My advice is to get an inexpensive scale which will allow you to know how much you are taking. Sometimes as little as 0.5 g makes the difference between a good and bad experience for me.
Link to the one I got for cheap: https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-SWS100-Digital-Pocket/dp/B00EPO9M2Y
(I do "amazon smile" that donates a small percent of all my purchases to a no-kill animal shelter in my state, at no cost to me)
They are about $10 retail. Here it is on Amazon. We also offer Free Priority shipping and I'm sure a 10% coupon could be found with a google search. :)
It’s called Cubli and you can get it from Amazon . There are also videos on YouTube and I was surprised how noisy it is, still cool though.
Very small, fits perfectly under the Flair. No timer on it though.
Just as I thought, it does look like 3g to me. The quality isn't super but it's pretty solid, pretty good for a first buy.
>The orange bits and the fuzziness are usually good signs, right?
Usually yes, the fuzziness is more important though.
If you plan on buying frequently in the future, you may want to invest in a $10 Scale from amazon. Happy toking!
For your next brew, get a 100g scale, they are pretty cheap; just makes amazon think you are a drug dealer.
Yeah that looks to be about a gram. It really depends on the strain. Seriously man, buy a scale. They are like $10 on amazon for a pocket scale accurate to +/- .01g
i assume you're uk. theres 10mg scales on amazon for 8 pounds right now
That seems like the best compromise. Looking around online, it seems like there's not a great all-in-one solution. I haven't looked at scales for bud, but that looks way easier. You can't really go wrong as accuracy isn't a huge deal, and all of the higher rated ones on amazon look pretty good. Sorry I can't help more. Only suggestion I have is (I know it sounds obvious) to get one that reads down to 0.01g. I told my girlfriend to buy a scale to weigh our bud on one time and she bought a fucking envelope scale that weighs 1g minimum and was always off by a couple grams. Completely useless.
This one would probably be my choice if I was buying after some quick searching. Best reviewed one on amazon that isn't over $20 (which really isn't necessary when weighing such large amounts unless you just want a nice scale).
Edit: I would really recommend picking up some weigh boats too. Makes it easier to keep bud and all of its stickiness inside since the larger scales don't come with a metal boat. You can always clean the scale off, but the boats are like $6 for 100. Here's one listing. That's a lot more useful for powders though, so you might not need them if you're getting a dedicated powder scale too. Definitely a luxury and not a necessity.
Hm.. I wouldn't recommend them. When I first got into DIY a few months ago. I bought their large starter pack that contained the bases a few concentrates and syringes etc. Also purchased a very dark coloured nic from them.
Nothing wrong with their product but you could find better quality and cheaper elsewhere.
Kind of regret my purchase with them as I no longer touch any of it.
Here i'll list where I source my DIY stuff.
I also moved onto scales as cleaning syringes was just a pain. I found mine on Amazon for £8.
Also just purchased a mixer for £6.50 last week. Haven't' tested it yet but have read great reviews and perfect size for mixing liquid. No more shaking! =D

People put the porlex grinder inside of their aeropress but I haven't seen anything like you've described. Build one! Pics when done please! :)
I can recommend this scale: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
I've been using this Smart Weigh SWS600 Elite Pocket Sized Digital Scale 600 x 0.1g, Black for over 5 years. Haven't been shot due to a deal gone bad. Yet.
Sorry about that. You can tell I'm not very good at Reddit
AccuWeight 255 Mini Digital Weight Scale for School Travel Jewelry Pocket Gram Scale 300g/0.01g with Tare and Calibration Food Kitchen Scale https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QB7WV9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apanp_94FTWqu894kdD
I got a cheap scale from Amazon.
Dont search Coffee or food scale, they try to get on the hype and overprice it...
Just search for scientific scale. I figure schools and labs need accuracy as well. I use a pocket scale. Small enough for my coffee. Might not be good with timing but I use it for single dosing.
Mine is below but similar can be found.
Get a cheap scale accurate to 1/100g from Amazon (I use this) then use this online calculator http://tools.vaper.ninja/. Plug in your numbers remembering to set the pg and/or vg ratio of your nic and your final bottle size as it will affect weight. As long as you got your nic measured properly you could mix blindly although I do recommend to set your flavor percentages for note-keeping purposes so you can duplicate a flavor in the future should you actually like it. Myself, I try to keep my flavor concentrates about 10% of the total volume of my juice unless super concentrates are involved then I adjust accordingly.
