So our cleaning lady accidentally put my rep Chanel espadrilles in the donation bin a few months ago and last week I received a replacement from the same seller (AliExpress guy I added on whatsapp). They were the same size (37) but fit tighter and a tad shorter than my old ones :cries: so I went to Amazon to get a 4 way shoe tree to stretch them and came across this spray. OMG it was like a miracle! I sprayed in and out, put in the trees and left overnight. This morning they were perfect! Even loose enough to wear with thin no-show socks.
I know breaking in shoes can literally be a pain so I figured sharing this might help someone. Have a great day ladies!
If you had wanted 6 pairs anyway and are an Amazon Prime member. Get them here at at every day price with free 2 day shipping:

Solved! That was really fast thank you!!! Yeah the nicer pair they had were stolen and this is what they have left https://www.amazon.com/FootFitter-Bunion-Stretcher-Stretching-Device/dp/B000POHTOG found some for sale on Amazon so at least that gives them an idea.
Well, if you aren't able to get your money back, I would recommend trying to spot-mold the toe box. If it is just a little pinchy, this might work for you.
Put your feet in the boot. Mark the spot of pinching with a pen or a marker. Just a dot for reference. Take your foot out of the boot. You can then heat it up with a heat gun and try pushing the spot out with a wrench or the back of a screwdriver. There are professional boot stretchers that use balls that you can get off of Amazon for pretty cheap too and are more precise than the wrench option. (And cheaper than new boots.)
I've done a similar thing using actual shoe stretchers with dance shoes.
It works pretty well if you're very careful and are trying to stretch a very specific spot. For my dance shoes, my pinky toe sticks out so I use one of the "bunion" pieces to basically speed up the break-in that eventually happens bc my toe presses that area every time I wear them.
These are also basically handsewns so they have zero internal structure at the toe.
I don't think it's a great solution for really anything else. If the whole toe box is too small, it'll be tough to stretch it out at best.
I also wouldn't do this with trees but with something that will apply more consistent pressure like the dedicated stretchers I linked.
Finally, it's super easy to overdue and stretch the shoe too much or stretch it in the wrong area.
edit: I guess my final verdict is that it's certainly doable, but it's easy to mess up a perfectly good pair of shoes. So it's something I'd do, but would advise against for someone I don't know on the internet.
Are you in the US? If so, Cedar Elements shoe trees sells 6 pairs at $86 on Amazon. I bought a lot of these when they still shipped to Canada (best deal I could ever find up here) and they're on par with any of the other recommended brands here like Woodlore or Moneysworth & Best.

Hey! Thanks for the advice! Will try them.
I didn’t stretch them in length. I stretched them in height because they were so tight I could barely keep the shoes on for 2 minutes, it would cut off my circulation. And because of that I couldn’t really feel and realize that it was big in length.
I took the shoes to shoe maker, and they stretched it with something like this https://www.amazon.com/Eachway-Professional-Premium-Stretcher-Adjustable/dp/B01NAKQEBL
I think Woodlore trees on Amazon are pretty simple and effective. I personally don’t use trees in my suede boots though but I prefer the worn-in look for them. Given that, I also don’t protect them for the same reason.
Woodlore Adjustable Men's Shoe Tree,Cedar,Large (10 - 11 M US) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PEEAOS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ewggAbA018CS3
Not sure about using them in boots, but I can't see why not. I recently purchased some Woodlores and also some Ollieroo (the ones with two rods/springs and that spread) pairs from Amazon and the Ollieroo can't be beaten. They have a wider, fuller heel and a taller, fuller vamp area. They are REALLY nice. Super heavy. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Ollieroo-Mens-Trees-Adjustable-Cedar/dp/B00WJIRM3Y/ref=sr_1_3?crid=29JMHQFADP2YW&keywords=ollieroo+shoe+tree&qid=1559569480&s=gateway&sprefix=ollieroo+shoe%2Caps%2C169&sr=8-3.
I have some generic shoe stretchers from Amazon. You need to be careful with stretching, you can go too far and damage the shoes build if not done right.
https://www.amazon.com/Eachway-Professional-Premium-Stretcher-Adjustable/dp/B01NAKQEBL/
I bought a pair of Nordstrom shoe trees as well. They're decent, but they're the same style and quality as my Moneysworth & Best Shoe Trees from Amazon. The finishing is a tad bit better on the Nordstrom shoe trees in areas that don't matter (inner portion of the shoe tree).
I also have a pair of the Winners M&B shoe trees and those ones aren't great, as they don't have the rounded heel block.
IMO Nordstrom shoe trees are a decent buy at $20, but nothing spectacular considering you can get the M&B trees on Amazon year round for basically the same price.
