefer using the traditional frying pan method over what I have.
If you're dressed properly for fun, hard-charimg, high-output skiing... you'll be a little cold on the chair. If you're really dedicated to waiting 30+ minutes, it will get cold.
I always ski with a pack, and have a vest/puffy for the warmth.
Hoods up.
Dance around.
Stretch and do yoga.
Coffee with lots of creamer.
Eat a warm breakfast in the lift line.
Best spiel I got, from the Kastle/Wintersteiger rep: get you one of These Bad Boys that runs off thr 12v in your rig, make two on your drive to the hill. Wrap them in foil for later. Boom! chairlift sandwiches.
I tried one of those breakfast sandwich machines (https://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-25475A-Breakfast-Sandwich/dp/B00EI7DPOO) and I was shocked to find that it actually works. I longer pre-make and freeze breakfast sandwiches, but instead, their constituent parts. Canned biscuits and English muffins both freeze very well.
Costco has large packs of English muffins on offer. They also have Canadian bacon. I gallon bag and freeze the muffins. I lay the bacon out on a cookie sheet (layers seperated by silpats) and freeze. Once frozen, put the Canadian bacon back together in a gallon bag for storage. Costco also sells frozen sausage patties.
Defrost any of these for 45 seconds in the microwave (30 seconds for the bacon). Assemble on pre-heated sandwich maker. (English muffin or biscuit bottom, cheese on top, with edges folded in. Meat on this. Egg goes on egg plate, and then top with muffin or biscuit top. 4-5 minutes in the machine. Perfect Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin,Sausage McMuffin with egg, or sausage biscuit.
And for a bonus - kaiser rolls if you want to be a purist (but English muffins work too) + costco sausage + SBR BBQ + pickles + onion slivers == at home McRib.
All the unhealthy MCDs eats without the cost or commute...
Wasn’t there a toaster that did “portraits” on purpose?
Aha!
A few years ago I got a breakfast sandwich maker for my birthday - used it a bit, but let it linger on the shelf (like so many other kitchen gadgets). I've recently brought it back out...and why did I ever stop using it!? Nothing beats a breakfast sandwich to start the day, especially one youve made yourself however you like.
I have no skin in this game..... But this post reminded me of something.
So, if you want to have a legit Cheesus Sam, I will show you the way....

I googled "cheesus christ" to see if it would come up. Amazon is selling Grilled cheesus sandwich press ! It toasts Jesus and his holy rays onto the bread! $44.95 and it's yours, available from multiple stores.
something like this which turns a sandwich/grilled cheese/etc into two crispy triangles. ideally with some of the cheese oozing out and crisping up on the outside of the bread. it’s basically impossible to mess up and easy to customize (just add whatever you want, cook eggs on one side, whatever) so it’s a great absolute beginner’s cooking tool. there are some with removable plates and waffle plates/flat grill plates, but i never had that kind. i think they’re called jaffles in australia
Make them fluffy, let them cool before freezing and put them in the fridge to thaw the night before you eat them. I use a little breakfast sandwich cooker like this with just whisked eggs in the top and bottom. You end up with two decent-sized fluffy egg pucks. I pop them in the microwave for 25-35 seconds and they come out perfect and delicious.
If you have room for this, it is small and it is AWESOME. My husband loves this. They make a double one too. Makes the perfect breakfast sandwich. I need that for the pure novelty of it. This is the only thing I could find about it. But if you want to eat out Jesus for your morning specialty Here.
Tl;dr: product's readiness unknown, Jesus grilled cheese press.
This bad boy right here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C95O3DY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WYJJ6ST580YATSWVCCTK
And it makes more than just breakfast sammies! I used to love McDonald's bacon egg and cheese biscuits and now I can just slap together a healthier one at home in 5 minutes. I use it almost every day for a hot and filling breakfast.
Jesus toast is real.... you can make it. If this is meant as something other than literally having Jesus' face on toast then I don't know what it is.
Its basically what the Brit's call a 'cheese toasty'
It is comfort food. It's also something kids can make themselves. I also grew up with a sandwich press that I could make my own 'grilled cheese' sandwich with when I wanted a hot snack as a kid.
It's absolutely fabulous dunked into Campbell's tomato soup (made with adding a can of milk, not with water).
I prefer Martin's Potato Bread with two squares of Velvetta Cheese. I will argue that Kopps Custard in Milwaukee makes a fabulous grilled cheese.
For everyone like me who saw the pic and had to buy it now. You're welcome.

It's a pancake made with the chaffle batter recipe. The batter can be used in a Dash mini-griddle instead of a Dash mini-waffle maker.
Here's a Serious Keto video on it:
Hmm ... I fugured I’d need one of these to kick my McDonald’s breakfast habit. The answer was in my kitchen the whole time.
