Switch Grey - 299
Games - old enough that you can usually get them for 49.99 at bare minimum on Walmart/Amazon, but we'll say 60 for arguments sake
Generic controller - Garbage and you don't want it, but 19.99
SD card on Amazon right now for 21 bucks https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Memory-Standard-Packaging-SDSDUNC-128G-GN6IN/dp/B0143IISD0
"protection kit": https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-ultimate-protection-kit-for-nintendo-switch-lite-black/6368937.p?skuId=6368937 24.99
So already assuming you want everything in the bundle brand new and at full price without looking around on many other websites or different brands for cheaper pieces or excluding something you don't want or need, it's still at 485 for the individual pieces if you don't buy this bundle. It's overpriced and DEFINITELY not a "deal"
For those wondering....$36 on Amazon delivered in two days
Edit: The Best Buy one is even a worse card. 80Mb/s vs 95Mb/s.

I would say the issues aren't related. The grain is probably the camera settings (high max iso, high f-stop etc) and only being able to record for a short time is on the adapter for the sd card. I got this a while back for myself
SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC Memory Card up to 170MB/s, UHS-1, Class 10, U3, V30 https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07H9DVLBB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_CDQWTQ5YVT5NNDVMQ3ZP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And it works perfectly, I can get a burst of 18 raw shots off before my camera's buffer fills up and I've had no issues recording video at all.
Oui, SanDisk est un fabriquant de mémoire flash.

Typiquement, ce modèle fait le taf.
It will all depend on the application you are considering the components for.
SD cards have a variety of parameters, in the case of this one you have the following parameters:
170MB/s read speed
90 MB/s write speed
128GB capacity
SD Format (as opposed to micro SD)
Operating temperature between -25 and + 80 degrees C
17.86g weight
Shockproofness - this isn't specified
Waterproofness - again, not specified
Lifetime of card - flash memory starts to fail after a large number of read/ write cycles.

For soemone like me who enjoys taking landscape photos in the mountains I am concerned about temperature range, waterproofness, shockproofness.
For someone shooting outdoor sports they would probably prioritise write speed to enable seqeuential burst shots.
Oh ok. I currently have this card for my FX3 but I never saw anywhere where it said what type it is. Can you explain the difference between this one and the Sony Type A that I linked up top?
Or better yet, instead of that, I am basically trying to find a great SD card for my FX3 so that I can record in any format/setting that I want. Is the Sony Type A my best option or are there any other reliable cards that are less expensive?
Your using a SD card that isn't designed for that kind of use and should be using a card like this.
The adapter sleeve is a cheap piece of plastic that allows the micro sd to transfer data, not something that can handle the every day wear and tear of data transfer.
128gb Sandisk, works great

These are good, reasonably fast, come with a lifetime warranty and are the most popular SD card on Amazon. The 16gb version is under $10
I'm using this one:

You'd have to ask around a bit about how large SD cards fare. I've read conflicting information. Remember too that if you're using the SD Card Maker tool, your entire game list is pre-cached and so GDMenu doesn't have to do any on-the-fly caching. I believe this is where many people got caught up in the early days with their warnings over large cards.
If you consider the size of untrimmed Dreamcast GDIs to be just over 1 GB in size, then you may determine that 128 GB is all you need. I've got 111 games on mine, but this is also including a handful of indie-developed CDI-format disc images and a couple English translation hacks (also CDI, meaning around 700 MB in size).
I don't know what universe you're living in, but a 128 GB SD card is half of that.
See? That's 36 bucks, or ~£30 if you convert it. Not even half the price you say they are.
Also, the prices do seem indicative, I've found dozens of unique iPods selling for this same price range on eBay. Would you like me to link some more sold listings? Here's a scrolling screenshot of all I found, and I think that's enough iPods sold at a consistent price to say that flashmodding is stable.
Overall, there's enough listings there that it seems like a viable way to make some quick money for me.
Yeah, just buy another couple SD cards. Check the link below, they're $10 apiece for a better performance card than the one you chipped.
Not other than increasing the time between shots thereby allowing time for the buffer to empty. But this may not be an option for what you are using it for. You could try the fastest UHS-I SDXC card that money can buy, but I do not know if the limit lies more with the camera than the card. link to sd card on amazon
Even if buying from SanDisk directly? Didn’t know there was much of a difference in SD cards but I found out it’s good to have smaller ones than one large one in case of failure etc
SanDisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 SDHC UHS-I Memory Card up to 80MB/s (SDSDUNC-032G-GN6IN) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0143RT8OY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HWZLDbKTHD4WG
being a current-gen game with all the DLC included, snowball's chance in hell it would run less than 60 USD
32gb cards aren't as expensive as they used to be. You can pick up a 32gb SD card for like ~~10~~ 7 dollars retail.
Not to come off as a troll or anything, but have you considered simply purchasing a larger sd card? I myself finally broke down and bought a 64gb Sandisk sd card last year for $20 and it's way more than enough for all of my roms and even Sega CD isos. I just checked Amazon and that same 64gb card I bought last year is now only $12. (Sold and shipped by Amazon, not a shady third party seller.)
edit: just doublechecked the link i posted and it defaults to a 32gb sd card. there are options to choose 64gb and 128gb.
i have the 256 version of this one and works flawless , on a side note.. if you wanna buy it just make sure you take the new version that has 170MB/s transfer speed for the same price.
Does your camera take a very long time to save a RAW image after a long exposure of > 30 sec? I took a 4 min exposure yesterday and it took almost the same time to save the image to memory card. I was using A7 with this SD card. Is the (slow?) memory card to blame?
Thanks!
> good, high quality SD card. Make sure it's high endurance and not some generic Sandisk SD card
Such as what? Whats wrong with regular sandisk SD cards such as this? https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-Class-Memory-SDSDUNC-032G-GN6IN/dp/B0143RT8OY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525218853&sr=8-3&keywords=sd+card
Whats the difference between these two? Does the v30 matter? Because most people recommend the one without the v30. $7 difference between the two where I come from.
vs
I'm not saying get that one, but there are others at reasonable prices (and a known brand), just have to search "sd card class 10" to find them.
No you cant, you are wrong. There are 512GB SD cards, not MicroSD. The Switch uses MICRO SD Cards!
The largest MicroSD card available currently is 400GB
My number one tip is to make sure you do a FULL format on the SD card. I used this card to do Letterbomb, and even though it's formatted to FAT32 by default, Letterbomb wouldn't show up at first. I then used Window's built in format tool and it still wouldn't work with "quick format" checked. Once I unchecked "quick format" and let it take the full 20 or 30 minutes to do the format, that got Letterbomb to show up.
You are correct, they are from a single youtuber, and he did mention the possibility of a 'quality control' issue on his unit. It may be that the other issues were also defects, and he just did not know it. Thank you for your help!
Bonus question, is this SD card fine for 4k? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0143IISD0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