Same issue here, pinky toe bunion, it was a real pain in the ass, I tried everything, from the bunion corrector, toe separators, straighteners, and pads, the only thing that really helped is the shoe stretcher similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAKQEBL/
I imagine a basic shoe stretcher from amazon like this would work
or you could put on multiple pairs of socks and cram your foot in there and bear the pain for a while so the leather expands. Ive heard some people get their shoe wet when they try to stretch them, but I wouldnt do that because it might damage the leather here. good luck
Before you scrap them, buy a set of shoe stretchers and see if you can eke a little more room in them. I just bought these KevenAnna Pair of Premium... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A6VM190?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I haven’t tried them on fabric or encrusted shoes, but it’s worth a shot! (I couldn’t get the thing to make a link work)
I'm a women's 15 shoe. I have been getting them on Amazon. You can apply a search filter by shoe size, or add "size 15" to the search text (not as consistent results.
Couple shoe tips:
Get a shoe stretcher. These things can make a tight shoe wearable. Example:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0773HD6YR?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2\_dt\_b\_product\_details
Another tip for shoes is to put a zip log bag full of water in the shoe, and stick it in the freezer. As the water freezes it will slowly expand, and widen the shoe. I was extremely skeptical this would work, but it works great. Just make sure you don't spill water all over your shoe, and that the ice doesn't expand out of the opening. You kinda need to pack it in there. Do it a couple times and you'll figure it out.
I wore a men's tall shirt size. Standard women's shirts are too short for me. So I add "longline" to the search, and I make sure their shirts are 30" in length. I've also searched for "tank minidress" and turned those into tank tops with my sewing machine. Sigh... I have such a long torso.
Walmart has a lot of the same clothes that you see on Amazon, but a lot cheaper. I'm really not impressed with the clothes at Target.
Not sure how many yoy need, but I use these Cedar Elements Little Wholesale Program - Combination Cedar Shoe Trees - 6 Pairs (M) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T57HKU2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_RZNXESYP50S3FBE9ER1E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and honestly prefer them to Woodlores. They also have the six pack of slatted (non-combination for $86). eBay is also an option for cheap bulk trees.
Yeah that's the other thing I was worried about. My 700 Waverunners fit perfect at 48.
So I still have no idea what "47" is going to be on these. I doubt they made a 12.5 and the 12s are listed at 46.5
I bought a shoe stretcher on Amazon for my AMM Jordan 3s and it worked pretty well, maybe you can try that.
So, the best thing I've found for that is the below. It doesn't stretch the entire top at once, but if there's a part above your toes that is too tight, this will stretch it inch by inch. (It's also great for shoes that pinch your pinky toes on the sides.)
I've also tried these, but they don't really work how you'd want them to. They make the shoe entrance higher, maybe, but won't stretch out a toebox.
You can try a shoe stretcher. It might help, just buy the appropriate size. Leave it on for a couple days. I have the one listed below.
That’s strange, my auths are not narrow at all. However I recently got a shoe stretcher from Amazon which worked really well for a pair of rep espadrilles I had! It’s supposed to be able to stretch width as well.
Depending on the shoe material, you may have luck with this. I used this on some leather loafers and it did the trick.
Alternatively, if you don't have access to 3D printing, you can do a pretty good job with one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/FootFitter-Bunion-Stretcher-Stretching-Device/dp/B000POHTOG
Just heat the area, put the tool in place, tighten the nut, wait, repeat. Takes a little while to do a large area but it does work.
https://www.amazon.com/Eachway-Professional-Premium-Stretcher-Adjustable/dp/B01NAKQEBL
Then you would want to try these guys if they’re a little but not extremely tight with some oil or water inside the shoe on the tight parts
These from STP:
Or woodlore from amazon:
Recently took a gamble on this brand called Cedar Elements on Amazon (linked the mediums, but size chart is found on the other sizes) as they have a really good price for 6 pairs of shoe trees. Of the 6, one pair came with a bit of splitting in the wood that might affect its longevity, but overall I'm happy with what I got considering the price. They make several styles of trees but I'd advise caution against some of the ones with a raised instep as some have said they don't fit in their shoes/boots. They sell them in pairs as well if you want to stick with 2 for now.
Off Amazon, Woodlore is arguably the most recommended brand here. Their base price is reasonable but as recently as last month, they ran a BOGO free sale which made them a great deal.
I can't say for sure if they are the best, but I've had good luck with the cheapest Woodlore trees on Amazon. I've found their springs to be very tight, so I size down 1 from the recommended size (i.e. I am 8.5-9 and I use Small).
Yeah I see that now. Hmmm. Are these actually bad? I'm no expert, but an extremely similar product gets good ratings on 1,700+ reviews on Amazon.
Happy to help! Another word of advice: if a shoe is just slightly too tight, you can stretch it. A pair of shoe stretchers can be your best friend. Some materials stretch better than others though; in my experience leather can be surprisingly pliable if you apply a 50-50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water to the inside of the toe of the shoe, while canvas shoes are difficult to stretch without breaking.
Not a shoe tree, a shoe stretcher.
Like these:
Yes, mainline.
I have never tried them, but I do have ankle socks which are almost no-show. And it does kind of work I guess as the sweat doesn't soak the visible part of the socks, but it will ruin the shoes though if you're getting soaked on the bottom. The best thing is buy a bunch of shoes and alternate between them, also spray them after a day of use to keep the shoe longer. And also use something like this in shoes after using it https://www.amazon.ca/CedarFresh-58106-Natural-Deodorizer-ReFresh/dp/B002KDD0DE