Please make life easier for yourself.
You can order this from Amazon it's only $9 it's the best I've ever gotten and especially for the price.
Also to always get a perfect measurement from any scale just put a nickel on the scale that will always be 5 grams.
Keep the nickel always on the scale.
When you measure your Kratom it will be perfect every time.
I'm going to put the link I'm not an affiliate but,all I can say is that if you keep on using the spoons are going to go crazy and never get the correct dosage.
Dosage is vital on kratom I did what you did when I first started and you may think a teaspoon is this many grams but Kratom sometimes comes very puffy some very fine and you can't really judge just by a teaspoon.

I went cheap. Don’t regret it as long as you can do decimal grams you are fine.
I used this for the longest time -
Smart Weigh SWS1KG Elite Pocket Sized Digital Scale - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GS8GJGW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VZivFbYDHFGV2
Then I dropped it in water and it died.
But I’d recommend not going too expensive. Maybe a combined scale and timer will save you not having to have two devices.
It will also likely be far, far cheaper.
PG and VG are cheap ( under $20 for a gallon most places ).
And so is nic base ( currently anyway, they are trying to tax the crap out of it ).
It's really easy to mix it up, all you need is a bottle and a decent scale. ( I got mine for like, $12 on Amazon )
It looks exactly like the platinum plated 2004 Michigan quarter I pulled from circulation while coin roll hunting. There are aftermarket-produced sets all over eBay, and they get dumped into circulation now and then
That doesn't mean you don't have an experimental planchet. Its just much more likely to be a plated example.
First step is to weigh it. My plated quarter weighs in at 5.71g. A nominal copper nickel quarter weighs 5.67g. An experimental planchet will weigh 5.9 or more.
If the weight comes in close enough to suggest experimental, try going to coin shops and jewelry stores near you. Ask around for someone that has an XRF scanning gun. That device hits the coins with x-rays and measures the light that bounces back to determine what its made of. The process is non-destructive and won't hurt the value of the coin.
You need a scale that is accurate to 0.01g. They have them on Amazon for like $12
I use this scale from Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075QB7WV9
It works great. I got a 100g and 200g calibration weight to keep it calibrated.
So far I have had no issues with it. It seems to be quite accurate, 1 drop is easily measured.
Just got this one and i love it.
AccuWeight 255 Mini Digital Jewelry Gram Scale Travel Pocket Weight Scale 300g/0.01g with Tare and Calibration https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QB7WV9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_xpk6CbRPS99KN
bought this from costco:
AcuHealth Body Fat and Fitness Analyzer - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XCX9249/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WnOmCbBPXRF8Y
it read my %BF at 10% higher (lean mass at 10% lower) than the Dexascan (measurements taken on the same day within an hourish of each other)
conclusion: do not buy if wanting to measure %BF or %lean mass
Oops, my bad- it was this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
even with this, the accuracy was not great, and got inconsistent results
Cheap strain guages are pretty good. I have this one: Smart Weigh SWS100 Elite Series Digital Pocket Scale, 100g by 0.01g, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EPO9M2Y/
It is precise to 0.02 and accurate to 0.05 according to my calibrated weights. I can easily tell a 0.25g difference in shot speed alone on my Classic.
thebrokevapor was already mentioned but I'd also pick up a scale - I personally use this one https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 then bookmark this calculator http://tools.vaper.ninja/
It's much easier to mix with a scale than trying to fidget around with a syringe imo.
This is the scale I use.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Cheap, gets the job done.
EDIT: That scale was 15.99 when I got it 2 months ago. Seems to have doubled in price since then. Damn.
This is the scale I use. https://smile.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-SWS100-Digital-Pocket/dp/B00EPO9M2Y It claims accuracy to 0.01g but its probably more like 0.03g. It's good enough. To get a really good scale you will need a Japanese brand like Tanita which will cost at least 5x more. https://smile.amazon.com/Tanita-LYSB00IGFIXC8-ELECTRNCS-1479J2-Mini-Scale/
