It is an unblown plastic soda bottle preform. They're sold as water tight small containers so this could have been used for anything.

My advice is to get an inexpensive scale which will allow you to know how much you are taking. Sometimes as little as 0.5 g makes the difference between a good and bad experience for me.
Link to the one I got for cheap: https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-SWS100-Digital-Pocket/dp/B00EPO9M2Y
(I do "amazon smile" that donates a small percent of all my purchases to a no-kill animal shelter in my state, at no cost to me)
Literally any modeling kit on amazon or elsewhere would probably work
When I took orgo, I bought this one and it pretty much sufficed for the class: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCU854K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there too or ones that people might be trying to get rid of if you aren't trying to spend that much
Are we looking at two different things? He linked to this Amazon page: https://www.amazon.ca/HICTOP-Desktop-Accuracy-Self-Assembly-Tridimensional/dp/B00N7I1ZVU
In the 4th picture it shows a close up of the lead screw.
They are about $10 retail. Here it is on Amazon. We also offer Free Priority shipping and I'm sure a 10% coupon could be found with a google search. :)
also on amazon ($189 even tho buying directly from the website is probably better)
Theyre also really clear that it's made in the US so if you're into that, that's a boon.
I mean there's this

That's the one I was looking at. The other, cheaper ones, don't have the actual elements in them.
Very small, fits perfectly under the Flair. No timer on it though.
Just as I thought, it does look like 3g to me. The quality isn't super but it's pretty solid, pretty good for a first buy.
>The orange bits and the fuzziness are usually good signs, right?
Usually yes, the fuzziness is more important though.
If you plan on buying frequently in the future, you may want to invest in a $10 Scale from amazon. Happy toking!
For your next brew, get a 100g scale, they are pretty cheap; just makes amazon think you are a drug dealer.
Yeah that looks to be about a gram. It really depends on the strain. Seriously man, buy a scale. They are like $10 on amazon for a pocket scale accurate to +/- .01g
i assume you're uk. theres 10mg scales on amazon for 8 pounds right now
I see the Prusa i3 and this one on amazon saying its a prusa i3 and they look different. Are they just different generations (you mention mk2) or is the amazon one just a knock off? Due to shipping the amazon would be much better but dont want to order one that turns out to be junk.

That seems like the best compromise. Looking around online, it seems like there's not a great all-in-one solution. I haven't looked at scales for bud, but that looks way easier. You can't really go wrong as accuracy isn't a huge deal, and all of the higher rated ones on amazon look pretty good. Sorry I can't help more. Only suggestion I have is (I know it sounds obvious) to get one that reads down to 0.01g. I told my girlfriend to buy a scale to weigh our bud on one time and she bought a fucking envelope scale that weighs 1g minimum and was always off by a couple grams. Completely useless.
This one would probably be my choice if I was buying after some quick searching. Best reviewed one on amazon that isn't over $20 (which really isn't necessary when weighing such large amounts unless you just want a nice scale).
Edit: I would really recommend picking up some weigh boats too. Makes it easier to keep bud and all of its stickiness inside since the larger scales don't come with a metal boat. You can always clean the scale off, but the boats are like $6 for 100. Here's one listing. That's a lot more useful for powders though, so you might not need them if you're getting a dedicated powder scale too. Definitely a luxury and not a necessity.
Hm.. I wouldn't recommend them. When I first got into DIY a few months ago. I bought their large starter pack that contained the bases a few concentrates and syringes etc. Also purchased a very dark coloured nic from them.
Nothing wrong with their product but you could find better quality and cheaper elsewhere.
Kind of regret my purchase with them as I no longer touch any of it.
Here i'll list where I source my DIY stuff.
I also moved onto scales as cleaning syringes was just a pain. I found mine on Amazon for £8.
Also just purchased a mixer for £6.50 last week. Haven't' tested it yet but have read great reviews and perfect size for mixing liquid. No more shaking! =D

It started as one of the Amazon Prusa clones, Hictop, but I've made a few mods to it (E3D hot end & bowden extruder)
Here's the Amazon link in case anyone is curious.
It includes a certificate of chemical composition and interesting tungsten facts!
People put the porlex grinder inside of their aeropress but I haven't seen anything like you've described. Build one! Pics when done please! :)
I can recommend this scale: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EPO9M2Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
I got this as mystery Christmas present exchange when I was in my teens.
Still think about this pen from time to time.
Same sort of thing with me. She was 13-14 and I needed to install network cable in her room. Pulled out her bed and a Squiggle Wiggle Writer fell out onto the floor. With the on/off switch lovingly taped so it would stay on. Put it back, never said a word.
I saw a video of someone using soda bottle preforms to store their JBweld. I just happen to have some. Here is an amazon link to see them, but they are cheaper elsewhere online.

You can use really heavy metals as a ballast that don’t take much space. Example obviously can be molded accordingly, and the motogp engineers are used to working with exotic materials, don’t think it’s going to be an issue…
Tungsten was my thought, back when Hughie couldn't even lift it.
For reference, a 4 inch tungsten cube weighs 17.6 lbs, and costs $3500 on Amazon.
All part of the Dad job. Reminds me of the time I went into my 13 year old daughter's bedroom and pulled out her bed to install an ethernet cable. A slightly modified Squiggle Writer falls out onto the floor. I put it back and said nothing.
